SLS SERIES ACCESSORIES

Installation Instructions

GENERAL SAFETY WARNING!

The SLS Series Accessories outlined below have been designed for quick and easy
installation. To ensure a safe and trouble free assembly, please follow the steps exactly as
listed for each accessory.

CAUTION!

Always disconnect fixture from circuit before installing these accessories or servicing
fixture in any way.

NOTE:

SLS-SPC Polycarbonate Shield:
(Cannot be used with SLS-V2 visor)

The SLS-SPC polycarbonate shield assembly was designed to be
attached to the door of the SLS Series fixture. Please note that the
protective, adhesive-backed paper covering must be removed from
the lens prior to installation.

1. Slightly loosen the (4) fasteners that hold the polycarbonate lens o the
ring assembly.

2. With slight inward pressure, compress shield ring enough to allow the
insertion of ring flange under the lens ring which extends out over the

glass lens.

3. Insert #10-24x
install nut loosely.

4. Exert outward pressure on the shield ring to ensure that the flange is
fully seated under lens ring and securely tighten the screw and nut.

5. Securely tighten the (4) lens fasteners.

SLSC Safety Cable

(Cannot be used with SLS-V2 visor)
The SLSC safety cable was designed to allow maximum aiming

flexibility for your SLS Series fixture. Install the cable AFTER the
fixture has been aimed.

1. When connecting the cable to the fixture housing, wrap the cable
around the crossarm as many times as necessary to remove all slack.
Be sure to install the supplied bolt and washer as shown.

2. To ensure that fixtures mounted at the ends of the crossarm are secure,
the installer must drill a 7⁄8 ” diameter hold in the crossarm and pass the
safety cable through the hole as shown.
