Seperates the hot and neutral
conductors of power cords when testing
the AC amperage draw of light duty
machinery, power tools, household
appliances and lamps.
InstructIons
1. Plug line splitter into AC outlet.
2. Plug appliance power cord into
line splitter.
3. Set clamp meter function switch to
highest amperage setting.
4.Turn on power to the appliance
being tested.
5. Clamp meter around line splitter
"X1" opening for a direct reading
(usually used on high amperage
circuits) or "X10" opening for low
amperage circuits which require
greater sensitivity for accurate
measurements.
It may be necessary to set clamp
meter function switch to a lower
amperage range for a more accurate
reading.
Unit also features built-in receptacles
for voltage requirements.
