Water / Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used near
water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.
Ventilation
Do not block areas of ventilation opening. Failure to do could result in re. Always
install according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for
safety.
Power Cord and Plug
Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not defeat
the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two
poles; a grounding-type plug has two poles and a third grounding terminal. The third
prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, refer
to an electrician for replacement.
Fuse
To prevent the risk of re and damaging the unit, please use only of the recommended fuse type as described in the manual. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the unit
turned off and disconnected from the AC outlet.
Electrical Connection
Improper electrical wiring may invalidate the product warranty.
Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer

all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attachments or
parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Warning
Please remember the high sound pressure do not only temporarily damage your sense
of hearing, but can also cause permanent damage. Be careful to select a suitable volume.

2. ACCESSORIES
SOUNDSATION can supply a wide range of quality accessories that you can use with
your LIVEMAKER MIX Series system, like Cables, Microphones, stands, etc.
All products in our catalogue has been long tested with this device so we recommend
to use Genuine SOUNDSATION Accessories and Spare Parts.
Ask your SOUNDSATION dealer for any accessories you could need to ensure best
performance of the product.
3. OVERVIEW
LIVEMAKER MIX Series is a 2.1 PA system line designed as compact systems for live
music and educational purposes. It integrates an 8-channel mixer with Digital Effects
and Bluetooth, three Class-D ampliers with switching power supply for 900W (1021
model) or 1500W (1521 model) total peak power, generous 10” or 15” subwoofers and
two satellites with a, respectively, 6.5” or 8” woofers and 1” or 1.4” HF drivers.
This series represents the perfect answer to those who need professional sound systems, but have problems of space, move with not very big cars or vans, and have a lot

of audio sources to be connected. Not only, but they also need a professional reverb
and, if necessary, want to connect a mobile phone, a tablet or a computer to play their
play-lists.
Both the subwoofer and the two tops are equipped with 36mm hole for pole or tripod.
The reinforced MDF cabinets are robust, lightweight and nished with anti-scratch
paint, to make them resistant to the rigors of the stage.

5. SUBWOOFER REAR PANEL
LIVEMAKER MIX Series systems have a lot of connections and controls whose use it is
important to know.
1) LINE OUT L (MONO) /R jacks
These jacks output mixed signal channels from 1 to 7/8. When DIRECT/MASTER LEVEL
switch is pressed, level is adjusted by MASTER control; when it is unpressed, that level
is xed. These outputs are convenient for connecting an external powered speaker for
monitoring purposes, or recording the mix.
2) MICROPHONE inputs (CH 1 to 4)
These balanced inputs can be used for connecting microphones, keyboards, guitars or
other instrument/device. For low-level signals (such as microphones), set the MIC/LINE
switch to the MIC ( ) position. For high-level signals (such as keyboard instruments
and audio equipment), set the MIC/LINE switch to the LINE ( ) position.
NOTE: On channels 1 to 4, you may use either XLR or phone jack connectors,
but not both. Please connect to only one of these on each channel. Please
also notice that these channels do not supply +48V Phantom Power, so you
can use condenser microphones only if self-powered.

3) Stereo channel input jacks (CH 5/6)
Input the left and right channels of a stereo signal into the respective Left and Right
channels of the mixer. These inputs are intended mainly for use with instruments and
equipment having stereo outputs, such as a synthesizers, CD players, etc.
NOTE: The channel 5/6 input provides two sets of jacks (1/4” phone jacks and
RCA-pin jacks). Either one of these jacks may be used, but not both at the
same time. Please use only one of these jack pairs at a time.
4) Bluetooth (CH 7/8)
This stereo channel is used to pair the speaker to a Bluetooth device, such as a mobile
phone, a tablet or a computer. To pair your device please follow the instructions below:

1. Switch on your LIVEMAKER MIX system. The PAIRED LED will ash.
2. From your Bluetooth device’s settings page, enable Bluetooth and select LG-001 as
device. When paired successfully, PAIRED LED will be lit.
3. Turn your Bluetooth device’s volume to its lowest setting.
4. On your Bluetooth device, play music; then we recommend setting the Bluetooth
device’s volume at its maximum.
5. Once your device is paired to the speaker; this latter will be remembered. To reconnect, go to your device’s Bluetooth settings page and select “Connect” to re-establish the connection.
5) MIC/LINE switch
Set this switch to MIC or LINE for channels 1 to 4, depending on the level of the input
signal. For low-level signals (such as microphones), set the switch to the MIC ( ) position. For high-level signals (such as keyboard instruments and audio equipment), set
the switch to the LINE ( ) position.
6) Equalizer
HIGH knobs determine the level of the high frequency band for each channel. By rotating the knob clockwise, you boost the high frequencies and produce a clearer, crisper
sound. If you start getting feedback (a high-pitched squealing sound) or you want to
make the sound softer and less harsh, turn the knob counterclockwise slightly.
LOW knobs determine the level of the low frequency band for each channel. By rotating
the knob clockwise, you boost the low frequencies and produces a deeper, warmer
sound. If you start getting feedback or you want to make the sound less “boomy”, turn
the knob counterclockwise slightly.
7) EFX switch
Set this switch to ON to recreate the rich ambience of various performance environments, such as a concert hall or a night club. The switch lights up in green when
REVERB is ON ( ).
8) PAN control
Used to spatially place the channel within the stereo eld.
9) LEVEL control
Use these controls to adjust volume balance among various channels.
WARNING: To reduce noise, set any LEVEL controls on unused channels to
the minimum.
10) MASTER LEVEL Control
It determines the volume of the system (both subwoofer and satellites) and the signal
output from the LINE OUT L/R jacks when DIRECT/MASTER LEVEL switch is pressed.
This allows you to adjust the overall volume without changing the relative volume balance among the various channels (made with the LEVEL controls).

11) EFFECT control
It selects the effect type as listed below and shown:

12) EFX VOL control
It determines the overall level of the Effect applied to the output signal. For best results,
this level should not be set very high, to avoid possible feedback and prevent the
sound from getting “muddy” with too much reverb.
13) LEVEL meter
LEVEL meter shows the level of the output signal from the speakers (subwoofer and
tops) and from LINE OUT L/R jacks.

section is being excessively overloaded and may malfunction. Reduce the
outputlevelwiththeMASTERLEVELcontrolsothattheindicatorashesonly
brieyonthehighesttransientpeaks.
14) POWER On LED
This LED lights up when the system is connected to a mains outlet and the power
switch is set to ON.
15) SUB LEVEL control
Use these controls to adjust the SUB volume balance. Start by turning this knob to cen-
ter position (0), then increase or decrease its value according to your desire sound.
16) Right\Left Satellite Amp Output
Connect these speaker outputs to the left and right satellites using the factory-included
speaker cables with SPEAKON connectors, paying attention to respect the correspondence between LEFT SPEAKER OUTPUT - Top Speaker; RIGHT SPEAKER OUTPUT - Right
Speaker.
NOTE: Be sure to rotate the SPEAKON connectors clockwise until they lock
in place! In case you need to reply or extend their length, always use speaker
cables with minimum 2x1.00 mm2 wire section.

17) Power Input
Use the factory-included power cord to connect from this socket to a wall mains outlet.
Check voltage before switching the unit on; be sure it is 220V/240V - 50Hz). Wire cor-
respondence is as follows:

The earth must to be connected! Pay attention to the safety!
Before taking into operation for the rst time, the installation has to be approved by an
expert.
18) Power Switch
It switches On/Off the system. The green Power-On LED below the level meter bar lights
up when the system is switched on.
TIP: The LIVEMAKER MIX system should always be switched on last after you
powerupallequipmentconnectedtoit,andshouldbeswitchedoffrst
before you switch off all the other equipment connected to it.

woofer rear panel using the supplied speaker cables. Please notice that the two connectors are in parallel.
Note: Be sure to twist the SPEAKON connectors clockwise until they lock in
place!
Both top speakers and subwoofer are equipped with standard Ø36mm adapter for
mounting on pole or tripod speaker stands. It’s strongly it recommended the use of
SOUNDSATION stage equipment (visit www.soundsationmusic.com for more details).
6.1. Audio Connection
You need balanced and unbalanced cables for connections to and from the system. See
the pictures below that show the internal wiring of these cables. Be sure to use only
high quality cables (visit our website www.soundsationmusic.com for further details).

You can, of course, connect even unbalanced equipment to balanced inputs. Use either
mono and stereo jack, making sure ring and collar are connected together (or pins 1 &
3 in the case of XLR connectors).

7. TROUBLESHOOTING

Is the LIMIT LED ashing continuously? If the LIMIT LED is ashing, the
amplier is being used beyond its design capabilities. Turn down LEVEL

10. WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic
to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing
faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual
parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a
warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION
dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the
original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE
CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service
center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the product.

Acqua e Umidita’
L’apparecchio deve essere protetto dall’umidità e dalla pioggia, non può essere usato
in prossimità di acqua; ad esempio nei pressi di una vasca da bagno, di un lavandino, di
una piscina, etc.
Calore
L’apparecchio deve essere posto lontano da fonti di calore come radiatori, stufe o altri
apparecchi che producono calore.
Ventilazione
Non ostruite le prese d’aria per la ventilazione: ciò potrebbe provocare incendi. Installate sempre l’unità secondo le istruzioni del produttore.

Cavo di alimentazione e spina
Evitate che il cavo di alimentazione venga calpestato o schiacciato, in particolare in
prossimità delle spine, delle prese e del punto in cui fuoriesce dall’apparecchio. Non
vanicate la nalità di sicurezza della spina con messa a terra. Una spina normale o
“polarizzata” ha due soli terminali; una spina con messa a terra ha un terzo polo di
terra. Questo ulteriore terminale serve per la vostra sicurezza. Se la spina fornita non si
inserisce nella presa, consultate un elettricista per l’eventuale sostituzione.
Alimentazione
L’apparecchio deve essere collegato alla sorgente di alimentazione elettrica del tipo
indicato sull’apparecchio o descritto nel manuale. In caso contrario si potrebbero
provocare danni al prodotto ed eventualmente all’utente. Staccate la spina in caso di
temporali o quando non viene utilizzato per lunghi periodi di tempo.
Fusibile
Per evitare il rischio di incendi e di danni all’unità, utilizzate solo il tipo di fusibile descritto nel manuale. Prima di sostituire il fusibile, assicuratevi che l’apparecchio sia spento e scollegato dalla presa di corrente.

vostro sistema LIVEMAKER MIX, come ad esempio Cavi, Microfoni, Supporti per casse,
etc. Tutti gli articoli presenti a catalogo e compatibili sono stati testati professionalmente dal nostro team con i LIVEMAKER MIX, quindi raccomandiamo vivamente di utilizzare
prodotti ed accessori originali SOUNDSATION.
Chiedi al tuo negoziante autorizzato SOUNDSATION la lista degli accessori originali
compatibili, in questo modo ti assicurerai una performance ottimale.
14. INTRODUZIONE
I sistemi audio 2.1 della serie LIVEMAKER MIX sono pensati come impianti audio portatili sia per l’utilizzo Live che per scopi educativi. Essi integrano un mixer 8 canali con
Effetto Digitale e Bluetooth, 3 amplicatori in classe-D con alimentazione switching per un totale di 900W (modello 1021) o 1500W (modello 1521) di picco, un subwoofer,
rispettivamente, da 10” e 15”, due satelliti con woofer da 6.5” o 8” e driver da 1” o da

1.4”.
Rappresentano davvero la risposta ideale a chi ha bisogno di sistemi audio sosticati
ma ha problemi di spazio, si muove con un mezzo non molto grande ma ha un certo
numero di sorgenti audio da amplicare. Non solo, ma ha anche bisogno di un reverbero professionale per i cantanti e, all’occorrenza, vuole collegare il proprio telefono
cellulare, tablet o computer per suonare le sue playlist.
Sia il sub che i due top sono provvisti di foro da 36mm per palo o stativo. I cabinet
in MDF rinforzato sono robusti, leggeri e rivestiti di vernice anti-grafo per rendere il
sistema resistente ai rigori del palcoscenico.

16. DESCRIZIONE DEL PANELLO POSTERIORE
I sistemi della serie LIVEMAKER MIX hanno numerose connessioni, controlli ed indicatori il cui uso è importante conoscere.
1) JACK LINE OUT L (MONO) / R
Questi uscite riportano il mix dei segnali da 1 a 7/8. Quando il tasto DIRECT/MASTER
LEVEL è premuto, il livello è regolato dal controllo MASTER; quando è disinserito, il
livello è sso. Questi jack sono utili per collegare dei diffusori attivi esterni o per registrare.
2) INGRESSI Microfonici (CH-1 a CH-4)
Questi ingressi bilanciati possono essere usati per collegare microfoni, tastiere, chitarre
o altri strumenti/apparecchi. In caso di segnali a basso livello (come microfoni), impostare il tasto MIC/LINE in posizione MIC ( ). Per segnali a livello di linea (come tastiere,
lettori CD o altri apparecchi audio), impostare il tasto MIC/LINE in posizione MIC ( ).
NOTA: Sui canali 1 - 4, è possibile usare sia l’XLR che il Jack da 6.3mm, ma
non simultaneamente: usateli sempre e solo uno per volta. Inoltre, questi
canali non forniscono alimentazione Phantom a +48V, pertanto è possibile
usare solo microfoni dinamici o microfoni a condensatore auto-alimentati.

13) Ingresso Stereo (Ch 5/6)
Amplica i canali sinistro e destro di un segnale stereo nelle rispettive uscite sinistra e
destra del sistema audio o del mixer. Questi ingressi sono pensati per amplicare stru-
menti o apparecchiature dotate di uscite stereo, come sintetizzatori, lettori CD, batterie
elettroniche, ecc.
NOTA: Il canali 5/6 sono datati di 2 tipi di connettore (jack da 6.3mm e 1/4”
pin-RCA). Entrambi possono essere usati, ma non simultaneamente: usateli
sempre e solo uno per volta.
4) Bluetooth (CH 7/8)
Questo ingresso stereo è usato per collegare dispositivi Bluetooth, come tablet, mobile
phones o computer. Per avviare la procedura di pairing, seguite le seguenti istruzioni:

1. Accendete il LIVEMAKER MIX. Il LED PAIRED lampeggia.
2. Dalla pagine di impostazioni Bluetooth del dispositivo, selezionate LG-001 come
periferica. Una volta terminato, il LED PAIRED si illumina in modo sso.
3. Impostate il volume al minimo sul vostro dispositivo Bluetooth; quindi eseguite dei
brani ed portate gradualmente il volume prima sul dispositivo, poi sul sistema.
4. Una volta effettuato il pairing del LIVEMAKER sul vostro dispositivo Bluetooth,
verrà memorizzato è, qualora in seguito vogliate riutilizzarlo, basterà premere “con-
nect” per ristabilire la connessione.
5) MIC/LINE switch
Adattano il guadagno dei canali 1-4 al livello del segnale di ingresso. Per segnali a
basso livello (come microfoni), impostare il tasto MIC/LINE in posizione MIC ( ). Per
segnali a livello di linea (come tastiere o lettori CD o altri apparecchi audio), impostare il
tasto MIC/LINE in posizione MIC ( ).
6) Equalizzatore
Il controllo HIGH su ciascun canale aumenta o diminuisce le alte frequenze. Ruotandolo
in senso orario, si incrementano gli alti, ottenendo un suono più chiaro e cristallino. In
caso di schi (larsen), soprattutto in caso di uso di microfoni, ruotate in senso antiorario
no all’annullamento del problema.
Il controllo LOW su ciascun canale aumenta o diminuisce le basse frequenze. Ruotandolo in senso orario, si incrementano i bassi, ottenendo un suono più profondo e caldo.
In caso di rimbombi eccessivi, soprattutto quando si usano microfoni, ruotate in senso
antiorario no all’annullamento del problema.
7) Interruttore EFX
Premete questi interruttori per ricreare le sonorità di vari ambienti, come un auditorium
o un locale per concerti. Il LED di anco a ciascun interruttore si illumina quando il
relativo tasto è in posizione ON ( ).
8) Controllo PAN
Servono a disporre il canale nel panorama stereofonico.
9) Controlli LEVEL
Regolano i livelli dei singoli canali.
SUGGERIMENTO: Per ridurre il fruscio, abbassate al minimo tutti i livelli dei
canali non utilizzati.
10) Controllo di livello Master
Regola il volume del sistema (sia del sub che dei satelliti) e il segnale delle uscite LINE
OUT L/R quando il tasto DIRECT/MASTER LEVEL è premuto.
11) Manopola EFFECT
Seleziona il tipo di effetto secondo la lista seguente:

12) Controllo EFX VOL
Determina il livello generale dell’effetto applicato agli ingressi 1-4. Per un risultato
ottimale, non alzare troppo questo volume per evitare schi o rendere il suono troppo
“impastato”.
13) Misuratore di Livello
Il misuratore di livello mostra l’intensità del segnale di uscita negli altoparlanti (subwoofer e top) e nelle uscite LINE OUT L/R.
ATTENZIONE: Se il LED LIMIT lampeggia costantemente, state sovraccarican-
dol’amplicatore.RiduceteillivellodiuscitaconMASTERLEVELinmodo
che questo indicatore lampeggi solo occasionalmente.
14) LED POWER
Questo LED si illumina quando il sistema è collegato ad una presa e l’interruttore
POWER è su ON.
15) Controllo di Livello SUB
Regola il bilanciamento del sub rispetto ai satelliti. Partite dalla posizione centrale (0),
quindi aumentate o diminuite il suo valore a seconda del suono desiderato.
16) USCITE Right\Left per i Satelliti
Collegate queste uscite ai due satelliti sinistro e destro con i cavi Speakon / Speakon in
dotazione. Fate attenzione a rispettare la corrispondenza uscita sinistra - top sinistro,
uscita destra - top destro.

17) Ingesso Power
Usate il cavo di alimentazione in dotazione per collegare il sistema ad una presa
elettrica. Controllate che l’alimentazione sia di 220/240V - 50Hz prima di accendere. La
corrispondenza interna dei li è:

La terra deve sempre essere collegata! Prestate sempre attenzione alla vostra
sicurezza!
In caso di sostituzione del cavo, prima di accendere il sistema, fate controllare l’installazione da un esperto.
18) Interruttore Power
Accende/spegne il sistema. Quando acceso, il LED verde POWER sulla barra LED è
illuminato.
SUGGERIMENTO: Una volta aver collegato tutte le sorgenti al LIVEMAKER
MIX, questo deve essere sempre acceso per ultimo e spento per primo.
16.1. Connessioni Audio
Per completare le connessioni audio del LIVEMAKER MIX avete bisogno di cavi di
collegamento da e verso il sistema. Fate riferimento al disegno seguente che mostra il
collegamento interno dei conduttori. Assicuratevi di usare solo cavi audio di alta qualità
(visitate il sito www.soundsationmusic.com per ulteriori dettagli).

Tutti i prodotti SOUNDSATION dispongono di una garanzia di due anni. Questa garanzia di due
anni è valida dalla data di acquisto, come indicato dal documento di acquisto.
I seguenti casi / componenti non sono coperti dalla garanzia di cui sopra:

da un prodotto durante il corso di una richiesta di garanzia diventano di proprietà di SOUNDSATION.
Durante il periodo di garanzia, i prodotti difettosi possono essere restituiti al rivenditore SOUNDSATION locale con prova di acquisto originale. Per evitare danni durante il trasporto, si prega di
