SPC40RT 6 ½” x 11” PA Horn Speaker
Thank you for your choice of Speco Technologies’ SPC40RT PA Horn Speaker. This unit is designed and
manufactured to provide a sturdy option for sound projection in loud or long-distance environments. The durable,
weather-resistant construction ensures long-life outdoors, but the unit is well-suited for indoor or mobile use.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) The SPC40RT is constructed with a pivoting, cast-iron base.
2) There are two wingnuts (A & B below). The one on the base (A) allows for 360° rotation from the mounting point.
The one closer to the horn (B), when loosened, allows vertical rotation of the horn to better direct sound.
3) With a screwdriver, loosen the screws on the sides of the unit (C) if you wish to rotate the horn between vertical and
horizontal positions. Tighten the screw securely when the desired position is reached.
4) The base contains 3 holes for screws. Use screws with greater than 1/4” diameter head to ensure safe installation.
Screw the base to the mounting surface where you wish to install the horn. Ensure the surface can handle the weight
of the horn. SPECO TECHNOLOGIES IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES OR INJURIES FROM IMPROPERLY INSTALLED
EQUIPMENT.
5) Reattach base to the horn (A), rotate the horn to your desired angle (B) and tighten the wingnut securely.
6) As an alternative mounting method for specialty applications, the horn also comes with 4 built-in screw holes on the
top and bottom of the horn casing.
7) Connect the White with Red Stripe (positive) & White only (negative/ground) wires to the corresponding 70V or 25V
outputs on your amplifier.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:
We warranty this product to be free from any manufacturing or material defects for two (2) years from the date of purchase.
This warranty will not extend to any products which have been subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation, used in violation
of instructions furnished by us; or to units which have been repaired or altered outside of the factory. This limited warranty does not apply to
broken cases, batteries, or other physically damaged parts. If a Speco Technologies product is purchased from an unauthorized distributor or
other source, including RETAILERS, MAIL ORDER SELLERS and ONLINE SELLERS, it will not be honored or serviced under existing Speco
Technologies warranty policy. Any sale of products by an unauthorized source or other manner not authorized by Speco Technologies will void
the warranty on the applicable product.
Upon request by customer, Speco Technologies (“The Company”) will, at customer's expense, repackage merchandise in new cartons, replace
missing accessories, and return in resalable condition. Unless requested, the company will replace and return all merchandise in the packaging
in which it was received. This warranty is in lieu of all expressed warranties, expressed or implied, and of all obligations or liability on our part,
and we neither assume nor authorize any representative or other person to assume for us any obligation or liability. In no event shall we be
liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, or for any delay in the use of this product due to causes
beyond our control. Some states do not allow limitations of how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of consequential damages. The above limitations on implied warranty and consequential damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives
you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state. This limited warranty extends to products listed in the
company's current price schedule.
