GENERAL SAFETY RULES
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING (THIS POWER TOOL)
WARNING
Read and understand all instructions before using this product. Failure
to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, re, and/or
serious personal injury . When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
• For household use.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attachments.
• If appliance is not working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to a service center.
• Do not handle appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked;
keep free of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air ow.
Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and all body parts away from openings and moving parts.

• Wear heavy long pants, boots, and gloves. Avoid loose garments or jewellery that could get caught in moving parts of the machine or its motor.
Do not operate the equipment while barefoot or when wearing sandals or similar lightweight footwear. Wear protective footwear that will protect your feet and improve your footing on slippery surfaces.
Keep rm footing and balance. Do not overreach. Overreaching can result in loss of balance.
• Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous, and must be repaired.
Do not operate this unit when you are tired, ill, or under the inuence of alcohol, drugs, or medication.
• Do not operate in poor lighting.
• Check the work area before each use. Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass, nails, wire, or string which can be thrown or become entangled in the machine.

• Use only identical manufacturer’s replacement parts and accessories. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage.

BATTERY-OPERATED PO WER T OOL S:
• Do not use battery-operated appliance in rain.
• Turn off all controls before removing the battery.
Recharge only with the charger specied by the manufacturer. A charger
that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of re when
used with another battery pack.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
Use appliances only with specically designated battery packs. Use of any
other battery packs may create a risk of injury and re.
• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
• Disconnect the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the power tool. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause burns or a re.
Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may
cause irritation or burns.
• Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries
can explode in a re.
Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.
Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to re or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or temperature above 265°F (130°C) may cause an
explosion.
Have servicing performed by a qualied repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the product is maintained.
• Don't modify or attempt to repair the appliance or the battery pack (as applicable) except as indicated in the instructions for use and care.

• Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or
appliance outside of the temperature range specied in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specied range may damage the battery and increase the risk of re.
CHILD SAFETY
Tragic accidents can occur if the operator is not aware of the presence of children.
• Keep children out of the working area and under the watchful care of a responsible adult.
• Do not allow children under the age of 14 to operate this blower. Children who are 14 years of age and older must read and understand the operating instructions and safety rules in this manual and must be trained and supervised by a parent.
• Stay alert, and turn the blower off if a child or any other person enters the working area.
• Use extreme care when approaching blind corners, doorways, shrubs, trees, or other objects that may obscure your view of a child who may run into the path of the blower.

KNOW YOUR BLOWER

KNOW YOUR BLOWER (See Figure 1.)
The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information
on the product and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this product, familiarize yourself with all operating features and safety rules.

The blower tube can be easily installed on the blower without any additional tools.
VARIABLE SPEED TRIGGER
Starts/Stops the ow of air through the blower.
CRUISE CONTROL LEVER
Pull backwards on the Cruise Control Lever to engage and lock the trigger. Push forward on the Cruise Control Lever to release and disengage the trigger.
TURBO BUTTON
Press the Turbo Button to boost the speed. Release the turbo button to make the blower run at the normal speed.

ASSEMBLY
ASSEMBLING THE BLOWER TUBE (See Figure 2 - 3.)

To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack from the tool when assembling parts.
1. Align either of the grooves in the tube with the tabs on the blower
housing. Push the tube into the blower housing until the tab engages the grooves.

Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged, missing, or loose parts, such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and do not operate this product until all missing or damaged parts are replaced.
APPLICATION
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
• Clearing hard surfaces such as driveways and walkways.
• Keeping decks and driveways free from leaves and pine needles.
TO INSTALL / REMOVE BATTERY PACK (See Figure 4.) TO INSTALL
• Align the ribs of the battery pack with the mounting slots in the blower’s battery port.
• Insert the battery into the battery opening until the battery release button locks into place.
TO REMOVE
• Press the battery release button on the blower. This will cause the battery to slightly protrude out of the tool.
Grasp the blower rmly and pull the battery out of the handle.
W A R N I N G
Always take care of your feet, children, or pets around you when pressing the battery release button. Serious injury could result if the battery pack falls. NEVER remove the battery pack when in a high location.

Always remove battery pack from the product when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use. Removing battery pack will prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury .
STARTING/STOPPING THE BLOWER (See Figure 5.)
• Ensure that the battery is installed in the blower.
Squeeze the trigger to start the blower.
• Release the trigger to stop.
USING CRUISE CONTROL LEVER (See Figure 5.)
This blower is equipped with a cruise control function. Please read and
understand the function of the cruise control lever.
Squeeze the trigger to start the unit.
• Once the unit is on, push back the lever clockwise to increase the speed. This will lock the speed at the desired setting.
• To decrease the speed, push the lever counter clockwise to decrease the speed to the desired setting.
NOTE: If you decrease the speed all the way, the unit will shut off and step one will need to be repeated.
USING TURBO BUTTON (See Figure 5.)
This blower is equipped with a turbo button. Please read and understand the
function of the turbo button.
• Squeeze the switch trigger to start.

• To boost speed, press the turbo button so that the blower can be operated at the highest speed. Once the turbo button is released, the blower will be operated at the normal speed.

OPERATING THE BLOWER
• To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow directly into the center of a pile.
To reduce sound levels, limit the number of pieces of equipment used at any one time.
• Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing. In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water is available.
• Conserve water by using power blowers instead of hoses for many lawn and garden applications, including areas such as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.
• Watch out for children, pets, open windows, or freshly washed cars, and blow debris safely away.
After using blowers or other equipment, clean up. Dispose of debris properly.

MAINTENANCE

In order to avoid personal injury and the risk of re and electric shock, remove
the battery pack before adjusting, inspecting, or cleaning the blower.
Cleaning
Remove the battery pack.
1. Brush or blow dust and debris out of the air vents using compressed air
or a vacuum. Keep the air vents free of obstructions, sawdust, and wood chips. Do not spray, wash, or immerse the air vents in water.
2. Wipe off the housing and the plastic components using a moist, soft
cloth. Do not use strong solvents or detergents on the plastic housing or plastic components. Certain household cleaners may cause damage, and may cause a shock hazard.
Battery Pack
• Store the battery pack fully charged.
• Once the light on the charger turns solid green, remove the battery from the charger and disconnect the charger from the outlet.
• Do not store the battery pack on the tool.
• After charging, the battery pack may be stored in the charger, as long as the charger is not plugged in.
Charger Maintenance
• Keep the charger clean and clear of debris. Do not allow foreign material to get into the recessed cavity or onto the contacts. Wipe the charger clean with a dry cloth. Do not use solvents or water, and do not place the charger in wet conditions.
• Unplug the charger when there is no battery pack in it.
• Fully charge the batteries before placing them in storage.
• Store the charger at normal room temperature. Do not store it in excessive heat. Do not use the charger in direct sunlight. Recharge at room
temperature between 43˚F and 104˚F (6˚C and 40˚C). If the battery pack is
hot, allow it to cool down inside of the charger.

ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE BATTERY DISPOSAL
The following toxic and corrosive materials are in the batteries used in this blower battery pack: Lithium-Ion, a toxic material.

All toxic materials must be disposed of in a specified manner to prevent contamination of the environment. Before disposing of damaged or worn out Lithium-Ion battery packs, contact your local waste disposal agency, or the local
Environmental Protection Agency for information and specic instructions. Take the batteries to a local recycling and/or disposal centre, certied for lithium-ion
disposal.

If the battery pack cracks or breaks, with or without leaks, do not recharge it and do not use. Dispose of it and replace with a new battery pack. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR IT! To avoid injury and risk of re, explosion, or electric shock, and to avoid dam­age to the environment:
• Cover the battery’s terminals with heavy-duty adhesive tape.
• DO NOT attempt to remove or destroy any of the battery pack components.
• DO NOT attempt to open the battery pack.
• If a leak develops, the released electrolytes are corrosive and toxic. DO NOT get the solution in the eyes or on skin, and do not swallow it.
• DO NOT place these batteries in your regular household trash.
• Do not incinerate.
DO NOT place them where they will become part of any waste landll or municipal solid waste stream.
Take them to a certied recycling or disposal centre.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Save your proof of purchase receipt. If you do not provide proof of the initial purchase
date at the time warranty service is requested, the manufacturing date of the product will be used to determine the warranty period. Product registration is not required to obtain
warranty service on Briggs & Stratton products.
ABOUT YOUR WARRANTY
Warranty service is available only through Snapper Authorized Service Dealers. This warranty covers only defects in materials or workmanship. It does not cover damage caused by improper use or abuse, improper maintenance or repair, normal wear and tear, or stale or unapproved fuel.
Improper Use and Abuse - The proper, intended use of this product is described in the Operator’s Manual. Using the product in a way not described in the Operator’s Manual or using the product after it has been damaged will not be covered under this warranty . Warranty coverage will also not be provided if the serial number on the product has been removed or the product has been
altered or modied in any way, or if the product has evidence of abuse such as
impact damage or water/chemical corrosion damage. Improper Maintenance or Repair - This product must be maintained according
to the procedures and schedules provided in the Operator’s Manual, and
serviced or repaired using genuine Briggs & Stratton parts or equivalent.
Damage caused by lack of maintenance or use of non-original parts is not covered by warranty .
Normal Wear and Tear - Like most mechanical devices, your unit is subject to wear even when properly maintained. This warranty does not cover
repairs when normal use has exhausted the life of a part or the equipment. Maintenance and wear items such as lters, belts, cutting blades, and
brake pads (except engine brake pads) are not covered by warranty due to wear characteristics alone, unless the cause is due to defects in material or workmanship.
Other Exclusions - This warranty excludes damage due to accident, abuse,
modications, alterations, improper servicing, freezing or chemical deterioration.
Attachments or accessories that were not originally packaged with the product
are also excluded. There is no warranty coverage on equipment used for primary power in place of utility power or on equipment used in life support
applications. This warranty does not include used, reconditioned, second-hand,
or demonstration equipment or engines. This warranty also excludes failures
due to acts of God and other force majeure events beyond the manufacturer’s control.
