Before connecting the gateway, switch off PIN code protection for the SIM card.
Power adapter is intended for a 220 V network.
Normal functioning of the GSM Gateway is guaranteed only if the factory parts are used. The usage of other parts may lead to gateway failure or damage. For example, if a standard small aerial is used in a low signal area, there might be poor signal reception or noise in the sound.
Attention! Before inserting or extracting the SIM card, switch off the gateway to avoid causing SIM card or gateway malfunction.
Attention! If the power source needs to be replaced, stabilized DC power units, voltage 5 V, current no less than 1 A can be used. Polarity observance is required(central connection outlet should be marked with "+").
6.2. Outgoing call
1. Lift the receiver and wait for a continuous tone.
2. Dial the user's number.
– For speed dialing press the # key after the last number.
– To dial a preprogrammed number enter "cell number #".
– To redial enter "* #".
– To dial the last incoming call enter "* * #".
– If the autodial function is enabled, after the receiver is lifted, the countdown of the programmed time begins. Dialing any number during the allowed pause cancels this mode and makes a standard outgoing call.
3. If the call receiver is unavailable, you will hear a call signal.
4. To end a call, hang up the receiver.
6.3. Gateway setup
All gateway settings by default have values that satisfy the requirements of most users.
Settings can be changed with the telephone set to tone mode.
1. Lift the receiver and wait for a continuous tone.
2. Dial "*505*505#".
3. After dialing, you will arrive at the gateway settings voice
menu. (Table 6.1).
4. Gateway numerical values are set using the units of measurement specified in the settings descriptions. To confirm a setting press "#". The settings are automatically saved after exiting the settings menu.
5. To move up one level and to cancel press "*". To exit the settings mode, hang up the receiver and press "*" in the main menu.

3. Enter number for which you need balance data.
4. Wait for the SMS message to be delivered to the specified telephone number.
Attention! For a balance request, the GSM Gateway uses SMS delivery to the mobile phone number. To ensure correct functioning, you need to have money on the account and the ability to send SMS messages.
6.5. Call forwarding with gateway disabled
To enable call forwarding when the gateway is disabled, before disconnecting it from network, dial the number "*808#". To cancel the function dial "*808#".

Noise, voice
interruption
1. The GSM aerial is
too close to the gateway or analogue telephone wires (lines).
2. Low signal reception.
3. Malfunctioning of microphone/loudspea ker of user's
telephone.
1. Fix the aerial at a distance from
the gateway and telephone wires (lines).
2. Check signal level using the Net LED indicator. Connect the aerial. Move the aerial to an area with better reception.
3. Replace the user's telephone.
8. Safety Instructions
Pay special attention to the safety instructions below:
– prevent dust, dirt and litter from coming in contact with the gateway
connectors;
– avoid mechanical impacts on the gateway, which can damage it;
– do not allow liquids to spill on the gateway; do not attempt to
disassemble the gateway on your own;
do not touch the contacts of the telephone connector with your fingers or
metal objects. This could cause a shock hazard or a gateway malfunction;
– use the power unit from the package; If the power unit from the package
cannot be used, use power units with rated characteristics only, and observe the polarity – the central connection outlet should be marked with a "+";
– disconnect the power unit from the network when the gateway is not in
use; do not connect the power unit to the network if it is damaged; do not use the gateway in humid conditions, in which relative air humidity is over 85% with no sudden temperature changes, or over 60% with sudden temperature changes (more than 20 °С per hour).
Failure to follow the requirements above may cause product
malfunction.
9. Storage and Transportation
GSM gateways should be kept in their factory packaging in an enclosed
space within a temperature range from -50 °С to +50 °С, and a relative humidity of up to 90%.
9
There should be no acidic, alkali or aggressive gas vapours or other
harmful impurities that may cause corrosion in the storage room.
Transportation should be performed in tightly closed cartons in any type
of closed vehicle.
Avoid contact with liquids during transportation and storage.
