Select paired device 'VBT5 ' on mobile phone, and then select 'Connect'

2Enable Bluetooth feature of the mobile phone. 3In the Bluetooth menu, select 'add device'or ' search device'. 4'VBT50' appears in the device list, press 'yes'. 5Enter fixed pass key ‘0000'. Pairing completes. 6Edit the device name if you would like to personalize it.

Sound
A low to high 'dodo' sound. Flashes blue every 2 seconds indicates in idle mode.
A high to low 'dodo' sound and LED indicator goes off.

The red and blue are alternately flashing every second indicates searcing for paired devices.

If connected with Handsfree Profile, blue always on indicates in standby mode.

Handsfree will be switched off automatically if the connection between mobile phone and the handsfree breaks down for more than 15minutes.

Getting Started
For the first tim e us ing the handsfree , pl ease:
Charge handsf re e with the provided c ha rger for 2 hours.
Ensure a Blueto ot h function suppor in g mobile phone is rea dy for pairing.
Charging
Charge with sav er C harge (cigarett e li ght adaptor)
Switch on the han ds free.
Connect the sav er c harger to the in car ci ga rette socket, a nd t hen to the
charging port o f th e handsfree.

After the han ds free is switche d on .It is waiting t o be c onnected by m ob ile phone. The LED indicat or flashes blue e ve ry 2 seconds in di cates idle mode . When the handsfree and t he device are dis co nnected, th e ha ndsfree will re turn back to idle mode.

EITHER
To connect with pai re d or reconnect with p re viously connect ed phone, press and hold Multifun ct ion key for 3 seconds t o sw itch on the hands fr ee. The hands fr ee will search and c on nect to the phone nea rb y automatically . (The LED ind ic ator flashes blue e ve ry second indic at es the searching mo de . The searching m ay l ast for ½ minute.If no phone can be fou nd , the handsfree will return to id le m ode. )

To connect with the h an dsfree through th e ph one, in the setti ng m enu of the phone,selec t ‘V BT50’ from ‘Paired Devic e’ . Select ‘connect ’a nd the phone will connect to the ha nd sfree.

Pairing with a phone
Care and Maintenance
Before using th e ha ndsfree, you must p ai r it with the mobil e ph one first. Once the handsfree and t he p hone has paired the y st ore the ID of each ot he r. Thus they can connect eac h ot her automatical ly. You can check, d el ete or rename the paired device i n th e devices list of the m ob ile phone.
1.Place the Blu et ooth handsfree an d th e Bluetooth mob il e phone within a distance of 1 met er.
2.Switch on the B lu etooth mobile pho ne a nd enable Bluetoo th feature. If the phone has ‘prof il e ’ optio ns , you are recomme nd ed to select ‘Hands fr ee Profile’ rather than ‘He ad set Profile’ .
3.Press and hol d th e multifunction k ey f or 6 seconds and th e re d and blue are alternately f la shing every secon d in dicates in paired s tatus.
4.On the Blueto ot h mobile, searchi ng f or device, 'VBT 50 ' will appear in the device list.
5.Select devi ce ‘ VBT50’ and enter fixed pas s ke y ‘0000’. Pairing c om pleted .The LED indicator t ur ns blue steadily in di cates the handsfr ee is connected to th e phone with Hand sf ree Profile.
6.Make sure the p ai red mobile has retu rn ed to main menu.
7.The volume is a ut omatically set to m id dle level. For be st p erformance, pre ss '+' or '-' to adjus t a su itable volume lev el .
Check if the mobi le d isplays any messa ge o r icon which indica tes the connectin g status. After pairing com pl eted, some phon es a utomatically co nn ect to handsfree imm ed iately.Som e ph ones keep waiti ng f or building up the co nn ection manually. In t his case, press Mul ti function key on ce , VBT50-AU will con ne ct to the phone. Or you c an s elect ‘VBT50’ from the “Pa ir ed Device” of the p ho ne. The phone will conn ec t to the handsfree. P le ase refer to your p ho ne’s user man ua l.
You sh ou ld now be able to make wi re less communic at ion with the handsf re e. Keep the distan ce b etween the handsf re e and the mobile wi th in 10 meters and free from obsta cl es. You can dial and rece iv e calls by the phone, o r activate the voice dialing t o re dial the last numbe r an d receive calls thr ough the handsfre e.
“Handsfree Pr of ile” supports ‘Voi ce d ial’, Redial the la st number and Call transfer func ti ons. If the mobile ph on e only supports H ea dset Profile, tho se functions are n ot a vailable.
Check the laws an d re gulations on the us e of m obile phones and ha nd sfree equipment in th e ar ea where you drive.
Always give ful l at tention to drivin g. I n some areas. You are required t o pu ll off the roa d an d park before makin g or a nswering a call .

Do not expose it to m oi sture or humidity. Keep it away fro m an y liquid or Chemicals.
Do not keep the dev ic e in dusty area. Only u se a s oft damp cloth to c le an it.
Do not attempt to d is assemble the hand sf ree and the charg er s.
Do not try to repla ce t he rechargeable b at tery inside the h an dsfree.
Charge the hand sf ree only with the sup pl ied charger.
