1. Care, maintenance and malfunction
Only c lean the prod uct with a damp cloth. If the pum p fails to operate f irst check the position of the solar module t o ensure it receives sufficient sunlight. T he pump will onl y operate when it has s uffic ient power from either direct solar ener gy
or stored energy in the bat tery. On dull days the stored s olar energy from the battery is possibly not enough to op erate
the pump.

For cleaning, the filter box of the pump can be opened:
Pull off the cap at the fr ont of the pump. Take out the foam filter element. Clean it with clear water. Rem ove the cover
from the pump impellor and magnetic rotor. Clean thoroughly and then reassemble in reverse order.
The 7.2Volt lithium battery installed in the battery box is changea ble. If needed, o pen the 4 screws at the rear of the solar
module an d change f or a sim ilar battery. Reassem ble in re verse ord er mak ing sure th e seal is in place to avoid m oisture
entering the battery box.
Attention! During the winter and transition periods with frost the pump must be completely taken out
of the water, cleaned and stored in a frost protected dry place. In order to assure a longer durability of
the solar module we recommend to store it with the pump.

Warranty service is offered by the authorized dealer where the product has been purchased.
Warranty service is offered under presentation of the invoice or receipt for the product.
5. Disposal of batteries
Batteries must not be disposed into the ordinary rubbish.
The user is engaged by law to return batteries after use, for example to public collecting
points or to the shops where batteries are sold.
6. Disposal advice
Disposal of electronic devices must not be with the consumer waste. The user is legally responsible
to return these goods after use to an appropriate public collecting point or to places where such
devices are sold for recycling.
