Water / Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used near
water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.

Ventilation
Do not block areas of ventilation opening. Failure to do could result in re. Always
install according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for
safety.
Power Cord and Plug
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not defeat
the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
poles; a grounding-type plug has two poles and a third grounding terminal. The third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, refer
to an electrician for replacement.
Power Supply
In case of external power supply, the apparatus should be connected to the power supply only of the type as marked on the apparatus or described in the manual. Failure to
do could result in damage to the product and possibly the user. Unplug this apparatus
during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Fuse
To prevent the risk of re and damaging the unit, please use only of the recommended fuse type as described in the manual. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the unit
turned off and disconnected from the AC outlet.
Electrical Connection
Improper electrical wiring may invalidate the product warranty.
Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer
all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attachments or
parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Warning
Please remember the high sound pressure do not only temporarily damage your sense
of hearing, but can also cause permanent damage. Be careful to select a suitable volume.
Interference from cell phone
Using a cell phone near the wireless system can induce noise. If this occurs, move the
cell phone further away from the components of the wireless system.

SOUNDSATION WF-V11 is the answer to all those who need a reliable, high-quality
sound, and easy to use wireless microphone system. Ideal in educational, Portable
Sound, Public Address, and DJ contexts, the WF-V11 impresses with its brilliant and
warm sound, thanks to the quality of components and the capsule designed for all
application. WF-V11 systems are available in 2 congurations:

1. Power Switch: It switches on and off the receiver.

2. Power ON LED: When the unit in switched on it is lit.
3. RF LED: When lit, it means that a transmitter is active and the unit receive a ra-
dio-frequency signal. If this LED is off even though the transmitter is powered on, it
means that batteries are low, or transmitter and receiver frequency aren’t matched.
4. Volume Knob: It increases or decreases the output level of BALANCED and MIX
outputs.
5. Antenna: It receives RF signals from the transmitter.
6. Mix Output: It is the unbalanced audio line output with ¼” Jack to use in case of
connection to mixers or audio equipment with unbalanced connections.
7. Balance Output: It is the balanced XLR audio line output to connect to your mixer
or audio system. For more details about the internal wiring of balanced cables,
refer to paragraph "9. AUDIO CABLES" at page 11.
8. DC Input: Connect here the external power supply (12V – 400mA).
6. HANDHELD MICROPHONE FUNCTIONS
WF-V11H system features a handheld transmitter with profession-

al dynamic cardioid capsule. Below there’s a quick description of
main parts.
9. Grille: It protects the microphone capsule. Never remove it to
prevent damage to the internal parts of the microphone.

10. ON/MUTE/OFF Selector: This selector has 3 positions.
When it’s all to the OFF position, the microphone is turned
OFF
off; when it is MUTE position, the microphone is active but
the audio is disabled; nally, when it’s all to ON position, the
microphone is working and the audio is active.

NOTE: Standby central position allows the unit to
transmit without audio. This option is important to prevent
interference in the receiver due to the absence of a radio
transmitting signal. It is, therefore, suggested to ALWAYS use
this standby position when you temporarily don’t sing or play
but the wireless microphone is connected to an audio system
(e.g. during a pause in a show). You can move the switch to OFF position (all
down) only when you are sure that the sound system volume is low.
11. Power LED: It briey lights up when the transmitter is on. In case of battery low,
it keeps on lighting, warning that you need to replace the batteries as soon as
possible.

12. Battery Slot: unscrew the cover to access battery-compartment and insert or
replace the batteries. Use two 1.5V AA-Type batteries, paying attention to correct
polarity (indicated on bottom of this battery compartment).

ATTENTION: Operating distance between microphone grill and mouth must be
less than 15cm
f Avoid direct the microphone toward a speaker to avoid Larsen effect, which could
damage your audio system.
7. POCKET TRANSMITTER AND HEADSET

14. Power LED: It lights up when the transmitter is on.

16. Volume: Adjust the audio input level of the transmitter. Use this knob to adapt microphone signal
level in order to prevent distorted sound.
17. Antenna: It transmits the radio signal. Be careful
not to bend or break this terminal.
18. Battery Slot: Insert two 1.5V AA-Type batteries, paying attention to correct polarity (indicated on bottom of this battery compartment). After that, pull the switch
to “ON” side, if Power LED doesn’t light brieu, check whether battery in correct
polarity or is low of power. If the Power LED is always lit, please change with new
batteries.

19. Battery Slot Cover: Open this cover to access to insert or replace the batteries.
Following the instructions for their replacement:
f Apply a slight pressure at both sides of the door and pull down.
f Insert or replace the batteries in the compartment, observing the +/- polarity marked
on the bottom.
f Close the cover to prevent batteries to be lost during use.
8. SYSTEM INSTALLATION
Before using the system, please be sure that the receiver is correctly placed at a
distance of about 1m from oor, and 1m from walls or other big physical obstacles
(columns or other radio-frequency equipment).
f Pull out receiver antenna (5) and make it to be perpendicular with the receiver.
f Connect the supplied power adapter to the DC input socket (8). Make sure that
mains voltage of the adapter is suitable with your mains outlet voltage before using

the receiver.

NOTE: Before switching on the Receiver, turn the volume control knob to mini-
mum, adjust the volume as needed when the Receiver is working.
9. AUDIO CABLES
You need XLR balanced cables for connections to your audio equipment. See the
pictures below that show the internal wiring of these cables. Be sure to use only high
quality cables (visit our website www.soundsationmusic.com for further details).

11. WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic
to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing
faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual
parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a
warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION
dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the
original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE
CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service
center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the product.

1. Tasto Power: accende e spegne il ricevitore.
2. Led Power On: si accende quando il ricevitore è acceso
3. LED RF: Quando è acceso, signica che il trasmettitore è attivo e l’unità riceve il segnale
in radiofrequenza. Se il LED è spento anche se il trasmettitore è acceso, signica che le
batterie sono scariche, o le frequenze del trasmettitore e del ricevitore non corrispondono.
4. Manopola Volume: Aumenta o diminuisce il livello di uscita di uscite bilanciate e MIX.
5. Antenna: riceve i segnali RF dal trasmettitore.
6. Uscita MIX: è l’uscita audio di linea sbilanciata con jack da 6,3mm da utilizzare in
caso di collegamento a mixer o apparecchiature audio con connessioni sbilanciate.
7. Uscita Bilanciata: E’ l’uscita bilanciata XLR audio per la connessione al mixer o al
sistema audio. Per ulteriori dettagli sul cablaggio interno dei cavi bilanciati, fare
riferimento al paragrafo “21. CONNESSIONI AUDIO” a pagina 32.
8. Ingresso DC: collegare qui l’alimentatore esterno (12V - 400mA).

esempio durante una pausa in uno spettacolo). È possibile spostare l’interruttore in posizione OFF (tutto spento) solo quando si è sicuri che il volume del
sistema audio è basso.

trasmettere senza audio. Questa opzione è importante per
evitare interferenze nel ricevitore in assenza di un segnale radio trasmittente. E’, quindi, suggerito di utilizzare SEMPRE la
posizione di standby quando temporaneamente non si canta o

16. Volume: Regolare il livello di ingresso audio del trasmettitore. Utilizzare questa
manopola per adattare il livello del segnale del microfono al ne di prevenire suono
distorto.
17. Antenna: Trasmette in segnale radio. Fare attenzione a non piegare o rompere
questo terminale.
18. Vano batteria: Inserire due batterie da 1.5V tipo AA, prestando attenzione alla
corretta polarità (indicata sul fondo del comparto batterie). Successivamente,
spostare l’interruttore su “ON”, se il LED dell’alimentazione è sempre acceso, si prega
di cambiare con le nuove batterie.
19. Coperchio del vano batterie: Aprire questo coperchio per inserire nuove batterie o
sostituire quelle esaurite. Seguire le istruzioni per il loro riposizionamento:
f Applicare una leggera pressione su entrambi i lati della porta e premere in giù.
f Inserire o sostituire le batterie nel comparto, osservando la polarità +/- indicata sul
fondo.
f Chiudere il coperchio per impedire che le batterie vengano perse durante l’uso.
20. INSTALLAZIONE DEL SISTEMA
Prima di usare il sistema, assicurarsi che
il ricevitore sia correttamente posizionato
ad una distanza di almeno 1m dal suolo,
e a 1m dal muro o da un altro ostacolo
sico di grandi dimensioni (colonne o altre
apparecchiature a radiofrequenza).

f Estrarre l’antenna (5), rendendola
perpendicolare al ricevitore.
f Collegare l’alimentatore in dotazione
alla presa di ingresso DC (8). Assicurarsi che la tensione dell’adattatore di rete sia
adatto con la tensione della presa di rete prima di utilizzare il ricevitore
f Collegare un’uscita audio bilanciata (7) o sbilanciata (6) al mixer o al sistema audio,
utilizzando i cavi appropriati (vedere la sezione seguente “21. CONNESSIONI AUDIO”
a pagina 32 per ulteriori dettagli)
f Accendere il ricevitore premendo il bottone POWER (1); il led POWER si illuminerà.
NOTA: Prima di accendere il ricevitore, ruotare la manopola del volume
al minimo, regolare il volume come necessario quando il ricevitore sta
funzionando.

21. CONNESSIONI AUDIO
E’ necessario l’utilizzo di cavi bilanciati XLR per i collegamenti con l’apparecchiatura
audio. Vedere le immagini qui sotto che mostrano il cablaggio interno di questi cavi.
Assicurarsi di utilizzare solo i cavi di alta qualità (visitare il nostro sito www.soundsation-
