Thank you for your choice of Speco Technologies’ SMSM4I1B6/W6 Corner-Mount Speakers. These units are designed and manufactured to
provide a versatile and innovatively-mounted speaker for low-level background music and paging. The speaker is uniquely designed so that
multiple units can be combined to offer a variety mounting options.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1) These speakers are designed for indoor use only. Protect them against water drips and splashes, high humidity and excessive heat.

2) To clean, only use a dry, soft cloth. Never use water or chemicals.

Speco Technologies is not liable for the speakers nor any claims resulting from personal damage or material damage if the speakers are used
for purposes other than originally intended or installed incorrectly or in an unsafe manner by non-qualified personnel. Circumstances in
which Speco Technologies is not liable include installer error, poor mounting, improper supports, incorrect connections, etc. Installation of
the speaker indicates acknowledgement and agreement to these terms.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Each speaker includes one bracket. Depending on the alignment of the speaker, fix the bracket with two short screws to the desired
side of the speaker.

2) Make sure that no cables run in the wall or ceiling to avoid damage when drilling installation holes.

3) Place the supplied drilling template at the mounting area and mark the drill hole. Drill the hole and turn the long screw with the
matching dowel into the hole so that the head protrudes approximately .15” to .25” (4 to 6 mm).

4) Connect the speaker cables to the terminals (red = (+) and black = (-)). When connecting several speakers, be sure to correctly wire
subsequent speakers. For example, connect red to reds, and black to blacks if using the 70V/25V transformer.

5) Place the speaker with the bracket on the screw head and slide it into the target position. If it is not possible to slide the speaker
completely into position, or if it is too loose, slightly turn the screw further in or out.

6) To connect speakers together in combinations of 2 or 3, utilize the 2nd set of brackets included with each speaker. One speaker
would use the open channel bracker, while the other would use the bracket with the attached mounting head.

7) To mount speakers in a half-circle comprised of 4 speakers for use as a pendant mount, accessory CMPNDKIT must be used. Very
carefully follow the instructions in the kit to safely mount the speakers in this manner.

8) For use with a constant voltage amplifier, toggle the selector switch to the desired 70V or 25V setting.

9) Using a screwdriver, turn the wattage tap to the desired power.

10) To utilize a constant impedance amplifier, turn the wattage tap to the 8 Ohm setting to bypass the transformer.

11) WARNING: Connecting the speaker to an amplifier not designed for the selected input (70V/25V/8 Ohms) can damage both the
speaker and amplifier and voids the warranty.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

We warranty this product to be free from any manufacturing or material defects for five (5) years from the date of purchase.

This warranty will not extend to any products which have been subjected to misuse, neglect, accident, or improper installation, used in violati on of instructions furnished by us; or to units
which have been repaired or altered outside of the factory. This limited warranty does not apply to broken cases, batteries , or other physically damaged parts.

Upon request by the customer, Speco Technologies (“The Company”) will, at the customer's expense, repackage merchandise in new cartons, rep lace missing accessories, and return in
resalable condition. Unless requested, the company will replace and return all merchandise in the packaging in which it was received. This warranty is in lieu of all expressed warranties,
expressed or implied, and of all obligations or liability on our part, and we neither assume nor authorize any representative or other person to assume for us any obligation or liability. In no
event shall we be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, or for any delay in the use of this product due to causes beyond our control. Some states
do not allow limitations of how long an implied warranty lasts and/or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages. The above limitations on implied warranty and
consequential damages may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights which vary from state to state. See actual warranty statement included
with product for limitations and exclusions where applicable. This limited warranty extends to products listed in the company's current price schedule.
