1. As with all electrical products do not use near water, when driving a car or when
operating heavy equipment.
CAUTIONS
1. Avoid breathing the ozone directly from the Airstone as it may irritate lung tissue.
Use in a well-ventilated area, such as under a stove top exhaust fan.
2. Do not operate the unit without the built-in air pump running. If the air pump is not
running there will be no bubbles coming from the airstone.
3. Do not leave the unit unattended while it is on.
4. While this technology is generally considered safe, there exists potential for rare
individual reactions that cannot reasonably be foreseen. Therefore, your use of
the SOTA Products constitutes your agreement that you are responsible for your
decision to use the technology. SOTA assumes no responsibility for any direct or
indirect loss or damage believed to arise from using the SOTA Products.

HOW TO USE THE WATER OZONATOR
1. Insert the power plug from the AC-DC Wall Adaptor into the unit and plug the
adaptor into an electrical outlet.
2. Connect the silicone tubing to the air
outlet pipe on the back of the Water
Ozonator.
Note: To make it easier to connect, dip
the end of the silicone tubing in water.
The silicone tubing will then slip on
easier.
3. Submerge the Airstone, attached to the
silicone tubing, in a glass container of water. Use a glass container as glass is ozone
resistant.

b. It is important to place the water with submerged airstone in a well-ventilated
area, as concentrated ozone in air may irritate lung tissue. For example, under a
stove-top fan. Place the container of ozonating water well away from the ozone
unit.
Note: Ozonating liquids other than water may clog the airstone and will void the
warranty on the airstone.
4. Move the toggle switch to the ON position. The GREEN light will come on.
5. Check to be sure ne bubbles pass out of the Airstone into the water. If you do not
see any bubbles, ensure the silicone tubing is rmly attached to the air outlet on the
side of the unit. As the unit operates, you should catch
the smell of ozone.
Note: If the amount of bubbles from the airstone
diminishes, it may be necessary to adjust the pump.
See WOZ3 Air Pump Adjustment on page 7.
6. For an 8 ounce or 250 ml cup of water, ozonate for
about 2 minutes.
Note: Refer to Timing to Saturate with Ozone on
page 5 for other volumes of water.
7. To turn OFF, move the toggle switch to the OFF
position.
Allow water to drain from the tubing after use. This
ensures water will not drain back into the unit.
8. Use the freshly ozonated water immediately for optimal results. If left for 20 minutes
in open air, the ozone dissipates out of the water. The benets of the extra oxygen
will no longer be present.
9. Turn the unit off and unplug the wall adaptor when not in use.
Notes:
Temperature of Water: Chilled water holds more ozone, however room temperature
water is healthier for the stomach.
Storage: Larger quantities of ozonated water can be stored in a glass container
with an air-tight lid. The amount of ozone in the water will continue to dissipate,
eventually leaving no ozone in the water.
Pump: If built-in air pump stops running, turn unit off and contact your closest
repair depot. See page 7.
TYPICAL USE
Quantity: It is usually best to gradually increase the intake of ozonated water. To
begin, it is suggested to ozonate only one glass of water a day. If well tolerated,
increase to two or more glasses of ozonated water daily.
Length of Use: 16 ounces (500 ml) or more a day for 2 to 3 months. For ongoing use,
drink up to 16 ounces (500 ml) a day or as preferred. If using for an extended period,
it is wise to take breaks.
TIMING TO SATURATE WITH OZONE
One cup of cold puried water is saturated with ozone within 2 minutes to over 1,000
mV ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential). 5-minutes is sufcient to ozonate up to 4
cups (1 quart or 1 liter) of puried water for either room temperature or ice water.

2 gallons or 8 liters30 minutes

STERILIZING WATER
The output of the Water Ozonator is sufcient to sterilize water. It does not remove
impurities such as heavy metals - a water ltration system is needed for that. The
amount of time required to sterilize water depends on the degree of contamination
of the water. The timing in the table above is for saturation only. More time may be
required to sterilize water.
Tests by two independent laboratories proved the effectiveness of the ozone generated
by a SOTA Water Ozonator in killing the following virulent pathogens:
Escherichia coli (E coli)Salmonella spp (typhoid fever)
Pseudomonas aeruginosaShigella spp
Staphylococcus aureusProteus mirabilis
Klebsiella sppCandida spp
ELECTRICAL SPECIFICATIONS
POWER REQUIREMENTS
12 Volts DC @ 1.5 Amps, Tip or Center Positive.
Caution: Exceeding the voltage rating or reverse connection may result in injury or unit failure. This will void the warranty.
OPTIONAL POWER INPUT
To operate the ozone generator from a 12 Volt DC source such as an automobile
battery, or an appropriate solar panel, purchase a Universal Power Cord with
POSITIVE tip.
OUTPUT SPECIFICATIONS
Greater than 108 mg/Hr O
@ 1.5 LPM. Measured using an Ozone-in-Air GM
3
Anseros Ozone Analyzer, Model Ozomat GM 6000-RT. Ozone concentration is 1.8
Gamma (mg/l or ug/ml) @ 0.5 LPM.
The air pump may need adjustment should the
amount of bubbles from the airstone diminish.
To adjust the speed of the air pump, insert
a small at jeweler’s screwdriver into the
opening of the air vent on the underside of the
unit. Adjust the speed either up or down as
necessary.
