original retail purchaser, within a reaso nable time, freight prepaid.
This war ranty does not include ser vice or part s to repair damage caused by accident, dis aster,
misuse, abuse, negligence, inadequate pack ing or shipping procedures, commercial use, voltage
inputs in excess of the rated maxi mum of the unit, or serv ice, repair or modif ication of the product
which has not been authorized or app roved by SpeakerCraft. This warra nty also excludes normal
cosmetic deterioration cause d by environmental conditions. This warrant y will be void if the Serial
number o n the product has been removed, tampered with or def aced.
This war ranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties. If the product is defective in materials or
workmanship as warranted a bove, the purchaser ’s sole reme dy shall be repair or replacement as
provided above. In no event will SpeakerCraf t be liable for any incidenta l or consequential
damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product, even if SpeakerCraf t Inc. or a
SpeakerCr aft In c. Authorized Dealer has be en advised of the possibility of such damages, or for a ny
claim by any other part y. Some states do not a llow the exclusion o r limitation of consequent ial damages, so t he above limitat ion and e xclusion may not appl y. All implied warranties on the pro duct
are limited to the duration of this expressed warrant y. Some s tates do not allow limitat ion on th e
length of an implied Warranty. If the original retail purchaser resides in such a state, this limitation
does not apply.

and 3.5mm Mono Mini Phone Plug at the other
The PTJ-40 can be used as an extension between components or devices having
a 3.5mm mono mini phone jack at one end and a 3.5mm mono mini phone
plug at the other.
A
typical application is the extension of emitter leads terminated in 3.5mm mini
phone plugs. NOTE: For best IR control performance, emitter lead extensions in
excess of 40' are not recommended.

SpeakerCr aft In c. warrants to the original retail p urchaser o nly that this Spea kerCraf t produc t will be
free from defec ts in materials and workmanship, for a period of 5-yea rs, provided it was purchase d
from a SpeakerCraf t Authorized Dealer.
Defect ive products must be shipped, together wit h proof of purchase, p repaid insured to the
SpeakerCr aft Authorized Dealer f rom whom they were purchase d, or to th e SpeakerCraft factory at
the address listed on this installation ins truction manual. Freight collect shipments will be refused.
It is preferable to ship this p roduct in the original shipping container to lessen the chance of t ransit
damage. In any case, the risk or loss or damage in t ransit is to be borne by the purchaser. If upon
examination at the Factor y or SpeakerCraf t Authorized Dealer it is determined that the unit was
defective in materials or workmanship at any time during this warrant y period, SpeakerCraft or the
SpeakerCr aft Authorized Dealer w ill, at it s option, repair or replace t his product at no additional
charge, except as set forth below. If this model is no longer available and can no t be repaired
effec tively, SpeakerCraf t, at its sole option may replace the unit wi th a current model of equal o r
greater va lue. In some cases where a ne w model is substit uted, a modification to the mounting
surface may be required. If mounting surf ace modif ication is required, SpeakerCraft assumes no
