Setting the Clock and Date

Setting the Clock Automatically

This radio has Radio Controlled Clock Auto Adjust System that adjusts to the current time. The Radio Controlled Clock Auto Adjust System receives the clock data (Year, month, day, hour, minute, second and D.S.T.) on a certain radio wave and radio controls the clock time. Be sure to set the radio where reception would be easier.

1. Set the radio.

Choose a place where there is good reception as possible.

2. Plug in the unit.

The Clock Auto Adjust function will automatically operate and “ the display.

Flashes "1" will appear.

Counting starts when the number at the upper righthand corner of the display (for the first time) changes to 1.

3. When the clock auto adjust has been

completed, the clock will start to operate and “ ” will appear in the display.

What is Clock Auto Adjust System?

The clock data that is sent has a total of 60 units (this total unit is called 1 frame), the data sent is 1 unit for every second. This radio receives this data one by one from data No. 1 to data No. 60. When the radio receives the first frame, it then starts to receive the second frame for confirmation. When the 2nd frame has been confirmed, then the clock time data reception has been completed. When the unit is plugged in, this function will operate until the time has been received completely.

About Radio Reception

The radio controlled signal is transmitted from the areas shown below.

• The U.K. models will receive the radio signal from England. The current time of England will be displayed.

• The other models will receive the radio signal from Germany. The current time of Germany will be displayed.

• There may be areas where radio reception is weak.

Once the Clock Auto Adjust has been completed

If the reception has not changed, you do not have to set the clock again. The Clock Auto Adjust function will automatically operate everynight at AM 3:05 to keep the correct time. If the reception is incomplete after 12 minutes, the time setting will return to the original time and “ disappear from the display.

Manual Setting the Clock

1. Press CLOCK for more than 1 second.

The "Year" will start to flash in the display.

2. Press TIME SET + or – until the correct

number appears in the display.

3. Press CLOCK once.

The next category will flash in the display.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set the month,

date, hour, and minute.

After setting the minute, press and release CLOCK to start the counting of the seconds.

Note

• If you quit during the clock setting , after about

a minute the previous display will return.

• To set the current time exactly to the second,

release CLOCK with the radio or telephone time signal in step 4 (above).

Operating the Radio

1. Press RADIO ON.

2. Select BAND (FM or AM for ICF-

C60RC, FM,MW or LW for ICFC60LRC)

3. Tune in to a station using TUNING.

4. Adjust VOLUME.

• To turn off the radio, press RADIO OFF.

To Improve Radio Reception

FM: Extend the FM wire antenna to improve FM

reception.

AM(MW)/LW: Rotate the unit horizontally for

optimum reception. A ferrite bar antenna is built into the unit.

Setting the Alarm

You can set the radio alarm to ALARM A, and buzzer alarm to ALARM B. To set the radio alarm, first tune in a station as described in “Operating the Radio” and adjust the volume.

1. Turn off the radio.

2. While holding down ALARM A or B,

press TIME SET + or – until the desired time appears in the display.

When you release ALARM A or B, the alarm setting is completed.

The radio or buzzer will automatically sound at the preset time, and automatically turn itself off after 60 minutes.

• To turn off the alarm manually, press ALARM

RESET/OFF. The alarm will come on at the

preset time the next day.

• To cancel the alarm before the alarm time,

while holding down ALARM A or B, press ALARM RESET/OFF.

• To check the preset time, press ALARM A or B.

Notes

• The buzzer sound level is fixed, and is

independent of the VOLUME control.

• If you set ALARM A and ALARM B to the same

desired time, only ALARM A will work.

• Even if you are listening to the radio, you can

set the radio or buzzer alarm.

• The alarm settings have a backup for about 10

minutes, when there is a service interruption for more than 10 minutes, the alarm setting memories will be cancelled.

To Doze a Few More Minutes

Press SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF.

The radio or buzzer will shut off but will automatically come on again after about 8 minutes. You can repeat this process as many times as you like.

• You can reset the alarm time while activating

the snooze function.

To Use Both Sleep Timer and Alarm Function

You can fall asleep to the radio sound and you will be awakened by the radio or buzzer alarm at the preset time.

1. Set the alarm. (See “Setting the

Alarm”.)

2. Set the sleep timer. (See “Setting the

Sleep Timer”.)

Setting the Sleep Timer

By setting the sleep timer, you can fall asleep to the radio sound. The radio turns off after the selected time.

Press SLEEP repeatedly until the desired operating time is displayed.

Each time you press SLEEP, the sleep timer indication changes as follows.

Precautions

On Installation

• Try near a window or place the radio where the reception is better.

• Do not place the unit where the reception would become weak (as follows).

— near a T.V., refrigerator, computer, etc. — on a steel table, steel shelf, and other steel

objects.

• Operate the unit on the power sources specified in “Specifications”.

• The nameplate indicating operating voltage, etc. is located on the bottom exterior.

• To disconnect the power cord, pull it out by the plug, not the cord.

• Do not place the unit on surfaces (rugs, blankets, etc.) or near materials (curtains, draperies) that block the ventilation holes.

• Should anything fall into the unit, unplug the unit and have it checked by qualified personnel before operating it further.

• The unit is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as long as it is connected to the wall outlet, even if the unit itself is turned off.

Troubleshooting

Should any problem occur with the unit, make the following simple checks to determine whether or not servicing is required. If the problem persists, consult the nearest Sony dealer.

The clock auto adjust function does not operate and the clock display is stopped at 10:00.

Weak reception, the unit cannot receive the current time data. Rotate the unit horizontally or place the radio where the reception is better.

The radio or buzzer alarm sound does not come on at the preset time.

Check the followings:

• Is the current time correctly set?

Check the AM/PM indication. (UK model only.)

• Is the alarm time correctly set?

Check the AM/PM indication. (UK model only.)

• For radio alarm, is the desired station tuned in?

• For radio, is the VOLUME control adjusted correctly?

If it is turned down completely, the alarm sound will not be heard. Be sure to turn up the volume.

• Only the alarm settings have been cancelled.

When there was a service interruption for more than 10 minutes, the alarm settings and clock settings have been reset. Then the Clock AutoAdjust function activated and the clock time has been set to the current time.

Réglage automatique de l’horloge

Ce radioréveil comprend un système de réglage automatique de l’horloge par la radio. C’est-àdire que ce système peut recevoir des données, telles que l’année, le mois, le jour, l’heure, les minutes, les secondes et l’heure d’été sur une onde radio précise et régler ensuite l’horloge en conséquence. Veillez à poser le radioréveil dans un endroit de réception optimale.

1. Installez le radioréveil.

Choisissez l’emplacement où la réception est la meilleure possible.

2. Branchez le radioréveil.

Qu’est-ce que le réglage automatique de l’horloge?

Les données d’horloge transmises forment un total de 60 unités (ce total correspond à 1 cadre) et une unité de données est transmise chaque seconde. Le radioréveil reçoit les données par unité, de l’unité No.1 à l’unité No. 60. Quand le radioréveil a reçu le premier cadre, le deuxième cadre est reçu pour confirmation. Quand le deuxième cadre a été reçu, la réception des données horaires est terminée. Quand le radioréveil est branché cette fonction est sactivée jusqu’ à ce que l’heure soit complètement reçue.

Réglage manuel de l’horloge

Fonctionnement de la radio

le ICF-C60RC et FM, PO ou GO sur le ICF-C60LRC.

3. Accordez une station avec TUNING.

4. Ajustez VOLUME.

• Pour éteindre la radio, appuyez sur RADIO OFF.

Pour améliorer la réception radio

FM: Déployez l’antenne fil FM pour améliorer la

réception FM.

AM(PO)/GO: Faites pivoter le radioréveil à

l’horizontale pour une réception optimale. Une barre de ferrite est intégrée au radioréveil.

Réglage de l’alarme

Vous pouvez sélectionner l’alarme radio, ALARM A, ou la sonnerie, ALARM B.

Pour régler l’alarme radio, accordez d’abord une station comme décrit dans “Fonctionnement de la radio” et réglez le volume.

1. Eteignez le radioréveil.

2. Tout en tenant ALARM A ou B

enfoncée, appuyez sur TIME SET + ou – jusqu’à ce que l’heure souhaitée

apparaisse dans l’affichage.

Quand vous relâchez ALARM A ou B, le réglage de l’alarme est terminé.

La radio ou la sonnerie se déclenchera automatiquement à l’heure préréglée et s’arrêtera 60 minutes plus tard.

• Pour éteindre l’alarme manuellement, appuyez sur ALARM RESET/OFF. L’alarme se déclenchera de nouveau le jour suivant à l’heure préréglée.

• Pour annuler l’alarme avant qu’elle ne se déclenche Tout en tenant ALARM A ou B enfoncée, appuyez sur ALARM RESET/OFF.

• Pour contrôler l’heure préréglée, appuyez sur ALARM A ou B.

Remarques

• Le niveau de la sonnerie est fixe et indépendant du réglage de VOLUME.

• Si vous réglez ALARM A et ALARM B sur la même heure, seule l’alarme A fonctionne.

• Vous pouvez mettre l’alarme radio en service ou la sonnerie même pendant que vous écoutez la radio.

• Les réglages de l’alarme sont sauvegardés pendant 10 minutes, et au-delà ils seront annulés.

Pour sommeiller quelques minutes de plus

Appuyez sur SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF.

La radio ou la sonnerie s’arrête mais elle se remettra en marche au bout de 8 minutes environ. Vous pouvez répéter cette opération à volonté.

• Vous pouvez changer l’heure de l’alarme après avoir activé la fonction snooze.

Pour utiliser la minuterie sommeil et l’alarme

Vous pouvez vous endormir au son de la radio et être réveillé par la radio ou la sonnerie à l’heure préréglée.

1. Réglez l’alarme. (voir “Réglage de

l’alarme”).

2. Réglez la minuterie sommeil. (Voir

“Réglage de la minuterie sommeil”.)

Si vous réglez cette minuterie, vous pourrez vous endormir au son de la radio. La radio s’éteint au bout du temps sélectionné.

Appuyez de façon répétée sur SLEEP jusqu’à ce que le temps de fonctionnement souhaité soit affiché.

A chaque pression sur SLEEP, l’indication de la minuterie change comme suit.

Après le réglage de la minuterie, l’heure actuelle apparaît.

• Pour éteindre la minuterie avant que le temps sélectionné ne soit écoulé, appuyez sur SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF.

Installation

• Posez le radioréveil près d’une fenêtre ou dans un endroit où la réception est bonne.

• N’installez pas le radioréveil dans les endroits où la réception est de mauvaise qualité, comme par exemple: — près d’un téléviseur, réfrigérateur,

ordinateur, etc.

sur la fiche. Ne tirez jamais sur le cordon proprement dit.

• Ne pas poser le radioréveil sur une surface moelleuse (comme un tapis, une couverture, etc.) ou près de tissus (comme un rideau ou une tenture) risquant de bloquer les orifices de ventilation.

• Si un solide ou liquide tombait dans le radioréveil, débranchez-le et faites-le vérifier par un technicien qualifié avant de le remettre en service.

• Le radioréveil n’est pas déconnecté de la source d’alimentation secteur tant qu’il est branché sur la prise murale, même s’il a été mis hors tension.

Guide de dépannage

En cas de problème, vérifiez rapidement les points suivants pour savoir si une réparation est nécessaire ou non. Si le problème persiste, consultez le revendeur Sony le plus proche.

Le réglage automatique de l’horloge ne fonctionne pas et l’indication de l’heure s’arrête sur 10:00.

La réception est trop faible et le radioréveil ne peut pas recevoir les données horaires actuelles. Faites pivoter le radioréveil à l’horizontale ou installez-le dans un endroit où la réception est meilleure.

La radio ou la sonnerie ne se déclenche pas à l’heure préréglée.

Vérifiez les points suivants:

• Est-ce que l’heure est réglée correctement?

Vérifiez l’indication AM/PM. (Modèle pour le Royaume-Uni seulement)

• Est-ce que l’heure de l’alarme est réglée correctement ?

Vérifiez l’indication AM/PM. (Modèle pour le Royaume-Uni seulement)

• Est-ce que la station souhaitée pour l’alarme radio est accordée?

• Est-ce que la commande VOLUME est réglée correctement pour la radio?

Si le volume est complètement réduit, l’alarme ne sera pas audible. Augmentez-le dans ce cas.

• Seuls les réglages de l’alarme ont été annulés.

Automatisch gelijkzetten van de klok

Deze radiowekker beschikt over een radiosynchroon klokinstelsysteem, dat automatisch zorgt dat de klok gelijk blijft lopen. Het radiosynchroon klokinstelsysteem ontvangt een volledig tijdsignaal (jaar, maand, dagnummer, uur, minuut, sekonde en zomertijdinstelling) op een speciale radiogolf en zorgt dan dat de klok precies met dit tijdsignaal gelijk blijft lopen. In verband hiermee is het aanbevolen de radio neer te zetten op een plaats waar de ontvangst optimaal is.

1. Plaats de radiowekker waar u deze wilt

2. Steek de stekker in het stopkontakt.

Wat is het radiosynchroon klokinstelsysteem ?

Het kloksignaal dat wordt uitgezonden bestaat uit blokken van 60 eenheden, waarbij elke eenheid gelijk is aan 1 sekonde. De radio ontvangt deze gegevens van 1 t/m 60, het eerste blok ter gelijkstelling en het tweede blok ter bevestiging. Wanneer het tweede blok in zijn geheel is ontvangen en de gelijkstelling is bevestigd, is de gegevensoverdracht voltooid. Zolang het apparaat is ingeschakeld, blijft deze funktie werken tot alle tijdsgegevens kompleet zijn ontvangen.

Wanneer de radiosynchrone klokinstelling is voltooid

Zolang de stekker niet een tijdlang uit het stopkontakt blijft, hoeft u de klok niet opnieuw gelijk te zetten. Het automatisch klokinstelsysteem treedt elke nacht om 3:05 automatisch in werking om te zorgen dat de klok precies gelijk blijft lopen. Als de radiosynchrone klokinstelling na 12 minuten nog niet voltooid is, keert de tijdsaanduiding terug naar de geldende tijdinstelling en verdwijnt de “ uitleesvenster.

Handmatig gelijkzetten van de klok

1. Houd de CLOCK toets langer dan een

sekonde ingedrukt.

De aanduiding “Year” zal nu in het uitleesvenster gaan knipperen.

2. Druk op de TIME SET + of – toets tot

het juiste jaartal in het uitleesvenster wordt aangegeven.

3. Druk nogmaals op de CLOCK toets.

Het volgende onderdeel van de tijdsaanduiding gaat knipperen.

4. Herhaal de stappen 2 en 3 om

achtereenvolgens de mand, het dagnummer, het uur en de juiste minuut in te stellen.

Na het instellen van de minuut drukt u de CLOCK toets in en laat u deze los op het moment dat de klok moet gaan lopen vanaf nul sekonden.

Opmerkingen

• Als het gelijkzetten van de klok tussentijds wordt onderbroken, keert na ongeveer een minuut de vorige tijdsaanduiding weer terug.

• Om de klok precies op de sekonde gelijk te zetten, laat u in stap 4 (hierboven) de CLOCK toets los op het moment dat het tijdsignaal van de radio, TV of telefoon klinkt.

Bediening van de radio

1. Druk op de RADIO ON toets.

2. Kies de gewenste afstemband met de

BAND toets (FM of AM voor de ICFC60RC, FM, MW of LW voor de ICFC60LRC).

3. Stem af op de gewenste radiozender

met de TUNING afstemknop.

4. Stel de geluidssterkte naar wens in met

de VOLUME regelaar.

• Om de radio uit te schakelen, drukt u op de RADIO OFF toets.

Verbeteren van de radio-ontvangst

FM: Strek de FM draadantenne volledig uit om

de FM-gevoeligheid te vergroten.

AM(MG)/LG: De kwaliteit van de ontvangst

hangt af van de richting van de ingebouwde ferrietstaaf-antenne en dus de stand van het apparaat. Draai het in een horizontaal vlak om de beste stand te vinden.

Zetten van de wekker

U kunt de radiowekker instellen op de ALARM A wektijd en de zoemer op de ALARM B wektijd. Om gewekt te worden door de radiowekker, zult u eerst op moeten afstemmen op een radiozender zoals beschreven onder “Bediening van de radio” en tevens de geluidssterkte voor het wekgeluid moeten instellen.

1. Schakel de radio uit.

2. Houd nu de ALARM A of B toets

ingedrukt en druk daarbij op de TIME SET + of – toets tot de gewenste wektijd

in het uitleesvenster wordt aangegeven.

Wanneer u de ALARM A of B toets loslaat, is de instelling van de wekker een feit.

Op de ingestelde wektijd zal de zoemer klinken of de radio gaan spelen, om 60 minuten later weer automatisch uitgeschakeld te worden.

• Om het wekgeluid uit te schakelen, drukt u op de ALARM RESET/OFF toets. De wekker wordt dan de volgende dag op dezelfde tijd weer ingeschakeld.

• Om de wekker uit te schakelen vóór de ingestelde wektijd is bereikt, houdt u de ALARM A of B toets ingedrukt en drukt u daarbij op de ALARM RESET/OFF toets.

• Om de ingestelde wektijd te kontroleren, drukt u op de ALARM A of B toets.

Opmerkingen

• De geluidssterkte van de zoemer is vast ingesteld, onafhankelijk van de stand van de VOLUME regelaar.

• Als u de ALARM A en de ALARM B wekker op dezelfde wektijd instelt, zal alleen de ALARM A wekker klinken.

• Ook tijdens het luisteren naar de radio kunt u de instelling voor de radio- of zoemtoonwekker maken.

• De wekker heeft slechts voor 10 minuten reservevoeding, dus bij een stroomonderbreking van meer dan 10 minuten zullen de wekker-instellingen komen te vervallen.

Nog een paar minuten doezelen, met de repeteerwekker

Druk op de SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF toets. De radiowekker of de zoemtoon stopt dan, maar zal automatisch na circa 8 minuten weer klinken. Dit kunt u net zovaak herhalen als u wilt.

• U kunt desgewenst een nieuwe wektijd instellen terwijl de repeteerfunktie is ingeschakeld.

Gebruik van zowel de sluimerfunktie als de wekker

U kunt in slaap vallen terwijl u naar de radio luistert, om later op de ingestelde wektijd weer gewekt te worden door de radio of de zoemtoon.

1. Stel de wekker in. (Zie onder “Zetten

van de wekker”.)

2. Schakel de sluimerfunktie in. (Zie

“Gebruik van de sluimerfunktie” hieronder.

Gebruik van de sluimerfunktie

De sluimerfunktie stelt u in staat gerust in slaap te vallen bij het geluid van de radio. Na de door u gekozen sluimertijd zal de radio automatisch worden uitgeschakeld.

Druk net zovaak op de SLEEP toets tot de gewenste sluimertijd in het uitleesvenster verschijnt.

Telkens wanneer u op de SLEEP toets drukt, verandert de tijdsaanduiding voor de sluimerfunktie als volgt.

Na het instellen van de sluimertijd wordt weer de juiste tijd aangegeven.

• Om de sluimerfunktie uit te schakelen vóór de ingestelde tijdsduur is verstreken, drukt u op de SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF toets.

V oorzorgsmaatregelen

Opstelling

• Plaats het apparaat zo mogelijk in de buurt van een raam of op een andere plaats met optimale radio-ontvangst.

• Vermijd plaatsen waar de radio-ontvangst kan worden gestoord door (bijvoorbeeld): — elektrische apparatuur als een TV-toestel,

een koelkast of een personal computer, enz.

— een stalen bureau, een stalen boekenrek of

dergelijke grote stalen voorwerpen.

• Gebruik het apparaat op de stroomvoorziening die in de paragraaf “Technische gegevens” staat aangegeven.

• Een naamplaatje met daarop de bedrijfsspanning e.d. bevindt zich aan de onderkant van het apparaat.

• Pak voor het verbreken van de aansluiting van het netsnoer altijd de stekker vast. Trek nooit aan het snoer zelf.

• Zet het apparaat niet op een zachte ondergrond (zoals een deken, een kleedje of tapijt), en plaats het niet vlak tegen gordijnen of een wandtapijt aan, daar dit de ventilatieopeningen zou kunnen blokkeren.

• Mocht er vloeistof of een voorwerp in het apparaat terechtkomen, trek dan de stekker uit het stopkontakt en laat het apparaat daarna eerst door een bevoegd vaktechnicus nakijken, alvorens het weer in gebruik te nemen.

• Zolang het netsnoer op het stopkontakt is aangesloten, blijft de stroomtoevoer naar het apparaat intakt, zelfs nadat het apparaat is uitgeschakeld.

Verhelpen van storingen

Mochten er zich problemen met het apparaat voordoen, ga dan eerst de onderstaande kontrolepunten na om te bepalen of het inroepen van deskundige hulp noodzakelijk is. Is het probleem niet zo eenvoudig te verhelpen, raadpleeg dan uw plaatselijke Sony handelaar.

De radiosynchrone klokinstelling werkt niet en de tijdsaanduiding blijft op 10:00 staan.

Zwakke radio-ontvangst, zodat het apparaat de juiste tijdgegevens niet kan ontvangen. Draai het apparaat in een horizontaal vlak of zet het op een andere plaats waar de ontvangst beter is.

De radiowekker of de zoemer gaat niet af op de ingestelde wektijd.

Kontroleer de volgende punten:

• Geeft de tijdsaanduiding wel de juiste tijd aan?

Is de AM/PM voor/namiddag instelling juist? (alleen bij het model voor Groot-Brittannië)

• Is de wektijd wel juist ingesteld?

Is de AM/PM voor/namiddag wektijdinstelling juist? (alleen bij het model voor Groot-Brittannië)

• Voor gewekt worden door de radio, staat de radio wel op de gewenste radiozender afgestemd?

• Staat de VOLUME regelaar van de radio wel naar behoren ingesteld?

Als de volumeregelaar geheel in de minimumstand is gedraaid, zal het wekgeluid van de radio niet te horen zijn. Stel de geluidssterkte voor het wekgeluid naar wens in.

• Alleen de wektijd-instelling is geannuleerd.

De wektijd-instelling wordt bij een stroomonderbreking 10 minuten door de reservevoeding in stand gehouden. Wellicht is er een stroomonderbreking van meer dan 10 minuten geweest en zijn daarna de klok-gegevens weer ontvangen.

Das Radio empfängt das von einigen Sendern ausgestrahlte Uhrzeit- und Datumssignal (Jahr, Monat, Tag, Stunden, Minuten, Sekunder und Sommer-Winterzeit) und stellt die Uhr anhand dieses Signals automatisch ein. Wie arbeitet die Uhreinstellautomatik?

Die Uhrzeitdaten bestehen aus 60 Einheiten; der Sender strahlt jede Sekunde eine Einheit aus (60 Einheiten werden auch 1 Frame genannt). Das Radio empfängt die Dateneinheiten Nr. 1 bis Nr. 60 nacheinander. Nachdem ein Frame empfangen worden ist, wartet das Radio noch auf den Empfang des nächsten Frames und vergleicht die beiden Frames dann. Erst wenn dabei die Richtigkeit der Empfangsdaten festgestellt wurde, wird der Datenempfang beendet.

Einstellen des Weckers

1. Schalten Sie das Radio aus.

gedrückt halten, stellen Sie durch Drücken von TIME SET + oder – die Weckzeit ein.

Wenn die richtige Weckzeit im Display angezeigt wird, lassen Sie ALARM A bzw. B los. Die Einstellung ist dann beendet.

Zur eingestellten Weckzeit ertönt das Radio bzw. der Summer; nach 60 Minuten verstummt der Ton automatisch wieder.

• Zum manuellen Ausschalten des Wecktons drücken Sie ALARM RESET/OFF. Der Weckton verstummt. Am nächsten Tag werden Sie zur selben Zeit erneut geweckt.

• Zum vorzeitigen Abschalten des Weckbetriebs halten Sie ALARM A bzw. B gedrückt und drücken Sie gleichzeitig ALARM RESET/OFF.

• Zum Überprüfen der Weckzeit drücken Sie ALARM A bzw. B.

Hinweise

• Die Lautstärke des Summertons ist fest; sie wird nicht durch den VOLUME-Regler beeinflußt.

• Wenn für ALARM A und ALARM B dieselbe Weckzeit eingestellt wird, arbeitet nur ALARM A.

• Auch während des Radiobetriebs kann der Radio- oder Summerwecker eingestellt werden.

• Bei einem Stromausfall bleibt die Weckzeit nur 10 Minuten lang gespeichert. Dauert der Stromausfall länger, geht die Speicherung verloren.

Um noch einige Minuten weiterzuschlummern

Drücken Sie SNOOZE/SLEEP OFF.

Radio bzw. Summer verstummen dann, ertönen jedoch nach etwa acht Minuten wieder. Der Vorgang kann beliebig oft wiederholt werden.

• Bei aktivierter Schlummerfunktion kann die Weckzeit auch geändert werden.

Gleichzeitiger Betrieb von Einschlafund Wecktimer

Durch den folgenden Vorgang können Sie bei Radiomusik in der Gewißheit einschlafen, daß Sie vom Radio oder Summer geweckt werden.

1. Stellen Sie den Wecker ein

2. Stellen Sie den Einschlaftimer ein

(siehe “Einstellen des Einschlaftimers”).

Einstellen des Einschlaftimers

Dank dem eingebauten Einschlaftimer können Sie mit Musik einschlafen. Das Radio schaltet sich nach der programmierten Zeit automatisch aus.

Drücken Sie SLEEP wiederholt, bis die gewünschte Zeitspanne angezeigt wird.

Bei jedem Drücken von SLEEP ändert sich die im Display angezeigte Zeitspanne wie folgt:

Nachdem die Zeitspanne des Einschlaftimers eingestellt ist, erscheint wieder die Uhrzeit im Display.

Zur Aufstellung

• Stellen Sie das Radio an einen Platz, an dem guter Empfang gewährleistet ist (beispielsweise in die Nähe eines Fensters).

• Betreiben Sie das Gerät nur mit der in den “ Technischen Daten” angegebenen Stromquelle.

• Das Typenschild mit Angabe der Betriebsspannung usw. befindet sich an der Unterseite.

• Zum Abtrennen des Netzkabels fassen Sie stets am Stecker und niemals am Kabel an.

• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf Teppiche, Decken usw. und auch nicht in die Nähe von Vorhängen, Wandbehängen usw., da hierdurch die Ventilationsöffnungen blockiert werden können.

• Sollte etwas in das Gerät gelangen, trennen Sie es vom Stromnetz ab, und lassen Sie es von einem Fachmann überprüfen, bevor Sie es weiterverwenden.

• Das Gerät ist auch im ausgeschalteten Zustand nicht vollständig vom Stromnetz getrennt, solange das Netzkabel noch an der Wandsteckdose angeschlossen ist.

Störungsüberprüfungen

Bei Problemen gehen Sie die folgende Liste durch, um zu entscheiden, ob eine Reparatur erforderlich ist oder nicht. Wenn dies Problem nicht selbst behoben werden kann, wenden Sie sich an den nächsten Sony Händler.

Die Uhreinstellautomatik arbeitet nicht, die Uhr bleibt bei 10:00 stehen.

Schwacher Empfang; die Uhrzeitdaten konnten nicht empfangen werden. Das Gerät um die vertikale Achse drehen oder an einen anderen Ort, der besseren Empfang ermöglicht, stellen.

Der Radio- oder Summerwecker arbeitet nicht.

Folgendes überprüfen:

• Ist die momentane Uhrzeit richtig eingestellt?

Auch die AM/PM-Anzeige (Vormittag/ Nachmittag) überprüfen (nur bei Großbritannien-Modell).

• Ist die Weckzeit richtig eingestellt?

• Ist bei Radioalarm auf einen Sender abgestimmt?

• Ist bei Radioweckbetrieb die Lautstärke an VOLUME hoch genug eingestellt?

Bei ganz zurückgeregelter Lautstärke ist der Weckton nicht zu hören. Darauf achten, daß die Lautstärke hoch genug eingestellt ist.

• Die Weckzeit ist gelöscht, die Uhrzeit stimmt jedoch noch.

Es ist ein Stromausfall von 10 Minuten oder mehr aufgetreten; dadurch wurden die Weckund die Uhzeit gelöscht. Anschließen wurde die Uhr durch das empfangene Uhzeitsignal wieder automatisch eingestellt.

Questa radio è dotata di sistema di regolazione automatica dell’orologio controllato dalla radio che regola l’orologio sull’orario attuale. Il sistema di regolazione automatica dell’orologio controllato dalla radio riceve i dati di orologio (anno, mese, giorno, ore, minuti, secondi e ora legale) su una particolare onda radio e la radio controlla l’orario dell’orologio. Assicurarsi di collocare la radio dove la ricezione è migliore.

Che cosa è il sistema di regolazione automatica dell’orologio?

I dati di orologio che sono inviati consistono di 60 unità in totale (questo totale di unità viene chiamato 1 quadro). I dati sono trasmessi al ritmo di 1 unità al secondo e la radio riceve i dati uno per volta dal n.1 al n.60. Dopo che la radio ha ricevuto il primo quadro, riceve il secondo quadro per conferma. Una volta finita la conferma con il secondo quadro, la ricezione dei dati di orologio è completa. Quando l’apparecchio è collegato ad una presa di corrente, questa funzione rimane attiva fino a che i dati sono stati ricevuti completamente.

Regolazione della sveglia

È possibile impostare la sveglia al suono della radio su ALARM A e la sveglia con la suoneria su ALARM B. Per impostare la sveglia al suono della radio, sintonizzare prima una stazione come descritto in “Uso della radio” e regolare il volume.

Regolando il timer di spegnimento ritardato, è possibile addormentarsi al suono della musica. La radio si spegne da sola dopo che è trascorso il tempo fissato.

Premere ripetutamente SLEEP fino a che viene visualizzato il tempo di funzionamento desiderato.

A ciascuna pressione di SLEEP, l’indicazione del timer di spegnimento ritardato cambia come segue.

Precauzioni

Installazione

• Provare vicino ad una finestra o collocare la radio dove la ricezione è migliore.

• Non collocare la radio dove la ricezione sia ostacolata (come descritto di seguito):

— vicino a frigoriferi, computer, ecc. — su tavoli o scaffali in acciaio o altri oggetti in

acciaio.

• Alimentare l’apparecchio con le fonti di alimentazione specificate in “Caratteristiche tecniche”.

• La piastrina indicante la tensione operativa, ecc. è situata all’esterno sul fondo.

• Per scollegare il cavo di alimentazione afferrarne la spina. Non tirare mai il cavo stesso.

• Non collocare l’apparecchio su superfici (tappeti, coperte, ecc.) o vicino a materiali (tende) che possano bloccare i fori di ventilazione.

• Se qualcosa penetra nell’apparecchio, scollegare l’apparecchio dalla fonte di alimentazione e farlo controllare da personale qualificato prima di usarlo ulteriormente.

• L’apparecchio non è scollegato dalla fonte di alimentazione CA (corrente di rete) fintanto che è collegato alla presa a muro, anche se l’apparecchio stesso è stato spento.

Soluzione di problemi

Nel caso di problemi nell’uso dell’apparecchio, eseguire i semplici controlli sotto riportati per stabilire se sono necessarie riparazioni. Se il problema rimane insoluto consultare il proprio rivenditore Sony.

La funzione di regolazione automatica dell’orologio non si attiva e l’indicazione dell’orario è bloccata su 10:00.

Ricezione debole, l’apparecchio non può ricevere i dati di orario attuale. Ruotare l’apparecchio orizzontalmente o collocare la radio dove la ricezione è migliore.

La sveglia al suono della radio o della suoneria non si attiva all’orario fissato.

Controllare quanto segue:

• L’orario attuale è regolato correttamente?

Controllare l’indicazione AM/PM (solo i modelli per il Regno Unito).

• L’orario di sveglia è regolato correttamente?

Controllare l’indicazione AM/PM (solo i modelli per il Regno Unito).

• Per la sveglia al suono della radio, è sintonizzata la stazione desiderata?

• Per la sveglia al suono della radio, il comando VOLUME è regolato correttamente?

Se è abbassato completamente, il suono della sveglia non è udibile. Assicurarsi di alzare il volume.

• Solo le regolazioni della sveglia sono state cancellate.

Si è verificata un’interruzione di corrente di durata superiore a 10 minuti e le regolazioni della sveglia e dell’orologio sono state cancellate. Quindi si è attivata la funzione di regolazione automatica dell’orologio che ha riportato l’orologio all’orario attuale.
