Buttons Explained:
1 Play/Pause
Press button during play to pause audio, and again to resume.
2 Track Back / Rewind
Click to skip back a track or hold down to rewind
3 Track Forward / Fast Forward
Click to skip forward a track or hold down to fast forward
4 Reset / Skip Book
Click to skip to the next book/folder or hold down to reset to the beginning
of track 1, folder 1

USB port
Insert the USB stick into the port – it will only fit one way.
6 On/Off and Volume Dial
Rotate clockwise to switch player on, hearing a click and then continue clockwise to increase volume.
7 Headphone Socket
Please use headphones with a mini jack connector

Only use the AC charger supplied with the Sovereign
Bookmarking
To play a memory stick simply insert it into the slot on the top of the player (number
5) and switch on. The Sovereign will find the audio, let out a “bing bong” tone and start playing automatically. You can then use the buttons as described above to navigate the audio content.

Bookmarking is automatic and will remember the last played position for

Connecting
with Bluetooth:
Connecting to the Sovereign player via Bluet
ooth does not require any buttons pressed on the Sovereign. Simply search for and select for the Sovereign on your bluetooth device (Phone, Tablet etc) and select connect.. you will hear a tone through the player when the connection has been made. Bluetooth is not useable when a USB stick is inserted. For more details see:

Charging & Changing the Battery
We recommend your first charge lasts 6-8 hours and t
here after charge for 1-
2
hours
as
required. Do not charge over night, and only use the charger
supplied with the player.
If you intend to use the Sovereign on mains power
only, we recommend
removing the battery.
The battery should easily click out once the cover has been removed. Then line up the new battery with the gold contacts and repla
ce the cover.
Using Headphones
The headphone socket is located on the front of the player to the left of the On-Off/Volume dial
(in the 7 O'clock position). It is designed for use
with headphone's connected by a mini jack.
