HIGH QUALITY, WIDE-DISPERSION INVISIBLE SPEAKERTILE
®
The Sound Advance®ST2416S SpeakerTile®is a remarkable combination of wide bandwidth, wide dispersion, and a highly-refined aesthetic presentation, designed for commercial installations. It is part of a unique family of truly invisible distributed sound products from Sound Advance.
All ST2416S SpeakerTile models are available in several mounting options, allowing them to be easily installed into standard T-bar suspended ceiling systems, completely replacing a standard 2 ft x 2 ft ceiling tile.
The ST2416S is available in six different models, featuring a selection of standard 3-dimensional patterns or factory-applied surface finishes that allow a match with almost any suspended ceiling tile pattern. The white Expanded PolyStyrene
®
(EPS) front surface of the SpeakerTile allows all models to optionally be finished on-site with any water-soluble finish, such as latex paint, or covered with light wallpaper, fabrics and selected texture coats*, further enhancing the SpeakerTile’s ability to blend invisibly with almost any interior design choice.
Patented Planar Diaphragm Technology™ allows a ST2416S that has been properly installed in a suspended ceiling to radiate sound in a 140° hemispherical pattern with smooth, even coverage. This dispersion characteristic allows ST2416S speakers to be spaced farther apart than narrow-dispersion conventional speakers, reducing the total quantity of loudspeakers required in almost any installation.
The ST2416S is a one-way, full-range device. The ST2416S is transformercoupled, with the following input taps: 0.5W, 1W, 2W, 4W, 8W, 16W and 8-ohm bypass.
[*Please contact Sound Advance for advice before applying any textured coating, light wallpaper or fabrics to the ST2416S.]
