and a junction box mounting
plate with a transformer
(AC-SM31-XFMR).

Warning Warning

SoundTube speakers must be installed by a professional audio installer/contractor. For safety and for
optimum audio performance, installer must follow all directions issued by SoundTube Entertainment.

Do not spec or install speaker near support beam, ventilation duct or
other structure that may interfere with speaker function or dispersion.

1. Unpack speaker.

4. Choose a secure
mounting surface with
sufficient strength to reliably
hold the speaker.

2. Connect speaker wire
leads to terminal screws on
back of base plate. Polarity
is indicated

5. Attach speaker to surface
using installer-supplied
fasteners.

3a. If mounting speaker
directly over wire, ensure
base plate covers hole in
wall.

6. Aim speaker by pointing it
up or down and/or rotating
it.

3b. If mounting speaker
offset from wiring point, run
wire out hole in wall and
behind base plate through 2
mm standoff gap between
base plate and wall.
Standoff gap accepts up to
18-gauge flat signal wire.

7. Done!
