1 Sicherheitshinweise
Bitte lesen Sie vor erster Inbetriebnahme die Gebrauchsanweisung genau durch und beachten
Sie die Sicherheitshinweise um Schäden durch falsche oder unsachgemäße Bedienung sowie
unzulässige Umgebungsbedingungen zu vermeiden. Bewahren Sie diese zum späteren Nachschlagen gut auf.
Kontrollieren Sie das Gerät nach dem Entfernen der Verpackung auf Beschädigungen. Setzen
Sie das Gerät bei Verdacht auf eine Beschädigung nicht in Betrieb und wenden Sie sich an einen
Fachmann. Das recyclingfähige Verpackungsmaterial darf nicht für Kleinkinder zugänglich aufbewahrt oder entsorgt werden, sondern muss fachgerecht entsorgt werden.
Dieses Gerät darf nur für den Zweck, für den es ausdrücklich entwickelt wurde, verwendet werden. Jeder andere Gebrauch ist als unsachgemäß und folglich als gefährlich anzusehen. Der
Lieferant haftet nicht für eventuelle Personen- und/oder Sachschäden, die auf einen unsachgemäßen oder falschen Gebrauch zurückzuführen sind.
Dieses Gerät darf von Kindern, die 8 Jahre oder älter sind, sowie von Personen mit reduzierten
körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder einem Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen genutzt werden, sofern sie beaufsichtigt werden oder Anweisungen bezüglich der sicheren
Nutzung des Geräts erhalten haben und die damit verbundenen Gefahren verstehen. Kinder
dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Kinder dürfen die Reinigung und benutzerseitige Wartung
nicht ohne Beaufsichtigung durchführen. Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass Sie das Geräte auf eine
geeignete und unempfindliche Flächen stellen, sodass auslaufende Flüssigkeiten keinen Schaden
verursachen können.

Reparaturen an elektrischen Geräten dürfen nur von Fachkräften durchgeführt werden.
Unsachgemäß durchgeführte Reparaturen und Abänderungen an den Geräten können gefährliche Folgen für den Benutzer nach sich ziehen, worauf die Garantieansprüche abgelehnt werden.
Bei der Nutzung von Elektrogeräten gilt es immer, grundlegende Sicherheitsvorschriften
zu beachten, unter anderem:
• Zwecks sicherer Bedienung des Produktes bitte vor Inbetriebnahme die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig lesen.
• Keine Fremdkörper in die Luftzufuhr oder Gebläsegitter stecken.
• Vor der Reinigung bitte den Netzstecker des Geräts aus der Steckdose ziehen. Das Heizgerät
keinesfalls an Orten verwenden, wo es in Wasser fallen oder mit Wasser in Berührung kommen
kann. Achten Sie ebenso darauf, dass Sie das Heizgerät nicht anschließen, wenn die Oberfläche feucht ist.

anschließen, um eine Brandgefahr durch Überlastung auszuschließen. Das Netzkabel
nicht eigenständig verlängern. Keine Verteilersteckdose verwenden.
• Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz, indem Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
NICHT AN DEM KABEL ZIEHEN.
• Bei beschädigtem Stromkabel muss dieses durch den Hersteller, den Kundendienst oder
Fachpersonal ersetzt werden.
• Das Heizgerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt an Orten benutzen, die für längere Zeit nicht auf-
gesucht werden (bspw. für mehrere Wochen in einem Ferienhaus).
• Nur von Sonnenkönig empfohlene und vertriebene Zubehörteile verwenden.
• Ein nicht festsitzender Netzstecker kann zu einer Überhitzung des Geräts führen.
• Achten Sie darauf, dass keine weiteren Geräte an der gleichen Steckdose wie das Heiz-
gerät angeschlossen sind (Mehrfachstecker). Eine Überlastung kann zu schwachem
Licht, Sicherungsausfall und einem Kurzschluss führen. Brandgefahr.
• Das Heizgerät ist nur für den Inneneinsatz im privaten Haushalt bestimmt.
• Das Heizgerät darf nicht unmittelbar unter einer Steckdose aufgestellt werden.
• Warnhinweis: Das Klimagerät nicht abdecken. Überhitzungsgefahr!
• Das Gerät nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Badewanne, Dusche oder eines Schwimm-
beckens benutzen.
• ENTSORGUNG: Elektrische Geräte nicht über den Hausmüll, sondern über entspre-
chende Sammelstellen entsorgen. Informieren Sie sich bei Ihrer Behörde vor Ort über
mögliche Abgabestellen. Bei Entsorgung elektrischer Geräte in Mülldeponien besteht
die Gefahr, dass gefährliche Substanzen in das Grundwasser gelangen und so ein Gesundheitsrisiko darstellen.
• Kinder unter 3 Jahren von dem Gerät fernhalten, es sei denn, sie stehen unter Aufsicht.
Das Gerät darf von Kindern im Alter von 3 Jahren bis 8 Jahren nur ein- und ausgeschaltet werden, wenn es ordnungsgemäß aufgestellt worden ist und nur unter der Voraussetzung, dass sie unter entsprechender Aufsicht stehen, oder ihnen die Bedienung des
Geräts sorgfältig erklärt wurde, und sie sich der möglichen Risiken im Umgang mit ihm
bewusst sind. Kinder im Alter von 3 bis 8 Jahren dürfen das Gerät nicht an die Steckdose anschließen, es nicht bedienen, reinigen oder warten.
• ACHTUNG — einige Teile des Geräts können sehr heiß werden und bei Berühren Verlet-
zungen verursachen. Besondere Vorsicht gilt in Anwesenheit von Kindern und anderen
schutzbedürftigen Personen.

3 Bedienungsanleitung
1. Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit einer 220V 50Hz Steckdose.
2. Stellen Sie den Heizkörper auf den Boden und mindestens 1 Meter von der Wand oder
sonstigen Gegenständen wie Möbel, Gardinen oder Pflanzen entfernt auf.
3. Stellen Sie den ON/OFF Schalter auf „ON“. Das Gerät ist im Standby-Modus.
4. Drücken Sie das „+“ Symbol. Das Gerät schaltet sich ein. Das Heizgerät arbeitet im
kühlen Gebläsemodus. Die Kontrollanzeige „Gebläse“ leuchtet.
5. Drücken Sie die Taste „+“ erneut und erhöhen Sie so die Heizleistung. Gleichzeitig
leuchtet die entsprechende Kontrollanzeige. Wenn der Raum die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat, drücken Sie die Taste „-“. Stellen Sie so eine niedrigere Heizleistung
ein, um Strom zu sparen und zu verhindern, dass der Raum zu warm wird.
6. Zum Ausschalten des Gerätes drücken Sie solange die „-“ Taste, bis keine der Kontrol-
lanzeigen mehr leuchtet.
7. Wird das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht benutzt, stellen Sie den ON/OFF Schalter auf „OFF“.
8. Der Heizkopf kann manuell in die gewünschte Position verstellt werden. Der Verstell-
winkel ist max. 50°. Das Gebläsegitter nicht berühren. Verbrennungsgefahr!
• Das Heizgerät ist mit einer Sicherheitsfunktion ausgestattet, die im Falle einer Überhitzung oder Fehlfunktion die Heizfunktion des Gerätes ausschaltet. Nach Abkühlen auf
eine normale Temperatur ist das Gerät wieder betriebsbereit.
• Bei wiederholter Überhitzung oder Fehlfunktion bringen Sie das Heizgerät zwecks Prüfung bitte zu einem autorisierten Fachhändler.
• Der häufigste Grund für eine Überhitzung sind Staubablagerungen oder Flusen in dem
Heizgerät. Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz und entfernen Sie diese Ablagerungen
regelmäßig durch Absaugen der Luftzufuhr und des vorderen Gebläsegitters mit einem
Staubsauger.
4 Reinigung und pflege
• Leichte Verschmutzungen durch Staub können mit einem weichen Tuch abgewischt
werden. Wischen Sie das Heizgerät von außen regelmäßig mit einem feuchten Tuch und
einem milden Reinigungsmittel ab (nicht tropfnass). Trocknen Sie das Gerät mit einem
weichen Tuch vor der Verwendung ab.
• Der Gebläsemotor ist ab Werk geschmiert und benötigt keine weitere Schmierung.

• Es sind sonst keine weiteren Wartungs- und Pflegemaßnahmen nötig. Bei Beschädigung oder Fehlfunktion senden Sie das Heizgerät bitte an den nächsten autorisierten
Kundendienst.
• Bewahren Sie das Heizgerät bei Nichtnutzung an einem sauberen und trockenen Ort auf.
Hinweis: Tragbare elektrische Heizgeräte dienen nur zur Punktbeheizung oder als zusätzliche Heizquelle. Sie eignen sich nicht zur Verwendung als alleinige Raumheizung
während der üblichen Heizperioden.
Hinweis: Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme kann es zu einer leichten Rauch- bzw. Geruchsentwicklung kommen. Das ist kein Grund zur Sorge. Das bedeutet lediglich, dass während
des Betriebs ein wenig Öl auf den Heizdraht getropft ist. Der Geruch bzw. Rauch ist schnell
verflogen, und es handelt sich in der Regel um eine nicht wieder auftretende Situation.
5 Garantie / Entsorgung / Technische Änderungen
Garantie:
Die Geräte werden vor der Auslieferung genau kontrolliert. Sollte trotzdem einmal ein
Mangel an Ihrem Gerät auftreten, wenden Sie sich vertrauensvoll an Ihren Verkäufer.
Bitte bringen Sie den Kaufbeleg mit, denn dieser ist für jede Garantieleistung vorzulegen.
Die Garantie beträgt 24 Monaten ab dem Kaufdatum.
Entsorgung
Das Gerät muss fachgerecht entsorgt werden. Das Gerät kann bei jedem Fachhändler
kostenlos zur Entsorgung abgegeben werden. Bitte behalten Sie das Verpackungsmaterial für das Gerät auf.

redaktionelle Änderungen oder Auslassungen in diesem Dokument.

1 Consignes de sécurité
Avant la première mise en service, veuillez lire scrupuleusement le mode d‘emploi dans
son Intégralité et tenir compte des consignes de sécurité afin d‘éviter les dommages liés
à une commande mauvaise ou non conforme ainsi qu‘à des conditions d‘environnement
non autorisées. Conservez ce mode d‘emploi afin de pouvoir le consulter de nouveau
ultérieurement.
Après avoir retiré l‘emballage, contrôler que l‘appareil ne présente aucun dommage. Si
vous Soupçonnez des dommages, ne mettez pas l‘appareil en marche et adressez-vous à
un spécialiste. L‘emballage recyclable doit être tenu hors de portée des petits enfants ou
être jeté aux ordures, mais doit être jeté de manière appropriée.
Cet appareil ne doit être utilisé que pour l‘usage pour lequel il a été expressément mis au
point. Toute autre utilisation doit être considérée comme inappropriée et par conséquent
comme dangereuse. Le fournisseur décline toute responsabilité concernant d‘éventuels
dommages corporels et/ou matériels, pouvant être imputés à une utilisation inappropriée
ou incorrecte.
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de 8 ans et plus et par des personnes
à capacités physiques, sensorielles et mentales réduites ou sans expérience et sans les
connaissances nécessaires, à condition qu‘ils soient assistés ou qu‘ils aient reçu des
instructions concernant l‘utilisation en toute sécurité de l‘appareil et qu‘ils comprennent
quels sont les dangers encourus. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l‘appareil. Les
opérations de nettoyage et d‘entretien de l‘appareil ne doivent pas être effectuées par
des enfants sans surveillance. Assurez-vous de placer l‘appareil sur une surface appropriée et étanche, de sorte que le liquide déversé ne peut pas causer de dommages.

Lorsque vous utilisez des appareils électriques, veuillez toujours suivre les règles basiques de sécurité, telles que :
• Afin de vous familiariser avec les commandes, les dispositifs de sécurité et le fonction-
nement de votre produit, veuillez lire l’ensemble des instructions avant toute utilisation.
• Ne pas insérer d’objet étranger dans les grilles d’entrée et de sortie.
• Veillez à débrancher l’appareil de la prise avant de le nettoyer. Ne jamais utiliser le radiateur

dans des conditions où il risquerait de se trouver immerger ou d’entrer en contact avec de

l’eau. De même, ne pas brancher le radiateur si sa surface est humide.
• Ne pas brancher l’appareil à la même prise ou sur le même circuit que d’autres appareils électriques afin d’éviter toute surcharge, car cela pourrait provoquer un incendie.
Veuillez ne pas rallonger le câble d’alimentation vous-même ni utiliser de prise mobile.
• Pour débrancher le radiateur, tirez sur la fiche depuis la prise. NE JAMAIS TIRER D’UN COUP
SEC SUR LE CÂBLE.
• Si le câble d’alimentation est endommagé, faites-le remplacer par un agent de service
ou une autre personne qualifiée afin de prévenir tout risque.
• Ne pas laisser le radiateur allumé sans surveillance durant de longues périodes (par
exemple pendant plusieurs semaines dans une résidence secondaire inoccupée).
• Ne pas utiliser d’accessoires non recommandés ni vendus par un distributeur
Sonnenkönig.
• Un raccordement lâche entre la fiche du radiateur et la prise électrique peut entraîner
une surchauffe de la fiche.
• Assurez-vous qu’aucun appareil n’est branché sur le même circuit que votre radiateur.
Cela pourrait causer une surcharge du circuit et risquerait donc de réduire l’éclairage,
de faire fondre les fusibles, de faire sauter le disjoncteur et de déclencher un incendie.
• Le radiateur est exclusivement destiné à un usage domestique en intérieur.
• Le radiateur ne doit pas être placé directement sous une prise électrique.
• Attention: afin d’éviter toute surchauffe, ne pas recouvrir le radiateur.
• Ne pas utiliser ce radiateur à proximité immédiate d’une baignoire, d’une douche ou
d’une piscine.
• ÉLIMINATION : Ne jetez pas vos appareils électriques dans la poubelle ordinaire, ceux-
ci doivent être recyclés séparément par votre centre de collecte. Veuillez contacter les
autorités locales pour plus d’informations sur les systèmes de collecte disponibles. Si
vous jetez vos appareils électriques à la décharge ou à la déchetterie, des substances
dangereuses risquent de s’infiltrer dans les eaux sousterraines et de s’immiscer dans la
chaîne alimentaire, au détriment de votre santé et de votre bien-être.
• Les enfants de moins de trois ans doivent être tenus à l’écart, sauf s’ils sont surveillés.
Les enfants de trois à huit ans sont exclusivement habilités à allumer et à éteindre l’appareil, et ce, à condition que l’appareil soit correctement installé, en position d’utilisation normale, qu’ils soient surveillés, qu’ils aient reçu des instructions concernant l’utilisation sûre de l’appareil et qu’ils aient conscience des risques encourus. Les enfants
âgés de trois à huit ans ne doivent en aucun cas brancher, régler, nettoyer l’appareil,
ni s’occuper de l’entretien.
• ATTENTION — Certaines pièces du produit peuvent devenir très chaudes et provoquer
des brûlures. Une attention particulière doit être accordée lorsque des enfants ou des

3 Instructions d’utilisation

1. Branchez l’appareil à une prise d’électricité 220V, 50Hz.
2. Installez le radiateur sur le sol, à au moins un mètre du mur et de tout autre objet
(meubles, rideaux, plantes).
3. Placez l’interrupteur en position « ALLUMÉ ». L’appareil est alors en veille.
4. Appuyez sur le symbole « + » pour allumer l’appareil. Il entre alors en mode ventila-
tion, le voyant du ventilateur est allumé.
5. Appuyez à nouveau sur « + » pour accroître la puissance. Le voyant correspondant
s’allume. Une fois la température de la pièce agréable, appuyez sur « - » pour sélectionner un réglage inférieur afin de réduire la consommation électrique et d’éviter que
la pièce ne devienne trop chaude.
6. Pour éteindre l’appareil, appuyez sur « - » jusqu’à ce que tous les voyants s’éteignent.
7. Si vous ne comptez pas utiliser l’appareil durant une longue période, placez l’interrup-
teur sur la position « ÉTEINT ».
8. La tête de chauffage peut être ajustée manuellement en position confortable. L’angle
peut être modifié de cinquante degrés. Ne pas toucher la grille de sécurité afin d’éviter
tout risque de brûlure.
• Votre appareil est équipe d’un dispositif de sécurité qui éteint le radiateur par disjonc-
teur thermique en cas de surchauffe ou de dysfonctionnement. Il redémarre automatiquement une fois que la température est revenue à un niveau normal.
• Si la surchauffe ou le dysfonctionnement se poursuit, veuillez remettre votre radiateur
à un agent de service agréé pour inspection.
• Le plus souvent, la surchauffe découle du dépôt de poussière ou de peluches dans le
radiateur. Veillez à retirer ces dépôts régulièrement en débranchant l’appareil et en
nettoyant à l’aspirateur la grille frontale et les conduits de ventilation.
4 Nettoyage et entretien
• Les poussières accumulées doivent être retirées du chauffage à l’aide d’un chiffon doux.
Essuyez occasionnellement les surfaces extérieures à l’aide d’un chiffon humide (non
mouillé) imprégné d’une solution de détergent et d’eau. Veuillez essuyer la surface
avec un chiffon propre et sec avant de mettre le radiateur en marche.
• Le moteur du ventilateur est lubrifié en usine. Aucune lubrification supplémentaire n’est nécessaire.

• Aucune autre forme d’entretien n’est requise ou recommandée. Si vous avez besoin d’assistance, veuillez retourner le radiateur à votre centre de service agréé le plus proche.
• Lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé, maintenez le radiateur dans un environnement sec et propre.
À noter: Les radiateurs électriques portables sont conçus pour un chauffage localisé ou
pour offrir une source de chaleur supplémentaire. Ils ne sont pas conçus pour constituer
une source de chauffage principale durant la saison de chauffage normale.
À noter: L’appareil peut émettre des traces de fumée ou des odeurs lors de la première
utilisation. Ne vous inquiétez pas. Cela signifie qu’une goutte d’huile est tombée sur le
serpentin chauffant lors de la fabrication. Elle va rapidement s’évaporer et cela ne se
reproduira plus.
5 Garantie / élimination / modifications techniques
Garantie
L‘appareil sont contrôlés de manière précise avant la livraison. Si malgré tout un vice devait être constaté sur votre appareil, adressez-vous en toute confiance à notre revendeur.
Veuillez joindre la preuve d‘achat, car celle-ci doit être présentée pour la prestation de
garantie. La période de garantie est de 24 mois à compter de la date d‘achat.
Elimination
L‘appareil doit être jeté de manière appropriée. L‘appareil peut dans tous les cas
être remis gratuitement à tout revendeur spécialisé. Veuillez conserver l’emballage de cet appareil.
Modifications techniques
Sous réserve de modifications techniques ou de forme. Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de modifications, d’erreurs ou d’omissions techniques ou rédactionnelles dans
ce document.

Prima di mettere in funzione per la prima volta il prodotto, si raccomanda di leggere con
cura le istruzioni d’uso e di rispettare le avvertenze di sicurezza al fine di evitare un utilizzo improprio o sbagliato come pure condizioni ambientali non idonee. Si raccomanda
di conservare le istruzioni per futura consultazione.
Controllare l’apparecchio dopo averlo rimosso dall’imballo. In caso di sospetto danneggiamento non mettere in funzione l’apparecchio e rivolgersi ad un tecnico specializzato.
Non conservare alla portata dei bambini il materiale d’imballo riciclabile, ma provvedere
all’opportuno smaltimento.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio esclusivamente per lo scopo per il quale è stato espressamente

• Attenione: Per evitare il surriscaldamento, non coprire il riscaldatore.
• Non utilizzare questo riscaldatore nelle immediate vicinanze di un bagno, una doccia
o una piscina.
• SMALTIMENTO: Non smaltire elettrodomestici come rifiuti urbani ordinari, utilizzare
impianti di raccolta separati. Contattare il consiglio comunale per informazioni sui sistemi di raccolta disponibili. Se gli apparecchi elettrici vengono smaltiti in discariche ,

3 Istruzioni operative

1. Collegare la spina ad una presa di 220 V AC, 50 Hz.
2. Piazzare il riscaldatore sul pavimento ad almeno 1 metro di distanza dalla parete e da
qualsiasi altro oggetto come mobili, tende o piante.
3. Posizionare l’interruttore on / off su ON. L’apparecchio è attualmente in standby.
4. Premere il simbolo + per avviare l’apparecchio. L’apparecchio si avvia in modalità raf-
freddamento/ventilatore e la corrispondente luce pilota è illuminata.
5. Premere nuovamente il simbolo + per aumentare la potenza di uscita. La luce pilota
corrispondente si illuminerà. Una volta che la stanza raggiunge una temperatura confortevole, premere il simbolo - per selezionare un’impostazione inferiore e per ridurre
il consumo di elettricità evitando anche che la stanza diventi troppo calda.
6. Se è necessario disattivare l’apparecchio, premere il simbolo - finché tutte le spie di
pilotaggio non si spengono.
7. Se l’apparecchio non viene utilizzato per molto tempo, impostare l’interruttore on / off su OFF.
8. La testa del riscaldatore può essere regolata manualmente in una posizione comoda. L’ango-
lo può essere regolato fino a 50°. Non toccare la griglia di sicurezza per evitare bruciature.
• Il riscaldatore è dotato di un dispositivo di sicurezza con interruzione termica che spe-
gne il riscaldatore in caso di surriscaldamento o malfunzionamento. Si resetta quando
la temperatura si riduce ad un livello normale.
• Se il surriscaldamento o le malfunzionamenti continuano, riportare il riscaldatore ad un
agente di servizio autorizzato per l’esame.
• La causa più comune di surriscaldamento è il deposito di polvere o fluidi che entrano nel
riscaldatore. Assicurarsi che questi depositi vengano rimossi regolarmente scollegando
l’unità e aspirando le bocchette di ventilazione e la griglia anteriore.
4 Pulizia e manutenzione
• L’accumulo leggero della polvere può essere rimosso dal riscaldatore con un panno
morbido. Pulire le superfici esterne del riscaldatore in una soluzione di detergente e
acqua lieve. Asciugare bene l’alloggiamento con un panno morbido e asciutto prima di
utilizzare il riscaldatore.
• Il motore del ventilatore è lubrificato in fabbrica e non richiederà ulteriore lubrificazione.
• Nessuna altra manutenzione dell’utente è richiesta o raccomandata. Se la manutenzi-

one è necessaria, inviare il riscaldatore al più vicino centro di assistenza autorizzato.
• Conservare il riscaldatore in un luogo pulito e asciutto quando non è in uso.
Nota: I riscaldatori elettrici portatili sono progettati per il riscaldamento direzionale o
come fonte di calore supplementare. Non sono destinati ad essere le principali fonti di
calore durante le stagioni quando il riscaldamento è normalmente utilizzato.
Nota: Ci possono essere tracce di fumo o odore quando l’unità viene azionata per la prima volta. Non essere allarmato. Ciò indica che una goccia di olio è caduta sulla bobina di
riscaldamento durante il processo di fabbricazione. Evaporerà rapidamente e nonsi ripeterà.
5 Garanzia / Smaltimento / Modifiche tecniche
Garanzia
I prodotti vengono controllati attentamente prima della spedizione. Se dovesse comunque presentarsi un vizio sul vostro apparecchio, vi invitiamo a rivolgervi in tutta tranquillità al vostro rivenditore. Vi rammentiamo di portare appresso la ricevuta d’acquisto, che
deve essere presentata per ogni prestazione in garanzia. Il periodo di garanzia è di 24
mesi dalla data di acquisto.
Smaltimento
Provvedere ad un corretto smaltimento del prodotto. L’apparecchio può essere consegnato gratuitamente per il relativo smaltimento a qualsiasi rivenditore specializzato.
Si prega di conservare il materiale d‘imballaggio dell‘apparecchio.

1 Safety
Please read the safety instructions carefully before first commissioning and observe the
safety instructions to prevent damage due to misuse, improper operation, and improper
environmental conditions. Keep them for later reference.
Check the device for damage after removing the packaging. Do not use the unit in case of
suspected damage; instead, consult a specialist. The recyclable packaging material must
not be stored in a place accessible to young children, but must be disposed of properly.
This appliance is only for the purpose for which it was explicitly developed. Any other use
is regarded as improper and therefore dangerous. The supplier is not liable for damage
to persons and / or property due to improper or incorrect use.
This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are
supervised and have been given instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the dangers involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be conducted by children without supervision.
Please make sure to place the device on a suitable and waterproof surfaces, so that
spilled liquids can not cause harm.
Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by trained personnel . Improperly performed repairs and alterations to the equipment can have dangerous consequences
for the user and any tampering will result in the warranty being rejected.
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

• Do not insert foreign objects into the intake or outlet grills.
• Disconnect the cord from the outlet before cleaning. The heater should never be used in con-
ditions where it may be immersed or come in contact with water. Similarly do not plug in your
heater if its surfaces are damp.
• Do not use the appliance on the same socket or electric circuit as other electrical appli-
ances so as to prevent the circuit from being overloaded, which may cause a fire. Please
do not extend the power cord yourself or use a portable socket.

• Unplug the heater by grasping plug and removing it from the outlet. NEVER PULL ON
THE CORD.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer’s service agent
or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use in locations where the heater will be left unattended for long periods of time
(for example several weeks in an unoccupied summer cottage).
• Do not use attachments not recommended and sold by Sonnenkönig distributor.
• Loose connections between the heater plug and the electrical outlet may cause the
plug to overheat.
• Ensure no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit as your heater. A circuit
overload could occur resulting in dimmed lights, blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers
or a fire hazard.
• The heater is intended for indoor household use only.
• The heater must not be located immediately below a socket outlet.
• Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
• Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower or swimming
pool
• DISPOSAL: Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use
separate collection facilities. Contact your local council for information regarding
the collection systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or
dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food
chain, damaging your health and well-being.
• Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance
provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position
and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance

3 Operating instructions

1. Plug into any 220 V AC, 50 Hz source.
2. Place the heater on the floor at least 1 metre away from the wall and any other objects
such as furniture, curtains or plants.
3. Set the on/off switch to ON. The appliance is now on standby.
4. Press the + symbol to start the appliance. The appliance will start in cool fan mode
with the pilot light for the fan illuminated.
5. Press the + symbol again to increase the output power. The corresponding pilot light
will then illuminate. Once the room reaches a comfortable temperature, press the symbol to select a lower setting to reduce your electricity consumption and to prevent
the room from becoming too warm.
6. If you need to switch off the appliance, press the - symbol until all the pilot lights go out.
7. If the appliance will not be used for a long time, please set the on/off switch to OFF
8. The heater head can be manually adjusted to a comfortable position. The angle can be
adjusted by up to 50°. Do not touch the safety grill to avoid burns.
• Your heater is equipped with a safety device with a thermal cut-off that switches off the
heater in the event of overheating or malfunction. It will reset while the temperature
reduces to a normal level.
• If overheating or malfunctions continue, return the heater to an approved service agent
for examination.
• The most common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff entering the heater.
Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the unit and vacuuming the
air vents and front grill.
4 Cleaning and maintenance
• Light accumulations of dust can be removed from the heater with a soft cloth. Wipe the
exterior surfaces of the heater occasionally with a cloth moistened (not dripping wet)
in a solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the housing thoroughly with a soft dry
cloth before operating the heater.
• The fan motor is lubricated in the factory and will require no further lubrication.
• No other user maintenance is required or recommended. If servicing is required, send
your heater to the nearest authorised service centre.

• Store the heater in a clean, dry place when not in use.
Note: portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating or as a supplementary heat
source. They are not intended to be the main sources of heat during the seasons when
heating is normally used.
Note: There may be traces of smoke or odour when the unit is operated for the first time.
Do not be alarmed. This indicates that a drop of oil fell on the heating coil during the
manufacturing process. It will quickly evaporate and should not re-occur.
5 Warranty / Disposal / Technical change
Warranty
The Products are controlled just before delivery. If despite a lack of your product, try
trustfully your seller. Please bring your receipt, as this is to be submitted for each warranty. The guarantee period is 24 months from date of purchase.
Disposal
The device must be disposed of properly. The device can be distributed free of
charge for disposal at each dealer.
Technical changes
We reserve the right to modify the price, the design and the technical features.
Please save the packaging materials of the unit.
