Contents of Packing
Open the shipping carton and carefully unpack its contents. The carton should contain the following items.
1. EWC-100 series device x 1
2. DC Power adapter (w/ AC power cord): Power adapter (AC input:100-240v/0.5A, 50/60Hz, DC output: 12V/1A) for EWC-100 Power adapter (AC input: 100-240v/1.2A, 50/60Hz, DC output: 54V/1.67A) for EWC-100-62W
3. Rack mount kit x 1
4. Rubber Footpads x 4
5. Quick Installation Guide QR cod card x 1
Install the EWC device in a suitable temperature / humidity environment. The power outlet should be within 1.82 meters (6 feet) of the EWC device. Make sure that there is proper heat dissipation and adequate ventilation around the EWC device.
Do not place any heavy objects above the EWC device.Users can check more technical specications from
http://www.soarnex.com if necessary.

For rmware upgrade, backup/ restore congurati­on functions.
EWC-100DC power socket accepts unput power 12V/1A.
EWC-100-62W DC power socket accepts unput power 54/1.67A.
On/ O Power switch (for EWC-100)- Push the controller On/ O push button to turn your controller “On” (Inner position) or “O” (Outer position).
Reset button- Press and hold this button for 15 seconds and release to reset the controller to factory defaults. The ports LEDs will trun off to indicate that the reset was initiated.

Side Panel
The left and right side panel of the EWC device have heat vents to dissipate heat.
Do not block these openings, and leave at least 10cm to make sure that the environment is well ventilated.

Hardware Installation
1. Attach the rubber footpads to the recessed area on the bottom of the EWC device.
2. Place the EWC device on a at desk or shelf.
5. Plug the power cord into the power socket of the EWC device.
3. Attach the mounting brackets on the both sides of the EWC device and secure them with the screws.
4. Then, mount the EWC device to a rack with the screws.

6. Keep enough ventilation space between the EWC device and the surrounding objects.
7. Connect your wireless access points.

Conguration
How to congure the EWC device via WEB brower is
shown as below:
• Please make sure the computer MUST be set on the same IP Subnet (same as the IP address of tyhe EWC device)
For example, the default IP address of the EWC device
is 192.168.1.100 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0, then the computer should be set 192.168.1x (where x is a number between 1-254, expect 100)with subnet mask
255.255.255.0.

Conguration
1. Login the EWC device via browser
Open your web browser and enter http://192.168.1.100 (the factory-default IP address) to access the WEB platform. Default User Name and Password of the EWC
device are “admin”. Note,You can congure the EWC device by entering the
User Name/Password and IP Address via WEB platform.
2. Recovering Back to Factory Default Conguration
If you’ve forgotten the User Name or Password or IP Address which has been changed, and then you can reset it to factory default settings through console port. After the EWC device has rebooted, you can login the EWC device via web browser and enter IP Address http://192.168.1.100 with the default User Name/Pass-
word (the factory-default is “admin”).
