SD-500 Encoder Requirements
SD-500 System Requirements
The minimum system requirements for the SD-500 include.
•
Windows XP Pro Service Pack 1
•
Microsoft DirectShow 8.1
1.7 GHz CPU
512 MB system memory
CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
Monitor with 1024 x 768 resolution (1280 x 1024 recommended), 24-bit color (32-bit color recommended)
200 MB of hard drive space on system drive for the SD-series encoder application and related files
Separate hard drive for video and audio files (9–18 GB recommended)
SD-500 CPU Requirements
The following CPUs are recommended for use with the SD-500. Other CPUs may also be compatible but these are
the ones recommended by Sonic.
Dell Precision 340, Pentium IV, 2.4 GHz
Dell Precision 350, Pentium IV, 3.0 GHz
HP Workstation xw4000, Pentium IV, 2.8 GHz
HP Workstation xw4100, Pentium IV
HP Workstation xw8000, Intel Xeon, 2.8 GHz
