LSx Fabricated Oil Pan
Thank you for purchasing our ATS LSx Muscle Car Oil Pan. Although we clean out the inside of our pans
before packaging, we recommend that you clean out the inside of the pan again using solvent and/ or
compressed air before installing to remove any particulates left behind from shipping. Be sure to take
proper safety precautions when cleaning.
To install, rst install stainless studs into block with blue thread lock. Apply 1/4” bead of silicone at each
of the 4 joints where the block meets the front and rear covers. Install a new pan gasket and the pan,
aligning pan so it is ush with the rear of the block. If it protrudes past the rear of the block it will cause
clearance issues with the transmission. Apply anti seize to studs and torque down stainless nuts in a
crisscross pattern, working from the center outward. Torque 8 mm studs to 18 FOOT lbs. and the two
rear 6 mm studs to 104 INCH lbs. Attach hose ttings as shown below .
