When sending a video or picture message you use a service called MMS (Multimedia Message Service),
which is an extension of SMS (Short Message Service). MMS allows you to send messages containing
text, pictures, video clips, camera pictures and sound recordings to mobile phones and/or email accounts.
Take a picture with the camera, add text, some appropriate sounds to send to someone you want to share
the moment with. Easy and fun.
Before you start
Before you start sending video or picture messages, you need to activate the service and enter the correct
phone settings. These settings may already be entered when you buy the phone. If not, the settings can
be received in two ways:
• Automatically by using the Sony Ericsson Phone setup for MMS at www.SonyEricsson.com/support.
• Automatically through your service provider.
