Feature

How to Use

• First connect the DC adaptor to unit then plug into outlet

• Ensure water tank is properly in place

• Switch power switch ON ("-" position). Both power and UV indicator
will light up. Unit begins to dehumidify.

• To stop the unit, switch power switch OFF ("o" position).

UV & Tie2 Light

• UV light automatically turns on when unit is powered on.

• If unit is on but UV light is not, then the bulb has gone out and needs
to be replaced.

1. Turn off unit and unplug from power source. Remove the 6 screws
as circled.

2. Disconnect connectors on both sides of the bulb (encased in white
rubber). Bulb is held in place by two clips (as indicated by arrows).

3. Gentlypryopenonesideofeitherclipwithfingertip.

4. Liftupbulb.

Toreplacenewbulb:

• Gentlypryopenclipsandcarefullyinsertbulbinplace.

• Connecttheconnectorsonbothends.

• Replacebackcoverandthe6screws.

Water Removal

1.Using the water tank
When water tank is full, unit will automatically shut-off and the red

water full indicator will illuminate. To empty water from the tank, first
turn the unit off. While holding the top of the unit firmly with one hand,

gently pull and remove water tank with the other hand. Empty the
water and replace the water tank. If the water tank is not replaced

properly, the red LED light will stay on.

2.Continuous drainage
Remove the rubber plug from inside the water tank and connect the

water pipe (included) to the drain spout. Once water level inside the
tank rises above the drain spout, water will begin to flow out the pipe.

Water pipe is approx. 39" long with 5/16" inner diameter.

• Do not spray water directly onto the unit or adaptor

• Do not allow water to drip onto internal parts

• Do not use petrol, benzene or any chemicals to clean the unit, which
will damage the surface.

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Turn the unit off and unplug from main socket before cleaning or
maintenance.

• Use a soft and slightly damp cloth to wipe off the surface.

• The air inlet can be cleaned with vacuum and brush attachment or
compressed air.

Your Guarantee

If this product is found to be faulty as a result of faulty materials or
workmanship within one year from date of purchase, it will be repaired

free of charge.

This guarantee is subject to the following terms:

• Sunpentown must be notified of the fault

• Proof of purchase must be presented to Sunpentown's
nominated representative

• The warranty will be void if the product if modified, misused or
repaired by an unauthorized person

• The warranty after repair will not be extended beyond the original
one-year period

• All replacement parts will be new or reconditioned

• Parts, which are replaced, become the property of Sunpentown

• The warranty applies for the use of the product in the USA only

What is NOT COVERED:

Warranty does not include freight charges
Incidental or consequential damage caused by possible defects

with this product
Damage to product caused by improper power supply voltage,

accident, fire, floods or acts of nature
Failure of product resulting from unauthorized modifications to

the product
Improper installation or failure to perform the necessary

maintenance
