On Placement
• Do not use the unit in places that are extremely hot, cold, dusty, or humid.
• The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspaper, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
On Safety
• When connecting or disconnecting the AC power adapter, grip the plug and not the cord itself. Pulling the cord may damage it and create a hazard.
• When you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, disconnect the AC power adapter.
• No naked ame sources such as lighted candles should be placed on the AC power adapter and the unit.
• Leave a minimum of 10cm around the apparatus for ventilation.
• Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
• Use of apparatus in moderate climates.
On Condensation
• When left in a heated room where it is warm and damp, water droplets or condensation may form inside the unit. When there is condensation inside the unit, the unit may not function normally. Let the unit stand for 1 to 2 hours before turning the power on, or gradually heat the room and let the unit dry before use.
Rating Plate Location
• The rating plate is located at the bottom of apparatus.

DISC FORMATS
This player can playback discs bearing any of the following marks:

Region Management Information
This unit has been designed to playback BD-video with region and DVD-video with region You cannot playback BD-video or DVD-video that are labeled for other regions. Look for the symbols on the right on your BD-video or DVD-video. If these region symbols do not appear on your BD-video or DVD-video, you cannot playback the disc in this unit.
Disc Function or Operation that is Not Available
When the symbol appears on the screen, it indicates that the function or operation attempted is not available at that time. This occurs because the disc manufacturer determines the specic functions. Certain functions may not be available on some discs. Be sure to read the documentation provided with the disc.

Note:
• When playing back a CD-G (Graphics) or CD EXTRA disc, the audio portion will be played, but
the graphic images will not be shown.

Titles, Chapters and Tracks
• Blu-ray Discs and DVDs are divided into “titles”
and “chapters”. If the disc has more than one movie on it, each movie would be a separate “title”. “Chapters” are sections of titles.
• Audio CDs are divided into “tracks”. A “track” is
usually one song on an Audio CD.
Note:
• Numbers identify each title, chapter, and track on a disc. Most discs have these numbers
recorded on them, but some do not.
Notes on Unauthorized Discs You may not be able to play back some discs on this unit if they were purchased from outside your geographic area or made for business purposes.

REMOTE CONTROL
Using the Remote Control
• Point the remote control at the REMOTE SENSOR located on the unit.
• When using this unit in very bright light, the infrared REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR may not
work properly.
• The recommended effective distance for remote operation is about 16 feet (5 meters).
Battery Replacement
When the batteries become weak, the operating distance of the remote control will be greatly reduced and you will need to replace the batteries.
To Change Remote Batteries
1. Open the battery door.
2. Insert two AAA size batteries.
Note:
• If the remote control is not going to be used
for a long time, remove the batteries to avoid damage caused by battery leakage corrosion.
• When discarding batteries, environmental
problems must be considered and local rules or laws governing the disposal of these batteries must be strictly followed.
• Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix
ALKALINE, standard (CARBON-ZINC), or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, etc) batteries.
WARNING:
• Do not dispose of the battery in re or it may explode or leak.
• Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, re or the like.
CAUTION:
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.

CONTROL REFERENCE GUIDE
1. STANDBY/ON Button Press to turn on the unit or put it in standby
mode.
2. Color buttons When playing a Blu-ray Disc that has a Java
application, press to control playback. For more information, see the documentation that comes with the Blu-ray Disc.

4. CLEAR Button Clear input selections and cancel certain
playback functions.

MUTE Button
Press to turn off the sound.

Fast reverse or fast forward playback.
7. CURSOR ( Press to highlight selections on a menu
screen and adjust certain settings. OK Button Press to conrm selections on a menu
screen.
8. SLOW Button Press to perform slow forward playback of
Blu-ray Discs or DVDs.

Press to stop playback.
PLAY Button
Press to start playback.
PAUSE/ STEP Button
Press to pause playback, frame advance.
11. INFO Button Accesses the info menu.
12. AUDIO Button Press to select one of the audio sound
tracks programmed on a Blu-ray Disc or
DVD.
13. REPEAT Button Press to repeat chapter or title of a Blu-ray
Disc or DVD. Press to repeat single track
or whole CD.
14. A-B Button Press to perform point-to-point repeat
playback on a DVD or CD.
15. PICTURE Button Press to adjust brightness, contrast,
backlight & Screen.
16. GOTO Button Press to skip directly to a specic location
on a Blu-ray Disc or DVD.

17. POP UP Button During Blu-ray Disc playback, press to
open a menu that lets you control Blu-ray Disc playback.

/ Skip Buttons
Press to move backwards or forward
through titles, chapters or tracks on a Blu­ray Disc, DVD or CD.
19. PiP Button Press to turn PiP (picture in picture) mode
on or off. This function is only available on certain Blu-ray Discs.
20. SETUP Button At stop mode, press to open or close the
SETUP menu screen.
21. ANGLE Button Press to switch the camera angle of the
video presentation when scenes with multiple camera angles are recorded on a Blu-ray Disc or DVD.
22. ZOOM Button Zoom in an image.
23. SUBTITLE Button Press to select one of the subtitle languages
programmed on a Blu-ray Disc or DVD.
24. MENU Button Press to open or close the Disc’s menu.

Indicator
When charging with the AC power adapter,
switch the CHARGE / OFF / ON switch to CHARGE position, the green light will illuminate. Charging is completed when the charging light goes out.
Indicator
When the CHARGE / OFF / ON switch is in
ON position you can use the remote control to put the product in STANDBY mode. This light will illuminate when product is in
STANDBY mode. Remote Sensor Receives the remote control signal.
