Schuif het vergrendelingslipje LOCK voor
de batterij naar buiten.
Schuif de batterij diagonaal in het
batterijcompartiment en druk de batterij
omlaag.
Schuif het vergrendelingslipje LOCK voor
de batterij naar binnen.
Netadapter

Sluit het netsnoer aan op de netadapter en
vervolgens op de netspanning. Sluit de
kabel van de netadapter vervolgens aan op
uw computer.
De eerste keren dat u de computer gebruikt moet
u de netadapter op de computer aansluiten zodat de
batterij volledig wordt opgeladen.

Verschuif de aan/uit-schakelaar tot het

stroomlampje gaat branden.
Opgelet
De eerste keer dat u de computer opstart,
duurt dit een paar minuten. U hoeft niets te
doen tot het setup-venster verschijnt.

Wat moet ik nu
doen
Uw computer
bijwerken
Houd uw computer up-to-date door updates
te downloaden via Windows Update en
VAIO Update, dit ter verbetering van de
efficiëntie, beveiliging en functionaliteit van
uw computer.
Klik op Start , Alle programma's,
Windows Update of VAIO Update.
Uw computer moet verbinding hebben met internet
voordat u updates kunt downloaden.
Voorbereidingen voor
herstel
In geval van een systeemfout kunt u de
computer herstellen met het Herstelmedia
(niet meegeleverd) of de herstelpartitie.
Raadpleeg de Gids systeemherstel en
probleemoplossing voor meer informatie.
Sluit voor het maken van het Herstelmedia een extern
optisch station aan (niet meegeleverd) op de
computer en op de netvoeding.
Voor het aanschaffen van het Herstelmedia gaat
u naar http://support.vaio.sony.eu/ voor de
contactgegevens in uw land/regio.

Tips voor het omgaan met uw computer
Het wordt aanbevolen deze richtlijnen in acht te nemen
om uw investering te beschermen en voor een maximale
levensduur van de computer.
Omgaan met het LCD-scherm
Plaats geen zware voorwerpen op de computer en oefen
geen druk uit op het LCD-scherm wanneer dit gesloten is.
Omgaan met de harde schijf
Verplaats de computer niet terwijl deze aan staat of
wordt in- of uitgeschakeld wanneer uw computer is
uitgerust met een ingebouwde harde schijf.
Binnendringen van vloeistoffen
Zorg dat de computer niet in contact komt met
vloeistoffen.
Ventilatie
Zet de computer op een hard oppervlak, zoals een
bureau of een tafel. Een goede luchtcirculatie bij de
ventilatieopeningen is belangrijk voor het afvoeren
van hitte.
Netadapter
Trek niet aan de netadapterkabel terwijl deze op de
computer is aangesloten.
Met de software VAIO Care kunt u problemen met
uw computer voorkomen of oplossen.
Klik op Start, ga naar Alle programma's,
VAIO Care en klik vervolgens op VAIO Care.

Slide the battery LOCK switch outward.
Slide the battery pack diagonally into the
battery compartment and push down.

Plug the power cord into the AC adapter and
then into an AC outlet. Then plug the AC
adapter cable into your computer.
Be sure to connect the AC adapter to your computer
when using it for the first few times to ensure the
battery becomes fully charged.

To protect your investment and maximize its lifespan,

LCD Handling
Avoid placing heavy objects on top of your computer or
exerting pressure on its lid when closed.
HDD Care
If your computer is equipped with a built-in hard disk
drive, avoid moving your computer while it is turned on
or in the process of powering on or shutting down.
Liquid Damage
Prevent liquids from coming into contact with your
computer.
Ventilation
Place your computer on hard surfaces, such as a desk or
table. Proper air circulation around vents is important to
reduce heat.
AC Adapter
Do not put stress on the AC adapter cable connected to
your computer.
With the VAIO Care software, you can prevent or
solve troubles on your computer.
Click Start, All Programs, VAIO Care, and
VAIO Care.
