Installation Instructions for
Fendall Pure Flow 1000® Protective Cover
Protective Cover Installed
Caution: When installing the protective cover take care not to
accidently activate unit.
Under

Cross
straps
1. With the split in protective cover facing rear of Fendall Pure Flow,
slide cover over top and front of eyewash unit.
Make sure that the area of the cover directly above the cutout
for the activation door, is behind the activation door.
2. Tuck the sides of cover, where cover is split in rear, behind the back
of the unit on either side so that the seams meet approximately in the
center of the rear of the unit.
3. Bring door flap up to cover activation door. Slide the center tab at the
top of the door flap under the handle of the activation door and secure
the velcro strip. Secure the velcro strips on either side of the door flap.
4. On the rear of the unit, cross the top straps and bring each end of the
top strap around the front of the unit. Do not twist straps.
Insert the free end of the strap through the plastic buckle, double over
and secure velcro.
5. Repeat Step #4 for the bottom strap.

Precaución: Al instalar la cubierta protectora tenga cuidado de no activar
por accidente la unidad.

1. Teniendo la abertura de la cubierta protectora Fendall Pure Flow hacia
la parte trasera, ponga dicha cubierta por las partes superior y frontal
de la unidad para el lavado de los ojos. Asegúrese de que el área de la
cubierta situada directamente arriba del corte destinado a la puerta de
activación esté detrás de dicha puerta.
2. Acomode los lados de la cubierta, en la parte trasera donde está la
abertura, a cada lado detrás de la parte trasera de la unidad de
manera que las costuras se encuentren aproximadamente en el centro.
3. Suba la solapa para cubrir la puerta de activación. Coloque la pestaña
central situada en la parte superior de la solapa bajo el asa de la
puerta de activación y asegúrela con la tira de velcro. Asegure las tiras
de velcro a cada lado de la solapa.
4. En la parte trasera de la unidad cruce las tiras superiores y pase los
extremos de las mismas alrededor de la parte frontal de la unidad. No
tuerza las tiras. Introduzca el extremo libre de la tira a través de la
hebilla de plástico, dóblela y asegúrela con el velcro.
5. Repita el paso 4 para la tira inferior.
