After the machine has been properly installed, the hard limit switch gap must be measured before conducting the
Control Function Test. Locate the gap found between the end of the extension on the switch and the inside wall of
the A-frame. See Figure 1. To check the gap setting of the switch, proceed as follows:

1. Remove the rear panel of the ma chine. The switc h can be seen in side the bott om right cor ner of th e A-fr ame,
mounted on a bracket. See Figure 1.

2. Measure the gap distance whe n the swi tch is in both t he open and closed positi ons. The sp ecifi cati ons shoul d
be 0.009 inch when the switch is open and 0.011 inch when the switch is closed. If these distances are not
correct, adjust the balance switch to these specifications.

NOTE: The standard position of the switch is open, or non-tripped.

3. Tighten nuts on switch extension after adjusting the gap. Measure the gap distance to verify accurate setting.
