• This product is not designed to be used by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capacity is impaired, or persons with little experience or knowledge, unless they are under supervision or have received instructions on using this product by a person responsible for their safety.

Introduction

Combined with the TaHoma®, this product:

- Detects an intrusion or attempted intrusions into the house

- Oﬀers more options for the connected home (Smart automated systems)

It detects whether the home's access points and opening features are open, as well as any shocks they receive.

This product can therefore be used in two contexts:

Fitting the battery

To open the unit, press on the upper section of the opening and shock detector unit to unclip the front of the case.

Insert the battery the correct way ("+" side on the "+" side and "-" side on the "-" side).

Do not replace the front of the case before adding the opening and shock detector to the TaHoma® and conﬁguring it.

Adding to TaHoma

On the TaHoma® interface, select the tab.

- Select the Conﬁguration tab.

- Select the "IO" tab, then select "Add".

- Follow the procedure shown on the screen.

- AFTER pairing is complete, the green indicator light will switch oﬀ.

Do not replace the front of the case until the opening and shock detector has been conﬁgured.

Installation

Locations and usage scenarios.

Depending on the usage scenario (Connected Security or Connected Home), there are several possible installation conﬁgurations: Solutions A,B or C.

Solution A is recommended for a more ﬂexible application

For Connected Security (TaHoma®serenity):

• Opening detection In order to be able to detect intrusion, install the opening and

shock detector as follows:

- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the door or window.

- B) Or the reverse depending on your installation.

- C) Unit installed on the moving part only, if the opening element is not large enough for the magnet to be installed.

For solution C: Detection is based only on the movement of the opening element, and not on the current opening status (open/closed).

- You are alerted of an intrusion in the event of any movement.

- On the TaHoma®serenity interface, the sensor icon does not change and, as a default, continues to show the status of the opening element before the intrusion (closed).

• Shock detection In order to be able to detect attempted intrusion, install the

opening and shock detector as follows:

- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the door or window.

The Unit detects intrusion attempts (intrusion alert), and the Magnet makes it possible to identify the actual opening status (detector status visible in the interface) and so identify whether or not intrusion has taken place.

For Connected Home (TaHoma®):

• Opening detection only In order to be able to detect openings, install the opening and

shock detector as follows:

- A) Unit on the moving part and the magnet on the frame of the door or window.

- B) Or the reverse depending on your installation.

Mounting

Easy installation using adhesive strips

• Clean the surface where the unit and the magnet will be mounted.

• Aﬃx the elements following the chosen installation method (A, B or C).

Mounting with screws

• Press on the upper section of the unit and magnet to unclip the front panel.

• Place the back panel (of the unit or magnet) into the chosen position and the screw holes with a pencil.

• Use ﬁxing screws (3.5mm diameter and 19mm in length) and suitable plugs (3.5mm diameter and 25mm in length) to ﬁx the opening and shock detector to the surface.

• Firmly secure the back section of the opening and shock detector in place.

Conﬁguration

To use the opening and shock detector in the various settings previously mentioned, use the following conﬁgurations.

Activation / Deactivation of magnet

The mode selector indicates the activation/deactivation of the magnet.

For Connected Security (TaHoma®serenity):

• Opening detection For solutions A or B, put the mode selector in the Magnet activated position (default position). The opening and shock detector is now operational.

For solution C, place the selector in the "Magnet not activated" position, then carry out the opening programming (see p12). This step enables the unit to recognise opening or closing of the window or door without requiring the magnet.

• Shock detection For solution A, set the mode selector to the "Magnet activated" position (default position), the proceed to the shock "learning" mode (see p12). This step enables the unit to recognise intrusion attempts.

For Connected Home (TaHoma®):

• Opening detection For solutions A or B, put the mode selector in the Magnet activated position (default position). The opening and shock detector is now operational.

Opening and shock "learning" mode

This enables the opening and shock detector to recognise:

- an intrusion: opening "learning" OR

- an intrusion attempt: shock "learning"

Ensure the opening element has been closed. Then all that is required are the following 3 steps:

1) Press the calibration button (C) and hold for 3 seconds.

2) The red indicator light will light up for 10 seconds: close the unit cover whilst the light is on.

3) The red indicator light will blink rapidly: this is the learning step.

- Opening "learning": open the window/door normally. OR

- Shock "learning": force/shake the door/window to simulate an intrusion attempt.

If there is an error, the red indicator light will blink twice every ﬁve seconds. Return to step 1.

C P

Carry out an intrusion test or intrusion attempt once this stage is ﬁnished to check that the opening and shock detector is functioning correctly. The indicator turns red to indicate detection.

Deactivating the programming

To reset the opening and shock detector settings, unclip the front panel of the unit and press the calibration (C) button for 10 seconds; the indicator light will come on then go out.

Resetting the opening and shock detector

To delete the opening and shock detector from the TaHoma, unclip the front panel of the unit, and press the programming button (P) for 10 seconds; the indicator light will come on then go out.

Recycling

Do not dispose of this product with the household waste. Please take it to a collection point or an approved centre to ensure it is recycled correctly.

De batterij plaatsen

Druk om te openen op het bovenste deel van de behuizing van de schok- en openingsdetector om de voorkant ervan los te maken.

Plaats de batterij in de juiste richting ("+"-pool bij "+" en "-"-pool bij "-").

Plaats de voorkant pas terug als u de schok- en openingsdetector hebt toegevoegd aan TaHoma® en hebt geconﬁgureerd.

Toevoegen aan Tahoma

Selecteer op de TaHoma®-interface het tabblad .

- Klik op het tabblad Conﬁguratie .

- Klik op het tabblad "IO" en daarna op "Toevoegen".

- Volg de aangegeven procedure.

- AAN het einde van de koppeling gaat de groene led "uit".

Plaats de voorkant pas terug als u de schok- en openingsdetector hebt geconﬁgureerd.

Installatie

Plaatsen en gebruikssituaties.

Afhankelijk van de gebruikssituatie (connected veiligheid of connected huis), zijn voor de installatie meerdere conﬁguraties mogelijk: Oplossing A, B of C.

Oplossing A wordt aanbevolen voor ﬂexibelere gebruiksmogelijkheden

Voor de connected veiligheid (TaHoma®serenity):

• Openingsdetectie Om een inbraak te kunnen detecteren, installeert u de schok- en

openingsdetector als volgt:

- A) Behuizing op het beweegbare deel van de deur of het venster en magneet op het kozijn.

- B) Of omgekeerd, afhankelijk van uw installatie.

- C) Of behuizing op alleen het mobiele deel, als op de deur of het venster geen magneet geplaatst kan worden.

Voor oplossing C: De detectie werkt alleen op de beweging van het venster of de deur en niet op de staat ervan (open/dicht).

- De beweging waarschuwt u omtrent de inbraak.

- Op het scherm van de TaHoma®serenity verandert het picogram van de sensor niet, het toont standaard de staat van het venster of de deur vóór de inbraak (dicht).

• Schokdetectie Om inbraakpogingen te kunnen detecteren, installeert u de

schok- en openingsdetector als volgt:

- A) Behuizing op het beweegbare deel van de deur of het venster en magneet op het kozijn.

De behuizing detecteert inbraakpogingen (waarschuwing bij inbraak) en met de magneet kan de daadwerkelijke openingsstatus vastgesteld worden (status van de sensor die zichtbaar is in de interface) en weet u dus of er is ingebroken of niet.

Voor het connected huis (TaHoma®):

• Alleen openingsdetectie Om een opening te kunnen detecteren, installeert u de schok-

en openingsdetector als volgt:

- A) Behuizing op het beweegbare deel van de deur of het venster en magneet op het kozijn.

- B) Of omgekeerd, afhankelijk van uw installatie.

Bevestiging

Gemakkelijke installatie met zelfklevende strips

• Reinig het oppervlak van de stijl waarop u de behuizing en de magneet gaat vastmaken.

• Plak de onderdelen vast naar gelang de gekozen oplossing (A, B of C).

Vastschroeven kan ook

• Druk op de bovenkant van de behuizing en van de magneet om de voorkant los te maken.

• Houd de achterkant (van de behuizing en van de magneet) op de gewenste plaats en teken met potlood de plaats af van de bevestigingsgaten.

• Gebruik geschikte bevestigingsschroeven (diameter 3,5 mm en lengte 19 mm) en pluggen (diameter 3,5 mm en lengte 25 mm) om de schok- en openingsdetector vast te zetten.

• Maak de achterkant van de schok- en openingsdetector goed vast.

Conﬁguratie

Voor het gebruik van de schok- en openingsdetector in de verschillende hierboven genoemde gevallen, voert u de volgende instellingen uit.

Activeren/deactiveren van de magneet

De modusschakelaar gee het wel of niet activeren van de magneet aan.

Voor de connected veiligheid (TaHoma®serenity):

• Openingsdetectie Zet voor oplossing A of B de modusschakelaar in de stand Magneet geactiveerd (standaard positie). De schok- en openingsdetector is operationeel.

Zet voor oplossing C de modusschakelaar in de stand Magneet niet geactiveerd en ga dan verder met het programmeren van het openen (zie p12). Hierdoor kan het systeem het openen of sluiten van de deur of het venster zonder magneet herkennen.

• Schokdetectie Zet voor oplossing A de modusschakelaar in de stand Magneet geactiveerd (standaard positie) en ga dan verder met het programmeren van een schok (zie p12). Hierdoor kan het systeem een inbraakpoging herkennen.
