Purpose of this manual
This manual is the installation manual of the Upgrade Key CBK-UPG01.
This manual is intended for use by trained system and service engineers, and describes
the information on installing the CBK-UPG01.

1-1. General Information for Installation
Parts confi guration
The Upgrade Key CBK-UPG01 consists of the following parts.
. DU-540C board assembly
. Installation manual
. Installation guide
. Attaching screws (two)
On installation
Install the DU-540C board and check that the CBK-UPG01 is properly installed
according to the installation and check procedure described in section 1-2 and 1-3.

1-2. Installation Procedure
1. Loosen the four screws with stopper to detach the inside panel assembly.

2. Turn over the insulation sheet and connect the DU-540C board connector CN1 to
the FP-169A board connector CN404.
3. Fix the DU-540C board with the two screws (PSW2.6 x 5) supplied.

4. Attach the inside panel assembly by reversing the steps of removal.

Check procedure
1. Turn on the power of PMW-500.
2. Display the “MAINTENANCE” menu on the viewfi nder referring the operating
instructions supplied with PMW-500.
3. Confi rm that is able to select “Wi-Fi Setting” in excluding the state of record and
playback.
