A regularly scheduled maintenance program should be established to retain optimum light output and reduce heat retention. Dusting with a soft, clean, dry cloth is normally sufficient for the optical system. Any accumulation of dust or dirt should be removed regularly.

Torque Wrench
5/16" Nut Driver

1.) Mounting Preparation (See Fig. 1 & 2)
Remove door by loosening (4) 10-24 captive mounting screws.
Disengage safety tab at front - between opening of door and housing
inside unit.
Disconnect LED wire connector(s).
Set door assembly aside.

2.) Mounting Fixture to Pole (See Fig. 3)
Remove pole cover.
Attach mount plate to pole with (2) 1/2" hex bolts , lockwashers and
flatwashers by installing nut plate inside pole.
Torque 1/2" hex bolts to approx. 45 ft-lbs.
Insert the wires from the fixture through the center hole of the
mount plate pulling them into the pole.

3.) Mounting Fixture to Pole (See Fig. 4 & 5)
Place the Housing over the mount plate while tilting up at
a slight angle above horizontal, and then lower back down to horizontal once oriented on the plate making certain the wires are not pinched. For ease of installation, the mount plate will hold the weight of the fixture prior to tightening the captive hex screw.
Secure with the 1/4-20 captive hex screw already
in the arm of the housing.
Torque 1/4-20 hex screw to approx. 15-20 ft-lbs.

Wiring

(Wiring must be performed by a qualified electrician)
NOTE: This LED unit is equipped with an electronic driver
having universal voltage adaptability and can accept input voltage within the range of 120V - 277V or as a specified option of 347V - 480V.
4.) Wire Connection inside Pole (See Fig. 6)
Wire service leads to fixture leads according to local and
National Electrical Codes.
Wire connection to be made inside pole with fixture wires and
supply wires (By others). Secure wires inside pole.
Connect ground wire to green wire making sure to tie in the
green wire from the Surge Protector, connect black to black and white to neutral. Supply Voltage must match Driver Voltage.
Push wires back inside pole, reinstall pole cover.

5.) Reinstall Door (See Fig. 7)
Hang door in the open position by inserting the door hinge
pin into the slot of the hinge bracket.
Reconnect wire connector(s) to LED's.
Close door and re-attach with (4) 10-24 captive screws.

6.) Mounting Wall Bracket (See Fig. 8)
Using template provided , locate holes in Wall Bracket
around junction box on the wall. Mark hole locations.
Drill wall for the hardware (supplied by others) appropriate for the wall
material type.
Connect extra 16 AWG wire leads (provided) inside the junction box
and pull wires through Wall Bracket.
Use 1/4 diameter bolts (supplied by others) and attach
Wall Bracket to Wall with Nut Plate inside
Apply caulking sealant (supplied by others) around the top
and two sides of the Wall Bracket where it meets the wall.

7.) Mounting Fixture to Wall Bracket (See Fig. 8)
NOTE: For this application the wire connection will be made inside the fixture using the 16 AWG leads (provided). Follow the steps illustrated below.
Remove existing leads and red grommet pulling them inside the
housing (Fig. 9).
Remove existing leads from grommet keeping the red grommet.
Pull 16 AWG wire leads into fixture (Fig. 10).
Simular to the pole mount option, go back and follow steps 2 and 3
in order to install the mount plate and housing.
Thread 16 AWG leads through grommet (Fig. 11).
Strip wires (Fig. 12)
Connect 16 AWG leads to Wago connectors (Fig. 13).
Reinstall the red grommet back into wire entry hole (Fig. 14).
NOTE: Make sure grommet is fully installed to prevent from voiding
the factory warranty (Fig. 15).
Follow same instructions as Steps 1, 2, 3 and 5 to finish installing
the fixture
