Using WAP with T610

The T610 has a browser that makes it possible for you to bring a modified Internet to your mobile phone.
A wide range of fun and useful services are available, for example, news, entertainment, timetables,
reservations, banking, e-commerce and wallpapers.

Before you start

Make sure you have your GPRS or GSM network operator and/or service provider subscription
information at hand before you start entering settings.

WAP account and settings

To be able to use WAP with your mobile phone, you need a phone that has a WAP browser and a phone
subscription that has data capability. You also need a correctly set data account for access to an Internet
server and a WAP profile for WAP browsing.

The settings you need may already be entered when you buy the phone, or you can enter them yourself in
three different ways:

• Automatically using the Sony Ericsson WAP configurator (if supported by your service provider)

• Receive them automatically from your service provider

• Manually by entering the settings in your T610

Please note that the WAP settings are different for different service providers.

Receive settings using the WAP configurator

You will find the Sony Ericsson WAP configurator at www.SonyEricsson.com/support. To be able to
receive the proper WAP settings you need the following information:

• Country (the country you are in)

• Name of service provider

•Phone model

Follow the simple instructions on the screen. You will receive the auto configuration via SMS. When you
receive the text message you simply press
using WAP in your mobile phone.

YES to install your new settings. You are now ready to start
