1. INTRODUCTION
ADX-800 LINK is a DI-Box (Direct Injection Box) that converts up
to two unbalanced audio signals (e.g. electric and / or acoustic
guitars and basses, line signals such as guitar preamps, key-
boards, multi-eects, computers, etc.) in balanced signals with
XLR connections. This allows not only to attenuate the interfer-
ences that normally the unbalanced cables collect in the medi-
um-long distances, but also acts as a splitter with a maximum
of 3 outputs for Channel1 (2 XLR outputs + 1 balanced ¼” TRS
Jack).
It can be powered either by the supplied power adapter, or
through the + 48V Phantom power coming from the mixer.
It is equipped with a 3-position input attenuator (0dB, 20dB,
40dB) - to adapt the preamp stage to all types of signals - and
the lift ground switch, very useful in case of ground loop.
ADX-800 LINK is essentially an indispensable tool on stage, in
the rehearsal room and recording studio to solve problems for
musicians, DJs and sound engineers.

1. Power Input - Connect the supplied power adapter here.
If you need to replace the adapter or because it is lost
or damaged, be careful to buy a new one with the same
electrical characteristics. Consult the table “4. TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS” on page 8 for further details.
2. CH2 Input - This 1/4 “(6.3mm) TRS jack connector functions as balanced / unbalanced channel 2 input when the
MODE selector is in position A (2-CH), or as channel 1
output 3 with MODE selector in position B (LINK ).
3. CH2 Output - This 3-pin XLR balanced connector works as
a balanced channel 2 output when the MODE selector is in
position A (2-CH), as a balanced channel 2 output 2 when
the MODE selector is in position B (LINK).
4. CH1 Output - This 3-pin XLR balanced connector func-
tions as a balanced channel 1 output both when the MODE
selector is in position A (2-CH) and when it is in position B
(LINK).
5. CH1 Input - This 1/4” (6.3mm) TRS jack connector works
as balanced/unbalanced channel 1 input both when MODE
selector is in position A (2-CH) and when it is in position B
(LINK).

6. Attenuation - This 3-position selector allows you to set the
gain of the preamp stages of both in channels 1 and 2 at
0dB, -20dB and -40dB, thus allowing you to adapt the ADX-
800 LINK to any type of input signal (electric guitars and
basses, acoustic guitars or other acoustic instruments with

7. Mode - This selector switches between mode A and B. In
mode A the ADX-800 LINK functions as a 2-channel DI-Box,
so the rst two connectors are the input (5) and the output
(4) of the channel 1; the other two are input (2) and output
(3) of channel 2. In mode B the ADX-800 LINK works as a
splitter with one input (5), two balanced XLR outputs (3 and
4), and a balanced 1/4 “jack output.
8. Ground - This selector allows you to lift or leave the
ground connected. It can be very helpful to remove
interference due to ground loops, typical of connections
between dierent devices with dierent circuits.
9. DC In - It is the device on / o selector.
10. PWR - This LED lights up when the ADX-800 LINK is con-
nected to the external power supply and the DC IN selector
is in the ON position, or when the device is powered
through the Phantom Power from a mixer or other equipment connected to the balanced outputs with connectors

5. WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic to the date of purchase as
shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the
above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product eected by the user or a
third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing faults free of charge at
SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging
individual parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts
removed from a product during the course of a warranty claim
shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be
returned to your local SOUNDSATION dealer together with
original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit,
please use the original packaging if available. Alternatively you
can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE CENTER – Via
Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send
a product to service center you need an RMA number. Shipping
charges have to be covered by the owner of the product.

1. INTRODUZIONE
ADX-800 LINK è una DI-Box (Direct Injection Box) che converte
no a due segnali audio sbilanciati (ad es. chitarre e bassi elettrici e/o acustici, segnali di linea come tastiere, preamp per chitarra, multieetti, computer, ecc.) in segnali bilanciati con connes-
sioni XLR. Questo permette non solo di attenuare le interferenze
che normalmente i cavi sbilanciati raccolgono nelle distanze
media-lunghe, ma funge anche da splitter con massimo 3 uscite
sull’ingresso 1 (2 uscite XLR + 1 Jack TRS bilanciato da ¼”).
Può essere alimentato sia dall’adattatore di rete in dotazione,
sia attraverso l’alimentazione Phantom +48V proveniente dal
mixer. E’ dotata di attenuatore di ingresso a 3 posizioni (0dB,
20dB, 40dB) – per adattare lo stadio di preamplicazione a tutti
i tipi di segnali – e di sollevatore di messa a terra, molto utile in
caso di anelli di massa che possono generare ronzii. ADX-800
LINK è in sostanza, uno strumento assolutamente indispensabile
sul palco, in sala prova e studio di registrazione per risolvere
problemi a musicisti, DJ e ingegneri del suono.

1. Ingresso alimentazione - Collegare qui l’alimentatore in
dotazione. Se è necessario sostituire l’adattatore perché
smarrito o danneggiato, fare attenzione ad acquistarne uno
nuovo con le stesse caratteristiche elettriche. Consultare
la tabella “4. SPECIFICHE TECNICHE” a pagina 16 per
ulteriori dettagli.
2. Ingresso CH2 - Questo connettore jack TRS da 1/4“ (6,3
mm) funziona come ingresso del canale 2 bilanciato/sbilan-
ciato quando il selettore MODE è in posizione A (2-CH), o
come uscita 3 del canale 1 con selettore MODE in posizione
B (LINK).
3. Uscita CH2 - Questo connettore bilanciato XLR a 3 pin
funziona come un’uscita del canale 2 bilanciata quando il
selettore MODE è in posizione A (2-CH), o come uscita 2
del canale 2 bilanciata quando il selettore MODE è nella
posizione B (LINK).
4. Uscita CH1 - Questo connettore bilanciato XLR a 3 pin
funziona come uscita del canale 1 bilanciata sia quando il
selettore MODE è in posizione A (2-CH), sia quando è in
posizione B (LINK).
5. Ingresso CH1 - Questo connettore jack TRS da 1/4 “(6,3
mm) funziona come ingresso del canale 1 bilanciato/sbilan-
ciato sia quando il selettore MODE è in posizione A (2-CH),
sia quando è in posizione B (LINK).

7. MODE - Questo selettore passa dalla modalità A alla B.
Nella modalità A, l’ADX-800 LINK funziona come una DIBox a 2 canali, quindi i primi due connettori sono l’ingresso
(5) e l’uscita (4) del canale 1 ; gli altri due sono l’ingresso (2)
e l’uscita (3) del canale 2. Nella modalità B l’DX-800 LINK
funziona come uno splitter con un ingresso (5), due uscite
XLR bilanciate (3 e 4) e una uscita bilanciata con jack da
1/4“ (6.3mm).
8. GROUND - questo selettore consente di sollevare o lasciare
la terra collegata. Può essere molto utile rimuovere le interferenze dovute a circuiti di terra, tipici delle connessioni tra
dispositivi diversi con circuiti diversi.
9. DC IN - È l’interruttore on/o di accensione del dispositivo.
10. PWR - Questo LED si accende quando l’ADX-800 LINK è

collegato all’adattatore di rete esterno e il selettore DC IN
è in posizione ON, o quando il dispositivo è alimentato
tramite Phantom Power da un mixer o altre apparecchiature
collegate a una delle uscite bilanciate con connettori XLR a
3 pin (3 e 4).

rimediando gratuitamente e a discrezione di SOUNDSATION
sia mediante riparazione o sostituendo singole parti o l’intero
apparecchio. Eventuali parti difettose rimosse da un prodotto
durante il corso di una richiesta di garanzia diventano di proprietà di SOUNDSATION.
Durante il periodo di garanzia, i prodotti difettosi possono
essere restituiti al rivenditore SOUNDSATION locale con prova
di acquisto originale. Per evitare danni durante il trasporto, si
prega di utilizzare l’imballo originale, se disponibile. In alterna-
