the

date

of

purchase,

if the

portable spreader

is

maintained according

to the

instructions

in the

owner's manual, Solo will repair

or

replace,

free

of

charge,

any

parts

found

to be

defective

in

material

or

workmanship.

This

warranty

does

not

cover repairs necessary because

of

operator abuse, negligence, improper

storage, accident, normal wear

or

failure

to

maintain

the

equipment according

to the

instructions contained

in

the

owner's

manual.

Warranty

service

is

available

by

returning

the

spreader

to a

Solo service center. This warranty gives

you

specific legal

rights,

and you may

also

have

other

rights

which

may

vary from

state

to

state.

PREPARATION

AND

SAFETY

Always

wear safety glasses

or eye

shields when using your spreader.

Dress properly. Wear only closed shoes with good traction.

wearing

open sandals.

Wear long-sleeved clothes that

snug fitting. Avoid wearing loose clothing.

•

Wear either tightly

cuffed

cuffless

pants.

Wear non-slip gloves during operation. Wear a respirator

appropriate

type material being spread.

•

Long hair should

be

tied back

and

kept away

from

the

spreader.

•

Make directional adjustments before using

the

spreader.

Use

in

daylight

or

good

artificial

light.

Read

instructions

chemical manufacturer.
