Accessing the Internet with
T610

With your T610 you have access to the Internet wherever you are. A wide range of fun and useful services
is available in your phone. You can access the Internet quickly and easily in three different ways:

• By pressing the Internet button on the right side of the phone.

• By selecting the ”Sony Ericsson” icon on the desktop.

• By selecting the ”Internet services” icon on the desktop.

Before you start

To be able to access the Internet with the T610, you need:

A phone subscription that has data capability (for more information please contact your service provider).
You also need a correctly set data account for access to an Internet server and a correctly set WAP profile
for WAP browsing.

The WAP settings may already be entered when you buy the phone, or you can enter them manually. The
easiest way though is to receive the settings from your service provider in a text message, or use the WAP
configurator at www.SonyEricsson.com/support.

Please note that the WAP settings are different for different service providers.

Receive settings using the WAP configurator

You will find the Sony Ericsson WAP configurator at www.SonyEricsson.com/support. To be able to
receive the proper WAP settings you need the following information from your service provider:

• Country

• Name of service provider

•Phone model

Follow the instructions on the screen. You will receive the auto configuration via SMS. When you receive
the text message you simply press
Internet in your mobile phone.

YES to install your new settings. You are now ready to start using the
