your personal protectors
These individual manufactured reusable level dependent/active hearing protectors are class 2 personal protector devices.
Soundscope pro-tect iHunt is constructed to be used during hunting and has been designed to give good protection against strong impulse sounds such as shots from hand held guns, e.g. rifles, hand guns.
Soundscope pro-tect iHunt is not designed for being used against continuous noises, e.g. in an industrial environment.
To ensure you that you get the most use of your protectors, please read the user instruction, follow all instruction in it and listen to advice from your dealer. Failure to follow those instructions and advice may severely impair the protection provided by your protectors.

protect your hearing
It is important you are using your protectors all the time when using guns. Remember that soundscope pro-tect iHunt is purely classed as a hunting hearing protecting device and can not be used in other noisy environments. Correct usage will strongly reduce, but not fully eliminate the risk to injure your hearing due to gun noise and/or other noise.
Frequent controls of your hearing is recommended in order to be able to follow eventual changes of your hearing.
Hearing impairment may occur due to many reasons such as sickness, medication, natural aging and/or exposure to noise/strong sounds.

Each protector is identified by product name, serial number and the initial of the user, which are all placed on the outside of the shell.
You differentiate both sides by blue shell for left side and right shell for right side.

batteries
Your protectors use battery size 13 (orange). It is important that you use the right size and type of battery for your protectors. Battery size 13 may be recognized by the number 13 and/or the orange colour on the battery package.
Due to its size, it is recommended that you change battery over a table in order not to drop your protector and/or the battery.
Note: In the protectors there is an tone that indicates when it is time to change battery.

1. Open the battery compartment with the nail grip on the
edge an pull carefully outward.
2. Used batteries are removed by pushing battery upwards.
DO NOT push the battery against the side of the battery compartment.
3. Remove the tab in order to activate the battery.
4. Place the new battery in the compartment with the plus
marking (+) upwards.
5. Close the battery compartment properly. The door
snaps through with a little ”click”. Do not use more than necessary strength to close the door since it may cause damage to your protectors.
