How to use SolarUno® to charge AAA batteries
1. Switch to “USB OFF”
2. Place rechargeable batteries in battery holder.
3. Direct Solar Panel to the sun.
4. Batteries have reached full charge when LED is bright.
Performance
For the best performance, the environmental condition between 0°C (32°F) and 40°C (104°F) is recommended.
Charge time will vary depending upon the brand/capacity/condition of batteries being charged and the sunlight intensity.

LED conditions
1. If no rechargeable battery is placed, the LED shows if there is enough light for charging.
2. At the beginning of the charge process, the LED shines low, in some cases not at all (depends on condition of batteries being charged), which means battery capacity is about 25%.
3. Once all batteries are fully charged, the LED shines in full brightness.

How to use SolarUno® to charge MP3 players
1. Switch to “USB ON”.
2. Place 1 or 2 AAA rechargeable batteries in battery holder. (Make sure the batteriy is not empty before charging.)
3. Plug in your MP3 player into the USB jack.
4. Switch to “USB OFF” after charging your MP3 player.

Charging time may vary between different MP3 players or manufacturers and the sunlight intensity.
Attention
If non-rechargeable batteries are used for emergency, remove batteries immediately after charging stopped.
Non-rechargeable batteries will be destroyed by the power of
Solar Panel if exposed to the sun.
The above MP3 player and USB cable are for instruction only; not included in
SolarUno
®
standard package.
For emergency, place 1 or 2 AAA non-rechargeable batteries into and switch to “USB ON” to use SolarUno® as the "converter" to charge your USB-powered MP3 player.
SolarUno® can charge AAA batteries via the sun and charge your
USB-powered MP3 player at the same time.

If the Charge Controller fails to function within 1 year of purchase; Solar Card is defective within 3 years of purchase, we, at our option repair or replace the same free of charge on conditions that:
1. The complete unit is returned to the original distributo
r, postage paid.
2. The original invoice or sales receipt is presented together with the defective unit.
3. The unit has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any person that is not authorized by the manufacturer.
Service charge will be required if the damage is caused by misuse or neglect.

1. Do not charge any AAA batteries of other chemistry of battery cells in addition to NiCd and NiMh.
2. When charging batteries, do not use batteries of different capacities, brands, or condition. Failure to do so may damage the batteries.
3. SolarUno
®
is designed for high temperature rechargeable batteries only.
4. Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture.
5. Do not operate the charger if it appears damaged in any way.
6. Always place the battery cells with correct polarity.
7. Strictly against fire and water test.
8. Do not expose at temperature below -20ºC (-4ºF) or above 70ºC (158ºF).
9. Do not dispose any part into bin. Dispose of SolarUno
®
according to
your local environmental laws and guidelines.
10. Cleaning: Gently wipe a slightly damp cloth over SolarUno
®
.
11. Never use abrasives, corrosive solvents or chemicals.
