SPUHR R-302 MP5 TOP RAIL

The R-302 Top Rail is a drop-in top rail for the MP5 platform. The rail is made
from hard coat anodized aluminum and uses stainless steel side clamps and Zinc­Nickel treated steel screws.

Installation

1. Inspect the receiver rails to verify which surfaces are squared and which are

angled. Apply a drop of Loctite® 243 (Blue) on the starting threads of each
screw

2. Looking from the rear of the of the firearm, install two side clamps loosely

into the left side of the top rail body using the supplied screws and a Torx 10
key. Ensure that the rounded receiver rail surfaces on
the left side of the receiver are matched with the
notched edge of the side clamps (with the square edge
pointing down):

3. Install two side clamps loosely into the right side of the rail body. Ensure

that the square receiver rail surfaces on the right side of the receiver are
matched with the square edge of the side clamps (with
the notched edge pointing down):

4. Seat the top rail onto the receiver

5. Tighten the four side clamps in an alternating fashion while ensuring that

the top rail is level and not canted to either side. Do not Torque past 17
in/lbs (2 Nm)

6. Let the Loctite® harden before use
