Included is some important safety information in addition to
guidelines and recommendations that will enable you to take full
advantage of all the functions available.
This quality appliance has been tested and certified to meet
all applicable UK electrical and safety standards.
This appliance must be installed and connected in
accordance with current regulations by a qualified electrician.
After unpacking the appliance ensure that there is no visible damage.
If the appliance has been damaged during transit, do not use it,
contact your retailer immediately.

This appliance is guaranteed for one year from date of purchase

Keep your purchase receipt with these instructions.
To fulfill the conditions of the guarantee this appliance must have
been correctly installed by a qualified person and operated in
accordance with these instructions. The appliance is intended for
domestic use only.
If the appliance fails to work properly during the first year period

The appliance will be repaired or replaced (at the manufacturer’s
discretion) at no cost to you. If the guarantee has elapsed, you
will be given a quotation for any repairs or parts required.

Section 1. Installation
1.1. Appliance Dimensions
The following dimensions are supplied for guidance purposes only. You should accurately measure your appliance and cabinetry before commencing installation.
Your hob is supplied with a fixing kit and seal to ensure that the hob is securely fitted/sealed to the work surface.
1.2. MH4C Wiring Connection

N.B. This appliance must be installed by a qualified electrician and should be ‘hard wired’ to a separate 30amp cooker circuit with an isolation switch positioned above the work surface. Check the rating plate for further details.

1.3. General Installation Advice
Remove all packaging materials and any protective film
applied to the appliance surfaces.
Wipe the glass surface with a soft damp cloth.
This appliance must be ‘hard wired’ to a separate
30amp
cooker circuit with an isolation switch positioned above the work surface. Check the rating plate for further details.
Do not connect this appliance to a standard 13amp
socket outlet!
During initial use you may notice a ‘newness’ or ‘hot’ smell coming from the appliance - this is quite normal.

Section 3. Operating The Appliance
Eac h cerami c hea t zon e is operate d b y a contro l kno b (see diagra m below) . Variou s hea t level s ca n be achieve d by selectin g th e setting s ‘1 ’ to ‘11’.
Settin g ‘0 ’ is OFF . Settin g ‘1 ’ is LO W an d settin g ‘11 ’ is HIGH.
Use pans that have a thick, flat solid base with the same (or slightly larger) diameter than the heating zone being used

The neon warning light operate whilst a heat zone is in use or until it has cooled down after use.

Section 4. Maintenance
4.1. General Maintenance
Disconnect the hob from the electricity supply and ensure
that it has been allowed to completely cool down before carrying out cleaning or maintenance.
Clean the ceramic heat zones with warm soapy water or a
specialist ceramic hob cleaner.
Other th an maintaining the appliance in a clean working
condition, there is no other ‘user’ maintenance that needs to be carried out. instruction book.
4.2. What to do if something goes wrong
Before contacting our service help line, please check the following points:
There is no power to the appliance:
Check that there is not a power cut
Check that there is power to the ‘cooker’ socket and appliance
Check that the circuit fuse/trip switch has not blown/tripped
