DESCRIPTION
The SolarGoesGreen solar SMD-LED flood light is the premier choice for indoor or outdoor solar lighting.
The versatility of the SolarGoesGreen SGG-F108-3R makes it the best choice for use in gardens, parks,
warehouse, garages, driveway, sign, yards, farms, horse riding arenas and business. The SolarGoesGreen
solar LED flood light is easily installed. The battery is protected by an auto-detection circuit in the system to
control the brightness of the lamp, allowing the lamp to operation longer as the battery charge declines.

INSTALLATION
1) INSTALLATION OF SOLAR PANEL
For optimum performance, the solar panel must be facing the southern horizon and positioned at a 45
degree angle using the ground mount stake provided.
2) INSTALLATION OF BATTERY BOX & LIGHT
·
Mount the battery box using the ground mount stake.
· Fix LED lamp on top of battery box by using provided screws
· Connect LED lamp to battery box by inserting the lamp wire into OUT PUT plug on the box;
·
Connect solar panel wire to the SOLAR IN plug on battery box
· Switch the power ON. Lamp will light up and shut down after several seconds.
To test operation of complete unit, completely shield the face of solar panel by laying it face down on a flat surface or
cover the panel with thick black cloth. The Lamp will turn ON after several seconds.
SAVE THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE R EFERENCE.
After checking the above, the remote control can now be used to manage the unit’s ON/OFF function independently,
however please note The remote control only operates light function when the battery box switch is set to the
"Remote" power position on battery box.
OPERATION
The lamp will light automatically after dark. The SGG-F108-3R has a unique battery circuit that will provide full
illumination on full battery charge, but will also detect when the battery output level has reached 50% and reduce the
light output to increase the hours of illumination while reducing output by 50%.This control feature will also ensure
the battery does not discharge battery to damaging level.

POWER SWITCH DESCRIPTION:
ON --- ON at night and charging during the day
OFF --- Completely OFF
Remote --- Remote control can operate light’s ON/OFF
NOTES
· Charge the battery in ON or Remote position as noted above, for at least 2days before first use. THIS IS
IMPORTANT
· Solar panel cannot be placed in any shade or under buildings and should be put placed where it can receive
maximum unobstructed sunlight.
BATTERY MAINTENANCE
When the lamp is not in use, place the switch in position ON or Remote and charge it 20 hours or more under the
sunlight, then switch OFF.
Please note the battery must be recharged every 3~5 months even if the light is not being used, or battery will be
damaged and will need to be replaced!
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
If lamp begins to illuminate dimly or last a shorter length of time, and the hours of sunlight per day are in
excess of 8-10 hours per day, you should replace the rechargeable lead acid battery using the following
steps:
1)Remove the top cover of the battery box.
2)Disconnect the two connectors from battery and remove the old battery.
3)Install the new battery and remount in reverse steps.
4) Be sure and recycle your old battery and do not discard in trash.
Please note the default operation mode of the SGG-F108-3R is factory programmed with a default
operation for the lamp for Dusk to Dawn operation. If remote control operation is desired, please
move the power selection switch to REMOTE. This will then allow operation using the remote control
RF FOB. Selecting this position will allow the lamp will to turn on automatically with darkness. In the
REMOTE switch selected position, to cycle the lamp on simply use the RF Remote Control and press
the UNLOCK button to turn on the lamp and depress the LOCK button to turn off the light. If depress
the LOCK button finally on the first night, it will not no longer allow the lamp to turn on automatically
with darkness. If depress the UNLOCK button finally on the first night, it will allow the lamp to turn on
automatically with darkness. To return the lamp to Dusk to Dawn operation, cycle the master power
switch to the OFF Position and then back to the ON position to restore the factory default Dusk to
Dawn operation.
WARNING:
1) Do it carefully to prevent wires from being damaged.
2) Be sure that battery polarities are correct. Wrong polarity is dangerous.
3) Do not dispose of old battery. It should be recycled.
