Activate Your Device
Charge the Battery
Your device’s battery should have enough charge to
get started, but it’s a good idea to charge it fully
before you get going. Insert the USB cable into the
charging head. Insert the small end of the USB cable
into the charger/accessory jack at the top of the tablet
and plug the charging head into an electrical outlet.
Before turning on your device:
If you purchased your device at a Sprint
Store, it is probably activated and ready
to use.
If you received your device in the mail, and
it is for a new Sprint account or a new line
of service, your device is designed to
activate automatically when you irst turn
it on. You will see a Hands Free Activation
screen at startup. When it’s inished, tap
OK to continue. To conirm your activation,
launch the Web browser.
If you received your device in the mail and
it is going to be activated on an existing
number (you’re swapping devices), go
to sprint.com/activate and follow the
instructions. When you have inished,
launch the Web browser to conirm
your activation.
If your device is still not activated, visit
sprint.com/support for assistance. If you do not
have access to the Internet, call Sprint Customer
Service at 1-888-211-4727 from another phone.

Set Up Your Device
Complete the Setup Screens
The device’s setup screens will guide you through
the setup process. Follow the prompts to:
• Set up a Wi-Fi® connection.
• Sign in to (or set up) a Google® Account.
• Transfer or restore content.
• Protect your phone by setting a screen lock.
• Personalize your device.
When setup is inished, you’ll see your device’s
home screen.
Press and hold the
Power/Lock Button and
then review the TalkBack
navigation screen, or
tap NEXT to bypass.
Select a language,
tap NEXT, and then
follow the prompts
to complete the
setup screens.

When you see a notiication icon on the left side of
the status bar, drag the status bar down to display
the notiication panel. Tap a notiication to open it.

1. Tap > > Settings > Accounts.
2. Tap Add account and then select an account type.
3. Follow the prompts to enter your
account information.
Important: Before setting up a Microsoft®
Exchange ActiveSync® account, contact your
company’s Exchange Server administrator for
required sign-in information.
Note: The Accounts screen will show any accounts that
have already been set up, including Google Accounts
that may have been conigured during setup.

Google Play
Google Play is the place to go to ind new apps,
games, movies, and more.
Use Google Play for Downloads
1. Tap > > Play Store .
2. The irst time you visit the Google Play Store app,
tap Accept to accept the Terms of Service.
3. Browse through featured apps and games, or
tap the Google Play search bar to start a search.
4. Tap an item to read a description and reviews.
5. Tap INSTALL (for free apps) or the price (for paid
applications) and follow the onscreen prompts.
Note: You must have a Google Account set up on
your tablet to purchase and download apps from
the Google Play store.
