When you’ll open the box you will find the following items:

The packaging bag is not a toy! Keep out of reach of children!!!
Keep in a safe place the original packaging material for future use.

If any foreign objects enter the instrument, please contact your dealer or an authorized SOUNDSATION center.
The serial number, electrical features and international standards are printed in the back panel of the Active Mixer.
In case of problems remember to give the serial number to the responsible of the technical assistance.
GENERAL WARNINGS
To prevent possible damages read the following list of actions:
- Do not place the instrument in wet or dirty environments.
- Do not remove the protective coverings.
-Do not cover any of the instrument’s ventilation holes.
- Air must circulate freely around the instrument.
- Do not set the instrument on a surface with excessive vibration.
- Do not expose the instrument to electro-magnetic interference.
- Do not expose the instrument to heat, cold, wet or dust.
- Do not leave the instrument in direct sunlight.
- Do not expose the instrument to electrostatic forces.
- Do not place items with flames, such as candles or lighters, on the instrument.
- Do not place the instrument on anything containing water or other fluids.

The PA-120 MK2 system is designed to be a powerful resource for live and educational purpose. The friendly user interface is one of the best features of this product and this allow you to configure your sound device in a fast and easy way.
The 6 Channel Active Mixer let you plug all the microphones or instrument you need for the entertainment thanks to the XLR inputs, the RCA and the mini-jack interface on Ch5/6 that allows you to plug a computer (Win or Mac), a smartphone or a portable MP3 player.
To increase the quality and get a great response the Mixer features Dual Band EQ on each Channel and a Trial Band EQ on the Master Section. This helps to improve the Sound Quality as well as removing some possible disturb on the input signal.
To reach the best performance PA-120 MK2 is equipped with a Reverb+Delay 24BIT DSP FX to add to your MIC inputs choosing the amount for each Channel with the related knob integrated in every Channel Strip. In the FX section you can adjust the General Level, the Time and the Repeat of the effect
To let the PA-120 MK2 be an advanced Multimedia device SOUNDSATION introduced in this system the USB input to plug an USB Mass Storage as well as an SD Slot Card allowing you to reproduce all your music tracks in the best way.
The bundle is completed by a Dynamic Microphone supplied with is own cable.

Channel Strip
1 - Use this XLR input to connect a Microphone. The Input Impedance is 2KOhm.
2 - Use this Jack input to connect a Guitar, a Keyboard, a Drum Machine or any other Jack
based source.
3 - This Stereo Input can be used to connect an Educational keyboard, a CD input or any

FX SECTION
PA-120 mk2 is equipped with a Genuine 24 bit FX DSP featuring a Delay/Reverb effect useful to add more emphasis to the human voices.
These 3 knobs allow to adjust:
LEVEL - the total amount of the FX to send to the Master Section
TIME - the interval between 2 delays
REPEAT - the rate of the delays
EQ SECTION
Each channel has got his own Equalization but, in order to improve the quality of the sound, there is also a general Equalization that helps to define the final mix result.
The 3 knobs adjust:
-LO adjust Bass frequencies +/- 15 dB with 80Hz cut point
-MID adjust Middle frequencies +/- 15dB with 3 KHz cut point
- HI adjust High Frequencies +/- 15 dB with 12KHz cut point

LINE IN, MONITOR OUT & RCA
1 - This input is useful to connect a stereo line source like MP3 player, a computer or a smartphone with a 3,5mm jack.
2 - This stereo output (balanced) is useful to connect to the mixer a couple of active speakers or a stage monitor. The signal is a copy of the Master out.
3 - This RCA input accepts a stereo line source like a CD/DVD player or a TAPE recorder. The level of this input can be adjusted with the related control placed next to the Master Knob.
4 – The REC OUT is useful to send a stereo line signal to a recorder via RCA connectors.
MASTER SECTION
These 2 knobs controls respectively:
-the amount of CD/Tape input signal to send to the Master Out
-the general Volume of the Mixer (what you will hear trough the speakers)

DIGITAL PLAYER
1 Play/Pause - Press this button to play the chosen song. Press it again to momentarily
interrupt the playing. Press a third time to continue the reading of the song.
2 Stop - Press this button to end the song
3 Volume + - Use this button to increase the Volume
4 Volume - - Use this button to disincrease the Volume
5 Next Song - Press this button once to go to the next song.
6 Prev Song - Press this button once to go to the previous song.
7 Repeat - Press this button once to play the current song repeatedly
8 EQ -Use this button to select different Equalization preset (Normal, Jazz,Rock,Pop,Classic)
9 USB/SD - This button let you choose between USB or SD card source

The 2 passive speakers are 150W power (max) and features 1 x 10” Woofer and 1 x Piezo Tweeter with a Frequency Response of 50Hz to 18 KHz. Under each wood case there is a typical 35mm Fixing hole plate to let you setup these units with a Speaker Stands. (we strongly recommend to use genuine SOUNDSATION stands to prevent possible damages to the items).

The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty :
- Any accessories supplied with the product
- Improper use
- Fault due to wear and tear

exchanging individual parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the product.
