Configuring data connection

on SonyEricsson

Serie T6xx & Serie Z6xx

 In general the data connection of a

new cell phone is properly configured
when you buy it. If your data
connection works, you can continue
reading the chapter „Installing the
mobile application“.

 If your data connection does not work,

it is highly recommended to request the
data configuration of your mobile
phone comfortably from your service
provider. On the website of your
service provider you are in general
supported during entering the required
data (e.g. your mobile phone model,

your mobile phone number, your

provider) .

 At the end you will receive an SMS

from your mobile service provider with
configuration settings for the network
you are using.

 Just follow the instructions sent to you

by SMS.

1.1. Manual data configuration

Step 1

 Select „Connectivity“ from the

main menu or „Options“ menü

Step 2

 Go to „Data Communication“

and then to „Data Accounts“

Step 3

 Now select „New Account“

 Activate „GPRS account“
