SUBWOOFER
Fully Enclosed In-Wall Subwoofer for Standard 2x4 Walls
In-Wall Home Theater speakers are a joke. They lack impact, don’t image, and they make boomy bloated bass. In-Wall speakers mount flush to the wall and rely on the wall cavity to replace the speaker enclosure. But the wall as an enclosure is a poor substitue for a well designed cabinet...when was the last time you heard a speaker made of drywall and 2x4s. Snell solved the problem in 1990 with the world’s first In-Wall THX system, where we cleverly designed a cabinet that fit inside the wall. And we have solved the problem again, this time we have developed a subwoofer in an enclosure that installs in a standard 2x4 stud wall. Delivering amazing bass to below 40Hz, the AMC Sub10 is a designer’s dream come true. Snell duplicates the remarkable performance of its conventional subwoofers for an in-wall application by designing the AMC Sub10 in its own enclosure, steering clear of the “sound leakage”, vibrations, and boominess caused by “open-back” designs. Its motor structure and specially designed 10 Inch cast frame woofer permits extremely long linear excursions. The result is excellent dynamic performance for bass that can be felt as well as heard. The AMC Sub10 is the only subwoofer available that offers the performance of a freestanding subwoofer, invisibly!
