Observe the following electrical guidelines when working on your Solectek product:

Industrie Canada Radio Frequency Interference Statement

This device is certified to comply with Industrie Canada (IC) RSS/CNR 139. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. It may not cause harmful interference.
2. It must accept any interference that may cause undesired operation.
3. This device has been designed to operate with an antenna having a maximum gain of 26dBi. Antenna having a higher gain is strictly prohibited per regulations of Industry Canada. The required antenna impedance is 50 ohms.
4. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropic radiated power (EIRP) is not more than that required for successful communication.
5. The installer of this radio equipment must ensure that the antenna is located or pointed such that it does not emit RF field in excess of Health Canada limits for the general population; consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada’s website www.hc-sc.gc.ca/rpb

This product has been certified by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission for use in the United States of America in that band. Other markings on the unit label shall indicate regulatory compliance in other international areas.
Any prospective user of this product outside the United States of America should, prior to such use, contact the government department or other agency responsible for assigning radio frequencies in the country in which use is proposed to determine whether such department or agency has any objection to operation of the product given current regulatory label markings on said product, and whether there are any other local devices generating signals in that band which might be expected to interfere with the operation of this product.
