I - Introduction

Your new SPARKY power tool will more than satisfy your expectations. It has been manufactured

under stringent SPARKY Quality Standards to meet superior performance criteria. You will nd your

new tool easy and safe to operate, and, with proper care, it will give you many years of dependable service.

Original instructions

The vibration emission level given in this information sheet has been measured in accordance with a standardised test given in EN 60745 and may be used to compare one tool with another. It may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure. The declared vibration emission level represents the main applications of the tool. However if the tool is used for different applications, with different accessories or poorly maintained, the vibration emis-

sion may differ. This may signicantly increase the exposure level over the total working period.

An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration should also take into account the times when the

tool is switched off or when it is running but not actually doing the job. This may signicantly reduce

the exposure level over the total working period. Maintain the power tool and the accessories and keep your hands warm during operation to reduce the harmful effect of vibrations. Other applications such as cutting-off or wire brushing may have different vibration emission values. Dust from material such as paint containing lead, some wood species, minerals and metal may be harmful. Contact with or inhalation of the dust may cause allergic reactions and/or respiratory diseases to the operator or bystanders. Certain kinds of dust are classied as carcinogenic such as oak and beech dust especially in conjunction with additives for wood conditioning (chromate, wood preservative). Material containing asbestos must only be treated by specialists.

▪ Where the use of a dust extraction device is possible it shall be used. ▪ The work place must be well ventilated. ▪ The use of a dust mask of lter class P2 is recommended. Follow national requirements for the materials you want to work with.

III - General power tool safety warnings

WARNING! Read all safety warn-

ings and all instructions. Failure to follow

the warnings and instructions may result in

electric shock, re and/or serious injury.

Save all warnings and instructions for

future reference.

The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or

battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

1) Work area safety

a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Clut-

tered or dark areas invite accidents.

b) Do not operate power tools in explosive

atmospheres, such as in the presence

of ammable liquids, gases or dust.

Power tools create sparks which may ignite

the dust or fumes.

c) Keep children and bystanders away

while operating a power tool. Distrac-

tions can cause you to lose control.

2) Electrical safety

a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet.

Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied

plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk

of electric shock.

b) Avoid body contact with earthed or

grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There

is an increased risk of electric shock if your

body is earthed or grounded.

c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet

conditions. Water entering a power tool

will increase the risk of electric shock.

d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the

cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.

Damaged or entangled cords increase the

risk of electric shock.

e) When operating a power tool outdoors,

use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for out-

door use reduces the risk of electric shock.

f) If operating a power tool in a damp lo-

cation is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply.

Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric

shock.

g) Never use the power tool without the

PRCD delivered with the machine.

h) Always test the PRCD proper function-

ing before you start operation!

3) Personal safety a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing

and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or medication.

A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal

injury.

b) Use personal protective equipment.

Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will re-

duce personal injuries.

c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure

the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your nger

on the switch or energising power tools that

have the switch on invites accidents.

d) Remove any adjusting key or wrench be-

fore turning the power tool on. A wrench

or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal in-

jury.

e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing

and balance at all times. This enables

better control of the power tool in unexpect-

ed situations.

f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose cloth-

ing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.

Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.

The power tool is equipped with a device designed to detect current deviation in the circuit. At the event of such deviation the device disconnects the circuit to protect the operator from electric shock. The machine is coupled to a liquid feed system using aqueous solution from external or internal source, thus ensuring the power tool operation according to its designation.

g) If devices are provided for the connec-

tion of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can

reduce dust-related hazards.

4) Power tool use and care a) Do not force the power tool. Use the cor-

rect power tool for your application. The

correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.

b) Do not use the power tool if the switch

does not turn it on and off. Any power tool

that cannot be controlled with the switch is

dangerous and must be repaired.

c) Disconnect the plug from the power

source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety

measures reduce the risk of starting the

power tool accidentally.

d) Store idle power tools out of the reach

of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.

Power tools are dangerous in the hands of

untrained users.

e) Maintain power tools. Check for mis-

alignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are

caused by poorly maintained power tools.

f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.

Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind

and are easier to control.

g) Use the power tool, accessories and

tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for op-

erations different from those intended could

result in a hazardous situation.

5) Service a) Have your power tool serviced by a

qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure

that the safety of the power tool is main-

tained.

b) The replacement of the plug or the sup-

ply cord shall be always performed by the power tool manufacturer or in authorised service centre.

IV - Wet stone polisher and sander safety warnings

Safety Warnings Common for Grinding, Sanding, Wire Brushing, Polishing or Abrasive Cutting-Off Operations:

а) This power tool is intended to func-

tion as a grinder, sander, wire brush, polisher or cut-off tool. Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and

specications provided with this power

tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed

below may result in electric shock, re and/ or serious injury.

b) Operations such as grinding and abra-

sive cutting, sanding, operation with diamond discs and circular blades are not recommended to be performed with this power tool. Operations for which the

power tool was not designed may create a

hazard and cause personal injury.

c) Do not use accessories which are

not specically designed and recommended by the tool manufacturer. Just

because the accessory can be attached to your power tool, it does not assure safe op-

eration.

d) The rated speed of the accessory must

be at least equal to the maximum speed

marked on the power tool. Accessories running faster than their rated speed can

break and y apart.

e) The outside diameter and the thickness

of your accessory must be within the capacity rating of your power tool. In-

correctly sized accessories cannot be ad-

equately guarded or controlled.

f) The arbour size of wheels, anges,

backing pads or any other accessory must properly t the spindle of the power tool. Accessories with arbour holes that

do not match the mounting hardware of the power tool will run out of balance, vibrate

excessively and may cause loss of control.

g) Do not use a damaged accessory. Be-

fore each use inspect the accessory such as abrasive wheels for chips and cracks, backing pad for cracks, tear or excess wear, wire brush for loose or cracked wires. If power tool or accessory is dropped, inspect for damage or install an undamaged accessory. After

inspecting and installing an accessory, position yourself and bystanders away from the plane of the rotating accessory and run the power tool at maximum noload speed for one minute. Damaged ac-

cessories will normally break apart during

this test time.

h) Wear personal protective equipment.

Depending on application, use face shield, safety goggles or safety glasses. As appropriate, wear dust mask, hearing protectors, gloves and workshop apron capable of stopping small abrasive or workpiece fragments. The eye protection

must be capable of stopping ying debris generated by various operations. The dust mask or respirator must be capable of l-

trating particles generated by your opera-

tion. Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise may cause hearing loss.

i) Keep bystanders a safe distance away

from work area. Anyone entering the work area must wear personal protec-

tive equipment. Fragments of workpiece

or of a broken accessory may y away and cause injury beyond immediate area of operation.

▪ Use clamps or a vice to secure your

work whenever possible.

▪ Do not apply side pressure to stop the

pad rotation after switching the machine off.

▪ Guide the machine towards the proc-

essed material only if the machine is switched on.

j) Position the cord clear of the spinning

accessory. If you lose control, the cord

may be cut or snagged and your hand or arm may be pulled into the spinning acces-

sory.

k) Never lay the power tool down until the

accessory has come to a complete stop.

The spinning accessory may grab the surface and pull the power tool out of your con-

trol.

l) Do not run the power tool while carrying

it at your side. Accidental contact with the

spinning accessory could snag your cloth-

ing, pulling the accessory into your body.

m) Regularly clean the power tool’s air

vents. The motor’s fan will draw the dust

inside the housing and excessive accumulation of powdered metal may cause electri-

cal hazards.

n) Do not operate the power tool near am-

mable materials. Sparks could ignite these

materials.

▪ The tool must be used only for its pre-

scribed purpose. Any use other than those mentioned in this Instruction will be considered a case of misuse. The

user and not the manufacturer shall be li-

able for any damage or injury resulting from such cases of misuse.

▪ The manufacturer shall not be liable for

any changes made to the tool nor for any damage resulting from such changes.

▪ When operating in dusty environment,

the ventilation slots must be kept clean. If it should become necessary to clear

dust, rst disconnect the tool from the

mains supply (use non metallic objects to clean the dust) and avoid damaging internal parts. The power tool will over-

heat under deteriorated cooling due to the

clogged with dust ventilation slots.

▪ Power tools must not be used outdoors

in rainy weather, or in moist environment (after rain) or in close vicinity with

easily ammable liquids and gases. The

working place should be well lit.

Kickback and Related Warnings

Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched or snagged rotating wheel, backing pad, brush or any other accessory. Pinching or snagging causes rapid stalling of the rotating accessory which in turn causes the uncontrolled power tool to be forced in the direction opposite of the accessory’s rotation at the point of the binding. Kickback is the result of power tool misuse and/ or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below.

a) Maintain a rm grip on the power tool

and position your body and arm to allow you to resist kickback forces. Always use auxiliary handle, if provided, for maximum control over kickback or

torque reaction during start-up. The operator can control torque reactions or kickback forces, if proper precautions are

taken.

b) Never place your hand near the rotating

accessory. Accessory may kickback over

your hand.

c) Do not position your body in the area

where power tool will move if kickback occurs. Kickback will propel the tool in di-

rection opposite to the wheel’s movement

at the point of snagging.

d) Use special care when working corners,

sharp edges etc. Avoid bouncing and snagging the accessory. Corners, sharp

edges or bouncing have a tendency to snag the rotating accessory and cause loss

of control or kickback.

Safety Warnings Specic for Polishing

Operations

a) Do not allow any loose portion of the

polishing bonnet or its attachment strings to spin freely. Tuck away or trim any loose attachment strings. Loose and

spinning attachment strings can entangle

your ngers or snag on the workpiece.

Safety Warnings Specic for Wire

Brushing Operations

a) Be aware that wire bristles are thrown

by the brush even during ordinary operation. Do not overstress the wires by applying excessive load to the brush.

The wire bristles can easily penetrate light

clothing and/or skin.

b) If the use of a guard is recommended for

wire brushing, do not allow any interference of the wire wheel or brush with the guard. Wire wheel or brush may expand in

diameter due to work load and centrifugal

forces.

VI - Operation

This power tool is supplied from single-phase alternating current mains only. It is double insulated, but when operated with PRCD the power tool features safety class I according to EN 60745-1 and IEC 60745-1 and MUST NOT be connected to sockets without protective terminals. This power tool is radio suppressed in compliance with EMC Directive 2004/108/EC. Model PMW 1212CE is designed mainly for polishing marble, granite, mosaics and natural material facade cladding, requiring the use of liquid feed system. After processing with appropriate accessories the surface becomes smooth and bright.

Model СMW 1212CE is designed mainly for cleaning stone clad facades and oors by means of brushes and FIBRAT pads requiring the use

of liquid feed system. This power toll is not designed for CUTTING or

SANDING!

WARNING: Using this power tool with

accessories differing from the described herewith may cause accidents during operation. The possibility to connect an operating tool does not mean the machine is designed to be used with it. Using this power tool with accessories differing from the described herewith and all risks for your health resulting from such use are en-

tirely on YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY!

WARNING: Always connect this

power tool to a socket with protective neutral. Connecting the power tool to a socket without protective neutral will cause risks for your health and it is on your responsibility.

WARNING: Never use the power

tool without the PRCD delivered with the machine!

WARNING: Always test the PRCD

proper functioning before you start operation! In case the PRCD does not function properly do not start operating the power tool; but contact the nearest authorised service centre!

WARNING: Prior to connecting the

power tool to the liquid feed system always check the hoses and other critical parts which may be damaged!

WARNING: When connecting to the

liquid feed system never use a source with operating liquid pressure greater than the

maximum stated in the specications of this

manual!

ANY USE OF THE POWER TOOL OTHER THAN THE DESCRIBED HERWITH AS WELL AS ALL DERIVING RISKS FOR YOUR HEALTH SHALL BE ENTIRELY ON YOUR OWN RESPONSIBILITY!

PRIOR TO INITIAL OPERATION

▪ Make sure the power supply voltage corre-

sponds to the value indicated on the name plate with technical data of the tool.

▪ Check that the supply socket is connected to

the protective neutral.

▪ Check the pressure of the liquid feed system

source. It shall be less or equal to the stated in this manual.

▪ Check all connections of the liquid feed sys-

tem. Loosening the coupling anges, cracked

or torn hose, damaged or missing parts of the water tap or connector are not allowed.

▪ Always check the position of ON/OFF switch.

The power tool must be connected to the power supply socket only when this switch is

in OFF position. If the plug is connected to

a receptacle while the power switch is in the ON position, the power tool will start operating immediately upon checking the PRCD, which could cause a serious accident.

▪ Make sure that the cord, PRCD and the plug

are in order. If the replacement of the supply cord or PRCD is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.

WARNING: Always switch off and un-

plug the power tool prior to any adjustment, servicing or maintenance.

▪ In case the work area is remote from the pow-

▪ Check that the auxiliary handle is properly

mounted and reliably tightened.

CHECKING THE PRCD

Ensure that the ON/OFF switch (5) is in switched

off position. Connect the cord plug to a socket with protective neutral. Take the PRCD in your hand and press the ON-

I-RESET button. The PRCF LED indicator shall start to glow. (Fig.1)

Switch the machine on by sliding the switch (5) forward. The machine shall start to work.

Press the О-Test button. The PRCD shall switch

off, the LED indicator shall stop glowing and the

machine shall stop. (Fig.2)

Slide the switch (5) backward to switch the machine off before you attempt to start the machine again.

CONNECTING THE LIQUID FEED SYSTEM

The liquid feed system must be connected only to sources with liquid operation pressure less or equal to the stated herewith. The liquid feed system must be connected to a specially designed pump container for feeding the liquid, ensuring 6 bar liquid operation pressure and equipped with ½” quick coupling adapter. In order to couple the nozzle of the liquid feed system to the pump container for feeding the

liquid press the ange of the liquid feed system to the ange opening of the pump container. (Fig.3)

To separate the liquid feed system from the pump container pull the outer ring of the pump

container ange thus releasing the ange of the

liquid feed system.

OPERATION WITH THE LIQUID FEED SYSTEM

Check the reliable xing of the liquid feed system by the screw (6). If necessary tighten the screw (6) additionally to achieve immobility of the tap (8) and the disperser (7). Couple the liquid feed system to the source. Ensure that the source is under pressure. When using a pump container for feeding the liquid rotate the piston handle of the pump container anti-clockwise and start to pump until the pressure of the pump cylinder reaches approximately 6 bars. When performing the last pump-

in its lowest position by rotating it clockwise and lock it in the retainers. Thus the created pres-

sure in the system is preserved. Feeding the

liquid to the processed surface is performed by pressing the tap lever (8) down. The liquid falls on the processed surface from the disperser (7). Upon releasing the tap lever (8) it returns to its initial position and the liquid stops pouring from the disperser (7)

SELECTING THE ACCESSORY AND PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

The selection of accessory depends on the intended operation. Generally the permitted operations with this power tools are the following:

- Polishing granite and marble with a diamond particle pad for wet processing with hook-andloop fastening, up to Ø200mm;

- Cleaning stone clad facades and oors

with wheel brushes for wet processing up to Ø200mm, M14, with or without abrasive particles on the wires and with cleaning pads for wet processing made of nonwoven fabric with hookand-loop fastening, up to Ø200mm.

Familiarise yourself with the instructions for

preparation for work with the corresponding accessory. Perform accurately the described procedures for mounting, replacement and removing the corresponding accessories.

SWITCHING ON - SWITCHING OFF

The machines are secured against unintentional switching on. Upon mains drop-out the PRCD switches off and you have to repeat all procedures for starting the machine. Switching on: Check the PRCD. Set the necessary rpm by rotating the electronic regulator (16). Switch the PRCD by the ON-I-RESET button. The PRCD LED indicator shall glow. Slide the switch (5) forward. Switching off: Slide the switch (5) backward. Switch off the PRCD by pressing the О-Test button. The PRCD LED indicator shall stop glowing.

ELECTRONIC SPEED PRE-SELECTION

The rotation speed can be varied smoothly by turning the electronic regulator (16) on the rear side of the machine. The speed adjustment range varies from n = 240 min-1 to 1250 min-1, according to the table below:

tacho-constant electronics for:

- Soft start and restriction of the starting cur-

rent;

- Speed pre-selection and adjustment and

maintaining constant rpm upon overloading;

- Overload protection:

A current clutch actuates upon considerable brief overload to switch the machine off until the load drops down. Upon minor continuous overload the thermal overload protection actuates, to reduce motor rpm. The machine becomes disabled. To resume operation after the machine has cooled

down for 2-4 minutes, rst turn off and then turn on the ON/OFF switch;

- Non-self starting safety (NVR) at restoring

the mains supply. To resume operation after the current clutch has switched the machine off,

release the ON/OFF switch and then press the

switch again.

- Stabilizing the spindle speed;

- Portable Residual Current Device – PRCD;

- Liquid feed system.

MOUNTING THE ACCESSORIES AND THE OPERATING TOOLS

When mounting the polishing and cleaning ac-

cessories x the spindle (1) of the polisher by

pressing button (3) on the gear box.

WARNING: Never press the button

(3) when the spindle (1) is still rotating.

MOUNTING THE GUARD (CMW 1212CE)

Model CMW 1212CE is delivered with mounted guard (13). In case it is necessary to mount the guard (13) again perform the following procedures:

1. Place the ring (14) onto the cylindrical

ange of the bearing bed.

2. Place the guard (13) on the ange of the

bearing bed in such a way that the shaft (15) enters the groove of the guard (13).

3. Using Seeger circlip pliers insert the

Seeger circlip (12) in its groove into the ange

of the bearing bed. You have to exert light axial pressure to deform the spring (14) in order to gain access to the groove of the Seeger circlip.

4. Press the guard (13) several times and ensure that the spring (14) returns it reliably in its operation position. Once you are sure that all above described steps have been performed precisely select

the proper accessory for the specic operation

and refer to the corresponding section describing the procedures for its mounting. Once the accessory has been properly mounted you may start operation.

REMOVING THE GUARD (CMW 1212CE)

1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged and the liquid feed system is not under pressure.

2. Remove the used operating tool and the corresponding accessories (refer to the corresponding section).

3. Press the guard (13) in order to deform the spring (14) and to ensure access to the Seeger circlip (12). Dismount the Seeger circlip (12) using Seeger circlip pliers.

5. Remove the guard (13).

6. Remove the spring (12).

7. Clean the removed parts by a brush and soft cloth.

MOUNTING THE FLEXIBLE PAD

The precise and accurate performance of the below described procedures guarantees the reliable and safe operation with the power tool. All instructions are important and result from our huge experience gained during design and operation of power tools for the described use.

The exible backing pad (10) is attached to the spindle (1) by thread М14. The exible backing

pad (10) is equipped with hoop-and-loop fastening for attaching to the operating tools. Model PMW 1212CE is delivered with mounted

exible backing pad (10). In case you have to mount the exible backing

pad (10) again perform the following procedures:

3. Clean the threaded and face surfaces of

the spindle (1) using a brush and soft cloth.

4. Clean the face surface and the opening

of the support ange (9) and the exible backing pad (10) by a brush and soft cloth and store them for future use.

5. Place the support ange (9) onto the spin-

dle (1).

6. Ensure there is no dirt or foreign body

between the spindle (1) face and the ange

(9) face which may hamper their contact. The presence of foreign bodies and disturbed face contact are prerequisites for inexact movement of the operating tool and increased vibration causing unsatisfactory quality of the processed surface.

7. Take the exible backing pad (10).

8. Press the spindle lock button (3) and ro-

tate the exible pad (10) clockwise until the button (3) sinks and locks the spindle (1).

9. Tighten the exible pad (10) rmly to the

spindle (1).

10. Release the spindle lock button (3). En-

sure it has returned back to its initial position and does not lock the spindle (1) movement. If necessary rotate by hand the backing pad (10) to release the button (3) so it can return to its initial position.

REMOVING THE FLEXIBLE PAD

1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged

and the liquid feed system is not under pressure.

2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring ac-

cess to the operating tool. We recommend xing

the machine in stationary position. Thus it would be possible to use both hands for convenient and safe assembly.

3. Press the spindle lock button (3) and ro-

tate the exible pad (10) clockwise until the button (3) sinks and locks the spindle (1).

4. Take the exible pad (10) and rotate it anti-

clockwise until the exible pad (10) is entirely

unscrewed from the spindle M14 thread.

5. Remove the support ange (9) from the

spindle (1).

6. Clean the face surface and the opening of the support ange (9) and the exible backing pad (10) by a brush and soft cloth and store them for future use.

MOUNTING THE BRUSH

The brush (11) is fastened to the spindle (1) by

thread М14. Model СMW 1212CE is delivered with mounted

brush (11). In case it is necessary to mount the brush (11) again perform the following procedures:

1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged and the liquid feed system is not under pressure.

2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring ac-

cess to the operating tool. We recommend xing

the machine in stationary position. Thus it would be possible to use both hands for convenient and safe assembly.

3. Clean the threaded and face surfaces of the spindle (1) using a brush and soft cloth.

4. Clean the face surface and the opening of

the support ange (9) and the face of the brush

(11) using a brush and soft cloth.

5. Place the support ange (9) onto the spindle (1).

6. Ensure there is no dirt or foreign body

between the spindle (1) face and the ange

of the support ange (9) and the exible backing pad (10) by a brush and soft cloth and store them for future use.

POLISNING WITH DIAMOND PARTICLE PAD

The choice of the pad depends on the operation you intend to perform. To achieve good results it is necessary to process the surface at least twice; use coarser pads (with smaller grit

number) for the rst processing; use ne structure pads (with bigger grit number) for nishing.

The operator estimates the quantity of the fed liquid, considering the fact that the liquid cools the operating tool and improves the quality of the processed surface. We recommend using original SPARKY accessories specially designed for achieving optimum results. Use only pads with hook-and-loop fastening. Never use consumables and accessories with diameter exceeding the maximum permitted for the power tool.

CLEANING WITH NONWOVEN FABRIC (FIBRAT) PAD

Cleaning with a nonwoven fabric (Fibrat) pad(17)

is carried out to remove the dirt from surfaces which allow the use of liquids during operation. The operator estimates the quantity of the fed liquid, considering the fact that the liquid cools the operating tool and improves the quality of the processed surface. We recommend using original SPARKY accessories specially designed for achieving optimum results. Use only pads with hook-and-loop fastening. Never use pads with diameter exceeding the maximum permitted for the power tool.

CLEANING WITH A BRUSH

Cleaning with brushes (11) is carried out to remove the dirt from surfaces which allow the use of liquids during operation. The operator estimates the quantity of the fed liquid, considering the fact that the liquid cools the operating tool and improves the quality of the processed surface. We recommend using original SPARKY accessories specially designed for achieving optimum results. Use only brushes with M14 thread. Do not use brushes with diameter exceeding the maximum permitted for this power tool.

MOUNTING THE DIAMOND PARTICLE PAD AND THE NONWOVEN FABRIC (FIBRAT) PAD

1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged and the liquid feed system is not under pressure.

2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring ac-

cess to the operating tool. We recommend xing

the machine in stationary position. Thus it would be possible to use both hands for convenient and safe assembly.

3. Tighten the exible pad (10) rmly, while

performing the procedures according items 8, 9

и 10 from section „Mounting the exible pad

4. Place the selected operating tool, taking

care to ensure its coaxiality toward the exible

pad (10).

5. Ensure the concentricity of the chosen operating tool for better work.

6. Press the face of the operating tool to the

exible pad (10) to ensure maximum cohesion

between their hook-and-loop surfaces.

7. Turn the machine so that the operating

tool faces the oor.

8. Plug in the power tool.

9. Set the electronic regulator (16) to its

maximum position for the specic operating tool

according to the recommended values. Switch on the PRCD and check it functioning. Switch on the PRCD by pressing the ON-I-RESET button.

Switch on the machine by sliding the ON/OFF

switch (5) forward.

10. Let the machine operate at no load for approximately one minute, not allowing the operating tool to contact any surface.

11. At the event of increased vibrations or other symptoms not typical for operation, stop the machine immediately and search for the reason. If you can not detect the reason your-

self - contact the nearest authorised SPARKY service centre. Operating with a faulty machine may cause an accident!

12. If no trouble is detected then you can start

operation.

REPLACING THE DIAMOND PARTICLE PAD AND THE NONWOVEN FABRIC (FIBRAT) PAD

1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged

and the liquid feed system is not under pressure.

2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring ac-

cess to the operating tool. We recommend xing

the machine in stationary position. Thus it would be possible to use both hands for convenient and safe assembly.

3. Remove the operating tool you intend to

replace by tearing it from the exible pad (10).

4. Follow steps 4 - 12 from section „Mount-

ing the diamond particle pad and the nonwoven

fabric (Fibrat) pad”.

REMOVING DIAMOND PARTICLE PAD AND THE NONWOVEN FABRIC (FIBRAT) PAD

1. Ensure that the power tool is unplugged

and the liquid feed system is not under pressure.

2. Turn the machine in a way ensuring ac-

cess to the operating tool. We recommend xing

the machine in stationary position. Thus it would be possible to use both hands for convenient and safe assembly.

3. Remove the operating tool (accessory)

which you intend to replace by tearing it from

the exible pad (10).

RECOMMENDATIONS

When polishing and cleaning do not apply excessive pressure on the processed surface but move the machine smoothly.

VII - Maintenance

WARNING: Always ensure that the

tool is switched off and unplugged before attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.

BRUSH REPLACEMENT

This power tool is equipped with auto-stop brushes. When the carbon brushes are worn out, the machine switches itself off. In this case both brushes must be replaced simultaneously with genuine brushes at SPARKY service centre for warranty and post-warranty service.

GENERAL INSPECTION

Regularly inspect all fasteners and ensure they are properly tightened. Should any of the screws be loose, retighten it immediately to avoid hazards. If the replacement of the supply cord is necessary, this has to be done by the manufacturer or his agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.

CLEANING

For safe operation always keep the machine

and its ventilation slots clean. Regularly check to see if any dust or foreign matter has entered the ventilation slots and the grills around the switches. Use a soft brush and/or air jet to remove any accumulated dust. Wear safety glasses to protect your eyes whilst cleaning. Exterior plastic parts may be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary.

WARNING: Never use alcohol, petrol

or other cleaning agent. Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.

WARNING: Water must never come

into contact with the tool.

IMPORTANT! To assure product safety and reliability, repairs, maintenance and adjustment (including brush inspection and replacement)

should be performed by certied service centres or other qualied service organisations, always

using genuine replacement parts.

VIII - Warranty

The guarantee period for SPARKY power tools is determined in the guarantee card. Faults due to normal wear, overloading or improper handling will be excluded from the guarantee.

Faults due to defective materials implemented

as well as defects in workmanship will be corrected free of charge through replacement or repair. The complaints for defective SPARKY power tools will be recognized if the machine is sent back to the dealer or is presented to the authorised warranty service centre undismantled, in its initial condition.

Originalbetriebsanleitung

Der in diesen Anweisungen angegebene Schwingungspegel ist entsprechend einem in EN 60745 genormten Messverfahren gemessen worden und kann für den Vergleich von Elektrowerkzeugen miteinander verwendet werden. Er eignet sich auch für eine vorläuge Einschätzung der Schwingungsbelastung. Der angegebene Schwingungspegel repräsentiert die hauptsächlichen Anwendungen des Elektrowerkzeugs. Wenn allerdings das Elektrowerkzeug für andere Anwendungen, mit abweichenden Einsatzwerkzeugen oder ungenügender Wartung eingesetzt wird, kann der Schwingungspegel abweichen. Dies kann die Schwingungsbelastung über den gesamten Arbeitszeitraum deutlich erhöhen. Für eine genaue Abschätzung der Schwingungsbelastung sollten auch die Zeiten berücksichtigt werden, in denen das Gerät abgeschaltet ist oder zwar läuft, aber nicht tatsächlich im Einsatz ist. Dies kann die Schwingungsbelastung über den gesamten Arbeitszeitraum deutlich reduzieren.

Pegen Sie das Gerät und die Einsatzwerkzeuge mit Sorgfalt. Halten Sie Ihre Hände warm während

der Arbeit - dies wird die schädliche Einwirkung erhöhter Schwingungen reduzieren. Bei anderen Arbeiten, z.B. Schleifen mit Abrasivscheiben oder Reinigung mit Drahtbürste können die Schwingungsemissionen auch andere Werte haben. Stäube von Materialien wie bleihaltigem Anstrich, einigen Holzarten, Mineralien und Metall können gesundheitsschädlich sein. Berühren oder Einatmen der Stäube können allergische Reaktionen und/

oder Atemwegserkrankungen des Benutzers oder in der Nähe bendlicher Personen hervorrufen.

Bestimmte Stäube wie Eichen- oder Buchenstaub gelten als krebserzeugend, besonders in Verbindung mit Zusatzstoffen zur Holzbehandlung (Chromat, Holzschutzmittel). Asbesthaltiges Material darf

nur von Fachleuten bearbeitet werden.

Der in den Sicherheitshinweisen verwendete Begriff „Elektrowerkzeug“ bezieht sich auf netzbetriebene Elektrowerkzeuge (mit Netzkabel) und auf akkubetriebene Elektrowerkzeuge

(ohne Netzkabel).

1) Arbeitsplatzsicherheit a) Halten Sie Ihren Arbeitsbereich sauber

und gut beleuchtet. Unordnung oder un-

beleuchtete Arbeitsbereiche können zu Un-

fällen führen.

b) Arbeiten Sie mit dem Elektrowerkzeug

nicht in explosionsgefährdeter Umgebung, in der sich brennbare Flüssigkei-

ten, Gase oder Stäube benden. Elektrowerkzeuge erzeugen Funken, die den

Staub oder die Dämpfe entzünden können.

c) Halten Sie Kinder und andere Personen

während der Benutzung des Elektrowerkzeugs fern. Bei Ablenkung können

Sie die Kontrolle über das Gerät verlieren.

2) Elektrische Sicherheit a) Der Anschlussstecker des Elektro werk-

zeuges muss in die Steckdose passen. Der Stecker darf in keiner Weise verändert werden. Verwenden Sie keine Adapterstecker gemeinsam mit schutzgeerdeten Elektrowerkzeugen. Unverän-

derte Stecker und passende Steckdosen

verringern das Risiko eines elektrischen

Schlages.

b) Vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit geer-

deten Oberächen wie von Rohren, Heizungen, Herden und Kühlschränken. Es

besteht ein erhöhtes Risiko durch elektri-

schen Schlag, wenn Ihr Körper geerdet ist.

c) Halten Sie Elektrowerkzeuge von Re-

gen oder Nässe fern. Das Eindringen von

Wasser in ein Elektrowerkzeug erhöht das

Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

d) Zweckentfremden Sie das Kabel nicht,

um das Elektrowerkzeug zu tragen, aufzuhängen oder um den Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen. Halten Sie das Kabel fern von Hitze, Öl, scharfen Kanten oder sich bewegenden Geräteteilen. Be-

schädigte oder verwickelte Kabel erhöhen

das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

e) Wenn Sie mit einem Elektrowerkzeug

im Freien arbeiten, verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel, die auch für den Außenbereich geeignet sind. Die Anwen-

dung eines für den Außenbereich geeigneten Verlängerungskabels verringert das

Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages.

f) )Wenn der Betrieb des Elektrowerk-

zeuges in feuchter Umgebung nicht vermeidbar ist, verwenden Sie einen Fehlerstromschutzschalter (RCD). Der

Einsatz eines Fehlerstromschutzschalters (RCD) vermindert das Risiko eines elektri-

schen Schlages.

g) Das Elektrowerkzeug niemals ohne

PRCD geliefert mit dem Elektrowerkzeug zu benutzen.

h) Überprüfen Sie immer das richtige Funk-

tionieren des PRCD vor dem Arbeitsbeginn.

3) Sicherheit von Personen a) Seien Sie aufmerksam, achten Sie da-

rauf, was Sie tun, und gehen Sie mit Vernunft an die Arbeit mit einem Elektrowerkzeug. Benutzen Sie kein Elektrowerkzeug, wenn Sie müde sind oder

▪ Benutzen Sie möglichst eine Staubabsaugung. ▪ Sorgen Sie für gute Belüftung des Arbeitsplatzes. ▪ Es wird empfohlen, eine Atemschutzmaske mit Filterklasse P2 zu tragen.

Beachten Sie in Ihrem Land gültige Vorschriften für die zu bearbeitenden Materialien. Dieses Werkzeug ist mit einem FI Schutzschalter ausgerüstet welcher Störungen im Stromuss entdeckt und so den Benutzer vor einem Stromschlag schützt.

Die Maschine wird an eine Anlage zur Flüssigkeitszufuhr angeschlossen, welche eine wässrige Lösung von einer äußeren oder inneren Quelle benutzt, die zur Sicherung der Funktion des Elektro-

werkzeuges entsprechend seiner Bestimmung erforderlich ist.

b) Tragen Sie persönliche Schutzausrüs-

tung und immer eine Schutz brille. Das

Tragen persönlicher Schutzausrüstung, wie Staubmaske, rutschfeste Sicherheitsschu-

he, Schutzhelm oder Gehörschutz, je nach

Art und Einsatz des Elektrowerkzeuges,

verringert das Risiko von Verletzungen.

c) Vermeiden Sie eine unbeabsichtigte In-

betriebnahme. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Elektrowerkzeug ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie es an die Stromversorgung und/oder den Akku anschließen, es aufnehmen oder tragen. Wenn Sie

beim Tragen des Elektrowerkzeuges den Finger am Schalter haben oder das Gerät eingeschaltet an die Stromversorgung an-

schließen, kann dies zu Unfällen führen.

d) Entfernen Sie Einstellwerkzeuge oder

Schraubenschlüssel, bevor Sie das Elektrowerkzeug einschalten. Ein Werk-

zeug oder Schlüssel, der sich in einem dre-

henden Geräteteil bendet, kann zu Verletzungen führen.

e) Vermeiden Sie eine abnormale Körper-

haltung. Sorgen Sie für einen sicheren Stand und halten Sie jederzeit das Gleichgewicht. Dadurch können Sie das

nen besser kontrollieren.

f) Tragen Sie geeignete Kleidung. Tragen

Sie keine weite Kleidung oder Schmuck. Halten Sie Haare, Kleidung und Handschuhe fern von sich bewegenden Teilen. Lockere Kleidung, Schmuck oder lan-

ge Haare können von sich bewegenden

Teilen erfasst werden.

g) Wenn Staubabsaug- und -auffangeinrich-

tungen montiert werden können, vergewissern Sie sich, dass diese angeschlossen sind und richtig ver wendet werden.

Verwendung einer Staub absaugung kann

Gefährdungen durch Staub verringern.

4) Verwendung und Behandlung des Elektrowerkzeuges

a) Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht. Ver-

wenden Sie für Ihre Arbeit das dafür bestimmte Elektrowerkzeug. Mit dem

passenden Elektrowerkzeug arbeiten Sie besser und sicherer im angegebenen Leis-

tungsbereich.

b) Benutzen Sie kein Elektrowerkzeug,

dessen Schalter defekt ist. Ein Elektro-

werkzeug, das sich nicht mehr ein- oder ausschalten lässt, ist gefährlich und muss

repariert werden.

c) Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steck-

dose und/oder entfernen Sie den Akku, bevor Sie Geräteeinstellungen vornehmen, Zubehörteile wechseln oder das Gerät weglegen. Diese Vorsichtsmaßnah-

me verhindert den unbeabsichtigten Start

des Elektrowerkzeuges.

d) Bewahren Sie unbenutzte Elektrowerk-

zeuge außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf. Lassen Sie Personen das Gerät nicht benutzen, die mit diesem nicht vertraut sind oder diese Anweisungen nicht gelesen haben. Elektro-

werkzeuge sind gefährlich, wenn Sie von

unerfahrenen Personen benutzt werden.

e) Pegen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge mit Sorg-

falt. Kontrollieren Sie, ob bewegliche Teile einwandfrei funktionieren und nicht klemmen, ob Teile gebrochen oder so beschädigt sind, dass die Funktion des Elektrowerkzeuges beeinträchtigt ist. Lassen Sie beschädigte Teile vor dem Einsatz des Gerätes reparieren. Vie-

f) Halten Sie Schneidwerkzeuge scharf

und sauber. Sorgfältig gepegte Schneid-

werkzeuge mit scharfen Schneidkanten verklemmen sich weniger und sind leichter

zu führen.

g) Verwenden Sie Elektrowerkzeug, Zube-

hör, Einsatzwerkzeuge usw. entsprechend diesen Anweisungen. Berücksichtigen Sie dabei die Arbeitsbedingungen und die auszuführende Tätigkeit. Der Ge-

brauch von Elektrowerkzeugen für ande re als die vorgesehenen Anwendungen kann

zu gefährlichen Situationen führen.

5) Service a) Lassen Sie Ihr Elektrowerkzeug nur von

qualiziertem Fachpersonal und nur mit

Original-Ersatzteilen reparieren. Damit wird sichergestellt, dass die Sicherheit des

Elektrowerkzeuges erhalten bleibt.

b) Der Wechsel des Steckers oder des

Stromversorgungskabels muss immer vom Hersteller des Elektrowerkzeugs oder von einem Service des Herstellers durchgeführt werden.

IV – Zusätzliche Hinweise bei der Arbeit mit Polier- und Putzmaschinen

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise beim Schleifen, Sandpapierschleifen, Drahtbürstenputzen, Polieren oder Abschneideschleifen:

а) Dieses Elektrowerkzeug ist bestimmt

als Schleifmaschine, Drahtbürste, Poliermaschine. Lesen Sie alle Sicherheitswarnungen, Anweisungen, Illustrationen und technischen Anforderungen mit diesem Elektrowerkzeug geliefert wurden aufmerksam durch. Das Nicht-

einhalten aller Anweisungen, die nachstehend beschrieben sind, kann zu einem

Stromschaden, Brand und / oder einer ernsthaften Verletzung führen.

b) Dieses Elektrowerkzeug ist nicht ge-

eignet für Arbeiten wie Schleifen und Schneiden mit einer Schleifscheibe, Schleifen mit Sandpapierscheiben, Arbeit mit Diamantscheiben, Kreissägeblättern. Operationen, für welche das

Elektrowerkzeug nicht bestimmt ist, können eine Gefahr hervorrufen und Verletzungen

verursachen.

с) Benutzen Sie kein Zubehör, das vom

Hersteller dieses Elektrowerkzeugs nicht speziell angeboten und empfohlen wird. Die Tatsache, dass Sie das Zu-

behörteil am Elektrowerkzeug befestigen können, garantiert nicht seinen sicheren

Betrieb.

d) Die angegebene Geschwindigkeit des

Einsatzwerkzeugs muss mindestens gleich der maximalen Geschwindigkeit, markiert auf dem Elektrowerkzeug sein.

Einsatzwerkzeuge, die sich mit einer Geschwindigkeit höher als die angegebene drehen, können zerbrechen und umher-

iegen, was eine Gefahr für den Benutzer oder umstehende Personen darstellt.

е) Der Außendurchmesser und die Stärke

des Einsatzwerkzeugs müssen innerhalb der maximalen Abmessungen für Einsatzwerke des Elektrowerkzeugs sein. Zubehörteile mit nicht passenden

Abmessungen können nicht gut abgedeckt

oder gehandhabt werden.

f) Die Anschlussausmaße der Schleif-

scheiben, Flansche, Stützscheiben oder jegliche anderer Zubehörteile müssen genau auf die Spindel des Elektrowerkzeugs passen. Zubehörteile, die nicht

genau auf die Spindel des Elektrowerkzeugs passen, drehen sich ungleichmäßig, schwingen übermäßig und können einen Verlust der Kontrolle über das Elektro-

werkzeug hervorrufen.

g) Benutzen Sie keine beschädigten Ein-

satzwerkzeuge. Überprüfen vor jedem Betrieb Sie das Einsatzwerkzeug, zum Beispiel die Schleifscheiben – auf das Vorhandensein von Bruchstellen, Abbrüchen und Rissen, die Stützunterlagen – auf Risse oder starken Verschleiß, Drahtbürsten – auf gelöste oder abgebrochene Drähte. Wenn Sie das Elektrowerkzeug oder das Arbeitsinstrument fallen gelassen haben, überprüfen Sie, ob es beschädigt ist oder montieren Sie ein nicht beschädigtes Einsatzwerkzeug. Nachdem das Zubehörteil überprüft und montiert ist, stellen Sie sich zusammen mit eventuellen Nebenpersonen außerhalb der Drehebene des Zubehörteils und lassen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug mit

von der zu polierenden Oberäche oder

vom zu bearbeitenden Werkstück aufhalten kann. Die Schutzbrille soll Sie vor

den bei den verschiedenen Arbeiten ent-

stehenden iegenden Teilchen schützen.

Die Staubschutzmaske soll die bei der Ar-

beit entstehenden Teilchen ltrieren. Der

dauerhafte starke Lärm kann einen Gehör-

schaden hervorrufen.

i) Halten Sie die Nebenpersonen auf ei-

nen gefahrlosen Abstand von der Arbeitszone. Jede Person, die sich in der

Arbeitszone bendet, muss persönliche

Schutzmittel tragen. Es ist möglich, dass

beitenden Werkstück oder vom gebrochenen Einsatzwerkzeug eine Verletzung auch außerhalb der unmittelbaren Arbeitszone

verursachen.

▪ Fixieren Sie das zu bearbeitenden Werk-

stück in einem Schraubstock oder auf eine andere passende Weise.

▪ Üben Sie keinen seitlichen Druck zum

Stoppen des Drehens der Scheibe nach dem Ausschalten der Maschine.

▪ Man darf die Maschine nur eingeschal-

tet gegen das Werkstück führen.

j) Legen Sie das Versorgungskabel fern

vom sich drehenden Einsatzwerkzeug.

Wenn Sie Kontrolle über das Elektrowerkzeug verlieren, kann man das Versorgungs-

kabel zerschneiden oder ihre Handäche

im Umfang des sich drehenden Einsatz-

werkzeugs heranziehen.

k) Lassen Sie niemals das Elektrowerk-

zeug beiseite, bevor das Einsatzwerkzeug aufgehört hat sich zu drehen. Das

sich drehende Einsatzwerkzeug kann das zu bearbeitende Material erfassen und Sie können die Kontrolle über das Elektrowerk-

zeug verlieren.

l) Tragen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug NUR

wenn es ausgeschaltet ist und das Einsatzwerkzeug völlig zum Stillstand gekommen ist. Eine zufällige Berührung des

sich drehenden Einsatzwerkzeugs mit Ihrer Bekleidung kann sie erfassen und Ihr Kör-

per verletzen.

m) Reinigen Sie regelmäßig die Lüftungs-

öffnungen des Elektrowerkzeuges. Der

Lüfter des Elektromotors saugt Staub in das Innere und eine übermäßige Anhäufung von Metallstaub kann die Gefahr eine

Stromschlag hervorrufen.

n) Benutzen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug

nicht in der Nähe von entzündbaren und brennbaren Materialien. Funken können

diese Materialien entzünden.

▪ Das Elektrowerkzeug darf nur bestim-

mungsgemäß benutzt werden. Jede andere Anwendung, die sich von der in dieser Anweisung beschriebenen unterscheidet, wird als eine nicht richtige Anwendung angesehen. Die Haftung für

jeglichen Schaden oder eine Verletzung,

entstanden infolge einer nicht richtigen Anwendung, wird vom Benutzer getragen

sein, und nicht vom Hersteller.

▪ Der Hersteller trägt keine Haftung für

die vom Benutzer gemachten Änderungen des Elektrowerkzeugs oder für

Schäden, die von solchen Änderungen verursacht sind.

▪ Bei einer Arbeit in einer staubigen Um-

gebung muss man die Lüftungsöffnungen der Maschine sauber halten. Wenn es erforderlich ist, die Lüftungsöffnungen zu reinigen, schalten Sie zuerst die Stromversorgung aus und benutzen Sie nichtmetallische Gegenstände zum Entfernen des Staubs (Pinsel, weiches Tuch), wobei Sie darauf achten müssen, die inneren Elemente der Maschine nicht zu beschädigen. Das Elektrowerkzeug

wird sich überhitzen, wenn die Kühlung infolge von verstaubten Lüftungsöffnungen

reduziert ist.

▪ Man darf das Elektrowerkzeug im nicht

Freien bei Regenwetter, in feuchter Umgebung (nach einem Regen) oder in der Nähe von leicht entzündbaren Flüssigkeiten und Gasen benutzen. Der Arbeitsplatz muss gut beleuchtet sein.

Weitere Sicherheitshinweise für alle Anwendungen

Rückschlag und entsprechende Sicherheitshinweise

Rückschlag ist die plötzliche Reaktion infolge eines festgeklemmten oder blockierten Einsatzwerkzeugs, wie Schleifteller oder anderes. Festklemmen oder Blockieren führt zu einem abrupten Stopp des rotierenden Einsatzwerkzeugs. Dadurch wird ein unkontrolliertes Elektrowerkzeug gegen die Drehrichtung des Einsatzwerkzeugs an der Blockierstelle beschleunigt.

Ein Rückschlag ist die Folge eines falschen oder

fehlerhaften Gebrauchs des Elektrowerkzeugs. Er kann durch geeignete Vorsichtsmaßnahmen, wie nachfolgend beschrieben, verhindert werden.

а) Halten Sie das Elektrowerkzeug gut fest

und bringen Sie Ihren Körper und Ihre Arme in eine Position, in der Sie die Rückschlagkräfte abfangen können. Verwenden Sie immer den Zusatzgriff, falls vorhanden, um die größtmögliche Kontrolle über Rückschlagkräfte oder Reaktionsmomente beim Anlauf zu haben. Die Bedienperson kann durch

geeignete Vorsichtsmaßnahmen die Rück-

schlag- und Reaktionskräfte beherrschen.

b) Halten Sie Ihre Hand nie in der Nähe der

sich drehenden Einsatzwerkzeuge. Das

Einsatzwerkzeug kann sich beim Rück-

schlag über Ihre Hand bewegen.

с) Meiden Sie mit Ihrem Körper den Be-

reich, in den das Elektrowerkzeug bei einem Rückschlag bewegt wird. Der

Rückschlag treibt das Elektrowerkzeug in die Richtung, entgegengesetzt zur Bewe-

gung des Schleiftellers.

d) Arbeiten Sie besonders vorsichtig im

Bereich von Ecken, scharfen Kanten usw. Verhindern Sie, dass die Einsatzwerkzeuge vom Werkstück zurückprallen und verklemmen. Das rotierende

Einsatzwerkzeug neigt bei Ecken, scharfen Kanten oder wenn es abprallt dazu, sich zu

verklemmen. Dies verursacht einen Kontrollverlust oder Rückschlag.

Besondere Sicherheitshinweise zum Polieren

а) Lassen Sie keine losen Teile der Lamm-

wollhaube oder der Befestigungsschnüre zu. Verstauen oder kürzen Sie die Befestigungsschnüre. Lose, sich mitdre-

hende Befestigungsschnüre können Ihre Finger erfassen oder sich im Werkstück

verfangen.

Besondere Sicherheitshinweise beim Putzen mit Bürsten

а) Nehmen Sie in Rücksicht, dass die

Drahtbürste ein Teil ihrer Fäden während der normalen Arbeit verliert. Überladen Sie nicht die Bürste durch eine zu große Druckkraft. Die Drahtteilchen

können leicht durch eine dünne Bekleidung

oder durch die Haut eindringen.

b) Wenn das Benutzen einer Sicherung für

die Drahtbürsten empfehlenswert ist, berühren Sie auf keine Weise die Sicherung mit der Drahtscheibe oder mit der Bürste. Die Drahtscheibe oder die Bürste

können ihren Durchmesser während der Arbeit durch die Zentrifugalkräfte vergrö-

ßern.

WARNUNG! Schließen Sie die Anla-

ge zur Flüssigkeitszufuhr niemals an eine Versorgungsquelle an, deren Arbeitsdruck größer ist als der in der Anleitung angegebene!

VOR DEM ARBEITSBEGINN

▪ Überprüfen Sie ob die Spannung des Versor-

gungsnetzes der Spannung, angegeben auf dem Typenschild mit den technischen Angaben des Elektrowerkzeuges entspricht.

▪ Überprüfen Sie ob die Versorgungssteckdose

geerdet ist.

▪ Überprüfen Sie den Druck der Versorgungs-

quelle für die Anlage zur Flüssigkeitszufuhr.

Er muss kleiner oder gleich dem in dieser Anweisung angegebenen Druck sein.

▪ Überprüfen Sie alle Verbindungen der An-

lage zur Flüssigkeitszufuhr. Gelockerte Anschlussansche, ein geplatzter oder zerrisse-

ner Schlauch, Beschädigungen oder Mängel des Wasserversorgungshahns oder des Anschlusssteckers sind unzulässig.

▪ Überprüfen Sie in welcher Position sich der

Schalter bendet. Das Elektrowerkzeug darf

nur bei ausgeschaltetem Schalter an das Versorgungsnetz angeschlossen oder von ihm getrennt werden. Wenn Sie den Stecker bei eingeschaltetem Schalter in die Steckdose stecken, wird das Gerät sofort mit der Überprüfung des PRCD starten, was eine Voraussetzung für einen Unfall ist.

▪ Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Versor-

gungskabel, der PRCD und der Stecker keine Beschädigungen aufweisen. Wenn das Versorgungskabel oder der PRCD beschädigt sind, muss der Hersteller oder ein vom Hersteller autorisierter Servicefachmann den Wechsel ausführen, damit die Gefahren beim Wechsel vermeidet werden können.
