Anschluss

Einlegen der Batterien
Öffnen Sie das Batterie-Fach auf der Unterseite
des Geräts. Legen Sie die beiliegenden Batterien
gemäß der im Fach eingeprägten Zeichnung ein.

Verbindung herstellen

Nehmen Sie den USB-Empfänger aus der
Vertiefung an der Unterseite des Geräts.

Verbinden Sie ihn mit einer freien USB­Schnittstelle Ihres PCs.

• Windows® 98 SE/ME

Das System fragt jetzt nach der System-Software.
Folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm.

• Windows® 2000/XP/Vista

Der PC erkennt den USB-Empfänger automatisch.
Folgen Sie gegebenenfalls den Anweisungen auf
dem Bildschirm.

• Mac OS X

Der Macintosh Computer erkennt den USB­Empfänger automatisch. Dabei öffnet sich der
Tastatur-Assistent, den Sie allerdings nicht
brauchen.

Funktionen

Der Laser Pointer
Drücken Sie die Fn und die On/Off-Taste an der
Seite des Geräts gleichzeitig. Warten Sie drei
Sekunden bis die Leuchte auf der Oberseite rot
blinkt. Mit der Laser-Taste können Sie den Laser
bedienen. Sie schalten den Laser aus, indem Sie
den Vorgang wiederholen.

Hinweis: An der Seite des Presenter Professional
sind drei Zeilen in unterschiedlicher Farbe
aufgedruckt.

Fn + On/Off

• Drücken Sie gleichzeitig Fn und On/Off bis die Status-Leuchte rot blinkt. Der
Laser ist jetzt einsatzbereit.

• Drücken Sie die Laser-Taste, um den Laser zu bedienen.

Fn + Alt+Tab

• Halten Sie Fn gedrückt, dann öffnet sich der Ordner Benutzte Dokumente.

Mit der ALT+Tab-Taste können Sie ein Dokument auswählen. Lassen Sie

nun beide Tasten los, öffnet sich das gewünschte Dokument. Wiederholen
Sie den Vorgang, um zu PowerPoint zurückzukehren.

Fn + Link

• Falls die Verbindung zwischen USB-Empfänger und Gerät gestört sein
sollte, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Betätigen Sie die ID-Taste auf dem USB­ Empfänger und anschließend die Link-Taste. Jetzt ist der Presenter wieder
aktiv.

Fn + linke Maus­taste

• Wenn Sie Fn und die linke Maustaste gleichzeitig drücken, holen sie den PC­ Schreibtisch in den Vordergrund.

• Drücken Sie die linke Maustaste, um zu PowerPoint® zurückzukehren.

Fn + rechte Maus-

taste

• Fn und die rechte Maustaste kehrt die vorherige Funktion um: Alle Hinter
grund programme werden geöffnet.

• Drücken Sie die rechte Maustaste, um zu PowerPoint® zurückzukehren.

Problemlösungen

Benötige ich einen Treiber?

Nein. Der Presenter Professional funktioniert
sofort nach Einstecken des Empfängers.

Muss ich den Empfänger auf das Gerät
einstellen?

Nein. Die Funktionen sind sofort nach Anschluss
des Empfängers aktiv.

Kann ich mehrere Presenter in einem Raum
gleichzeitig benutzen?

Ja. Dazu sollten Sie den Empfänger auf das Gerät
einstellen. Drücken Sie dazu die ID-Taste auf dem
Empfänger und daraufhin die Link-Taste.

Der Laser funktioniert nicht.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass sie im
PowerPoint®-Modus sind.

• Versuchen Sie den Laser wie oben
beschrieben, einzuschalten.

• Wechseln sie gegebenenfalls die Batterien.

Die Fernbedienung reagiert nicht.

• Versichern Sie sich, dass der Presenter
in der PowerPoint®-Funktion ist. Im
Multimedia-Modus ist der Mauszeiger nicht
aktiviert.

• Stellen Sie den Empfänger auf den
Presenter ein. Drücken Sie dazu die ID­Taste auf dem Empfänger und daraufhin die
Link-Taste.

• Wechseln sie gegebenenfalls die Batterien.

Connecting

Inserting the batteries
Open the battery cover on the underside of
the device. Insert the accompanying batteries
according to the polarity diagram embossed in the
battery compartment.

Establishing a Connection
Remove the USB receiver from the recess on the
underside of the device.

Plug the receiver into a free USB port on your PC.

• Windows 98 SE/ME

The system will now prompt you for the system
software. Follow the on-screen instructions.

• Windows 2000/XP/Vista

The PC will automatically detect the USB receiver.
If applicable, follow the on-screen instructions.

• Mac OS X

The Mac computer will automatically detect the
USB receiver. The keyboard assistant will open
at the same time however you do not need to use
this.

Functions

The laser pointer:

Simultaneously press the Fn and the On/Off

buttons on the side of the device. Wait three
seconds until the light on the top side of the

device ashes red. You can operate the laser

by pressing the Laser button. The laser can be
switched off by repeating this procedure.

Note: You will nd three differently coloured

lines imprinted on the side of the Presenter
Professional.

• Simultaneously press Fn and Laser until the light on the top side ashes red.

• Press the Laser button to operate the laser.

• Thanks to the safety function, the laser will automatically switch off after 30

minutes.

Up • Show the previous PowerPoint® slide.

• Start the presentation. (Only under Windows®)

• Keeping the button pressed for three seconds ends the presentation.

Down • Show the next PowerPoint® slide.

Mode Indicator

• Not ashing: PowerPoint presentations / normal and special.

• Flashing green: Multimedia function.

• Flashing red: Laser is activated.

Fn

• Switch to multimedia mode: Press Fn for one second, the status light will light up

and subsequently ash green.

• Switch to PowerPoint® mode: Press Fn until the status light stops ashing.

Fn + On/Off

• Simultaneously press Fn and On/Off until the status light ashes red. The

laser is now ready to use.

• Press the Laser button to operate the laser.

Fn + Alt+Tab

• Keeping Fn pressed opens up the folder Used Documents. Using the

ALT+Tab buttons you can select a document. Releasing both buttons opens

up the desired document. Repeat the procedure to return to PowerPoint.

Fn + Link

• If the connection between the USB receiver and the device should drop,
proceed as follows:
Press the ID button on the USB receiver and then the Link button. The
Presenter will now be active again.

Fn + left mouse

button

• If you simultaneously press the Fn and the left mouse button you will bring
your PC desktop to the foreground.

• Press the left mouse button in order to return to PowerPoint®

Fn + right mouse

button

• Fn and the right mouse button returns to the previous function: All
background programmes will be opened.

• Press the right mouse button in order to return to PowerPoint®.

• Press Media in order to open Windows® Media Player
Note: This function is only support by Windows® Me and XP.

Vol+ • Press the scroll wheel upwards to raise the volume.

Vol- • Press the scroll wheel downwards to lower the volume.

Mute • Switches the sound on and off.

• Windows® Media Player: Next Chapter

• Windows® Media Player: Previous Chapter

• Calls up the desktop: All applications are sent to the background.
Repeated pressing activates the application you last used.

• Switch between play and pause in your Media Player application.

• Keep the button pressed in for two seconds in order to end the lm or music.

Fn • Switch to the different functions. (PowerPoint® or multimedia)

Note: The Presenter Professional automatically switches to PowerPoint® mode after two hours if the
device is not used.

Problem Solving

Do I need a driver?

No. Presenter Professional will work as soon as
you have plugged in the receiver.

Do I need to congure the receiver on the

device?

No. The functions will be active as soon as you
have plugged in the receiver.

Can I use multiple Presenters in the same
room at the same time?

Yes. You should pair the receiver to the device in

order to do this. To do that, press the ID button
on the receiver and then the Link button.

The laser doesn’t work.

• Make sure you are in PowerPoint® mode.

• Try and switch on the laser as described
above.

• If needed, change the batteries.

The remote control doesn’t respond.

• Make sure that the Presenter is in Power

­Point® mode. The mouse pointer is not
activated in multimedia mode.

• Pair the receiver to the Presenter. To do
that, press the ID button on the receiver and
then the Link button.

• If needed, change the batteries.

Raccordement

Mise en place des piles
Ouvrez le compartiment à piles sur la face
inférieure de l’appareil. Insérez les piles fournies
conformément au dessin qui se trouve dans le
compartiment à piles.

Établir la liaison

Prenez le récepteur USB qui se trouve dans le
renfoncement sur la face inférieure de l’appareil.

Reliez-le à une prise USB libre de votre
ordinateur.

• Windows 98 SE/ME

Le système cherche le logiciel. Suivez les

instructions qui s’afchent à l’écran.

• Windows 2000/XP/Vista

L’ordinateur reconnaît automatiquement le
récepteur USB. Suivez au besoin les instructions

qui s’afchent à l’écran.

• Mac OS X

L’ordinateur Macintosh reconnaît
automatiquement le récepteur USB. Il ouvre
toutefois l’assistant Clavier dont vous n’avez pas
besoin.

Fonctions

Le pointeur laser
Appuyez simultanément sur la touche Fn et

On/Off sur le côté de l’appareil. Attendez trois

secondes que la lumière rouge sur le dessus
clignote. La touche Laser vous permet de
commander le laser. Répétez la manipulation pour
éteindre le laser.

Remarque : trois lignes de différente couleur sont
imprimées sur le côté du Presenter Professional.

• Appuyez simultanément sur Fn et On/Off jusqu’à ce que le voyant d’état

rouge se mette à clignoter. Le laser est prêt à l’emploi.

• Appuyez sur la touche Laser pour commander le laser.

Fn + Alt+Tab

• Lorsque vous maintenez la touche Fn enfoncée, cela ouvre le dossier
Documents utilisés. Vous pouvez alors sélectionner un document à l’aide

des touches ALT+Tab. Lorsque vous relâchez les deux touches, le document

de votre choix s’ouvre. Répétez l’opération pour revenir à PowerPoint.

Fn + Link

• Si la liaison entre le récepteur USB et l’appareil est perturbée, procédez
comme suit : appuyez sur la touche ID sur le récepteur USB, puis sur la
touche Link. Le Presenter est réactivé.

Fn + bouton

Ai-je besoin d’un pilote ?

Non. Le Presenter Professional fonctionne
immédiatement dès que vous insérez le
récepteur.

Est-ce que je dois régler le récepteur sur
l’appareil ?

Non. Les fonctions sont immédiatement activées
dès raccordement du récepteur.

Puis-je utiliser plusieurs Presenters dans une
même pièce ?

Oui. Le récepteur doit être pour cela réglé
sur l’appareil. Appuyez sur la touche ID sur le
récepteur, puis sur la touche Link.

Le laser ne fonctionne pas.

• Vériez que vous êtes bien en mode Power

Point®.

• Essayez d’allumer le laser comme indiqué

Conexión

Cómo colocar las pilas
Retira la tapa del compartimento de pilas que
está debajo del mando. Coloca las pilas adjuntas
según viene indicado en el compartimento.

Establecer contacto

Saca el receptor USB del hueco situado en la
parte inferior del aparato.
Conéctalo a un puerto USB que esté libre en tu
ordenador.

• Windows 98 SE/ME

El sistema operativo te pregunta por el software
del sistema. Sigue las instrucciones que aparecen
en pantalla.

• Windows 2000/XP/Vista

El ordenador detectará el receptor USB de forma
automática. Sigue las instrucciones que aparecen
en pantalla, si las pide.

• Mac OS X

El ordenador tipo Macintosh detecta el receptor
USB automáticamente. Se abre el asistente del
teclado aunque no lo necesitas.

Funciones

Puntero Láser

Pulsa al mismo tiempo el botón Fn y el On/Off en

el lateral del mando. Espera tres segundos hasta
que parpadee la iluminación en rojo de la parte
de arriba. Con el botón Láser puedes manejar el
mando a voluntad. Para desconectar el láser sólo
precisas repetir esta secuencia.

Aviso: En la parte lateral del Presenter
Professional se encuentran impresas tres rayas
en distintos colores.

• Mantén pulsado Fn, se abre la carpeta Documentos utilizados. Con
ALT+Tab podrás seleccionar un documento. Al soltar los dos botones se
abre el documento que quieres editar. Repite esta secuencia para volver a

Fn + Link

• Si la conexión entre el receptor USB y el aparato no se establece, procede

Soluciones a problemas

¿Precisas de un controlador?

No. El Presenter Professional funciona
inmediatamente después de conectar el receptor.

¿Tengo que instalar el receptor en el mando?

No. Las funciones están activadas ya en cuanto
conectas el receptor.

¿Puedo utilizar varios Presenter en una misma
sala al mismo tiempo?

Sí. Para ello hay que instalar el receptor en el
aparato. Pulsa entonces el botón ID en el receptor
y a continuación el botón Link.

El láser no funciona.

• Ten en cuenta que tiene que estar en modo
PowerPoint®.

• Intenta activar el láser tal y como se ha
descrito anteriormente.

• Cambia si fuera el caso las pilas.

El mando a distancia no responde.

• Asegúrate de que el Presenter esté en la
función PowerPoint®. EEn modo multime­dia no se encuentra activado el puntero del
ratón.

• Ajusta el receptor al Presenter. Pulsa para
ello el botón ID del receptor y a continuaci­ón el botón Link.

• Cambia en caso necesario las pilas.

Fn + On/Off

• Premere contemporaneamente Fn e On/Off no a quando l’indicatore di

stato lampeggi rosso. Il laser ora è pronto per l’uso.

• Premere il tasto Laser per comandare il laser.

Fn + Alt+Tab

• Tenendo premuto Fn si apre la cartella Documenti utilizzati.Con il tasto

ALT+Tab può essere selezionato un documento. Lasciando i due tasti si

apre il documento selezionato. Ripetere la procedura per tornare a
PowerPoint®.

Fn + Link

• Nel caso la connessione tra ricevitore USB e dispositivo sia disturbato,
procedere come segue: azionare il tasto ID sul ricevitore USB e poi il tasto
Link. Ora il Presenter è nuovamente attivo.

Fn + tasto sinistro

del mouse

• Quando Fn ed il tasto sinistro del mouse vengono premuti
contemporaneamente, il Desktop viene portato in primo piano.

• Premere il tasto sinistro del mouse per tornare a PowerPoint®.

Fn + tasto destro

del mouse

• Fn e il tasto destro del mouse invertono la funzione precedente: vengono
aperti tutti i programmi di background.

• Azionare Media per aprire il Windows® Media Player.

Occorre un driver?

No. Il Presenter Professional funziona subito dopo
aver collegato il ricevitore.

Devo sintonizzare il ricevitore sul dispositivo?

No. Le funzioni saranno attive immediatamente
dopo aver collegato il ricevitore.

Posso utilizzare più Presenter.
contemporaneamente nella stessa stanza?
Sì. A tale scopo il ricevitore dovrà essere
sintonizzato sul dispositivo. Premere il tasto ID sul
ricevitore e poi il tasto Link.

Il laser non funziona.

• Accertarsi di essere in modalità Power­Point®.

• Cercare di attivare il laser come descritto
sopra.

• All’occorrenza sostituire le batterie.

Il telecomando non reagisce.

• Accertarsi che il Presenter sia in funzione
PowerPoint®. In modalità Multimedia il
puntatore del mouse non è attivato.

• Sintonizzare il ricevitore sul Presenter. Pre­mere il tasto ID sul ricevitore e poi il tasto
Link.

• All’occorrenza sostituire le batterie.
