IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using your Snakebyte Motion XS C ontroller please read this manual th oroughly. If you com ply with all instruc-
tions an d tips, using the Motion X S Controller is easy and comfortable. Please retain this manual for future reference.
If you don’t want to los e your warranty please refrain from opening the Motion XS Cont roller – there are n o user
serviceable parts inside anywa y. Inappropriate handling does invalidate the w arranty and of ten leads to malf unctions
of the device.
Keep your Motion XS Controller away from liquids and liquid containers such as vases, bottles, hot baths, jacuzzi
tubs, etc. Any damage occurring from liquids invalida tes the warrant y.

Within the package of the Snakeby te Motion XS you should find the following items:

If any par t is missing or obv iously broken pl ease contact your deal er immediatel y. If there are more than the three
mentio ned items included – congratul ations!
Connect your Motion XS Controller to any USB 2.0 p ort of your personal computer. The driver will install au tomatically.
Once ins talled, you may access your computer’s control panel in order to calibrate the Motion XS Controller. In order to
do so please double-click the icon entitled “Game Controllers” and select the Motion XS C ontroller. Click “Propertie s”,
followed by “Calibrate”. Carr y out the calibration process according to the on -screen instructions.

the Motion XS provides linear, spi n as well as tilt mot ion detection on the X, Y and Z axis.

Swing Fever
Complete four stages w ith nine different mini games using one of two game char acters
(cowboy & co wgirl) and help the couple with different tasks at hand, such as house
building, cooking or fishing.
Controls
Menu navigation: Tilt the Motio n XS controller horizontally and vert ically to highlight the
game’s different o ptions. Once highlighted select the option by press ing button 1 on the
Motion X S controller or return to t he former menu by pressing button 2.
In-game contro ls: Please pay at tention to the on -screen instruction of each mini game in order to find out
about each game’s controls .
Modes Swing Fever offers three game modes:
Single M ode Complete the single pl ayer story, i.e. all nine dif ferent mini gam es
Free Mode Choos e single mini games and tr y to improve your score without having to complete
the full s tory
VS Mode Compete with your friends for the highest s core
Single M ode offers two difficult y levels, Easy and Normal. While the mini games are playe d exactly the same way, the
only dif ference between dif ficulties is the rating of your score, with Normal requiring you to p erform much bet ter in
order to achieve an “Excellent” rating.
Mango Fish Adventure
In this 2D action game Mango the Fish needs your help on his long way home through
dangerous, hostile waters, after e scaping from a fishing n et.
Controls
Menu navigation: Tilt the Motio n XS controller horizontally and vert ically to highlight the game’s different
option s. Once highlighted select th e option by press ing button 1 on the Motion XS
controller or return to the former menu by pressin g button 2. Alternati vely you may use
the anal og stick to highlight the menu options.
In-game contro ls: Press button 1 in order to shoot. Press and hold button 2 in o rder to power up the
weapon, followed by but ton 1 to release a salvo of bubbles .
Button 3 allows to pause the game and eventually exit the session.

Shrew Mouse Party
Batter your enemies as one of the fo ur game characters Handsome, Star, Smart or
Prett y. Attention: Avoid traps a nd bombs and do not hit your friends .
Menu navigation: Use the analog stick to highlight the menu options. Once highlighted select the option
by press ing button 1 on the Motion XS controller o r return to the form er menu by
pressing button 2 or highlighting the BACK sign and pre ssing button 1.
In-game contro ls: Use the analog stick to direct the reticle towards the field you wish to hit and swing the
hammer. Button 2 pa uses the game.
Make sure to hit enemies, food (in order to increase your energ y meter) or coins. Missing
result s in loss of energy and damage to your own hea lth.

Difficulty levels The gam e has three stage s with 10 levels each. Each 10th l evel is a boss fight.

Planet Penguin Racer
Attend a slightly dif ferent race as a penguin gliding down slopes, avoiding obstacles,
contending for the win.

Street Racing
Weave this game’s traffic by avoiding cars on six lanes. Fuel is decrea sing, so make sure
to collect petrol cans along the way. The fa rthest run wins!

Neverball XL
Collect coins and extras in this balancing game and leave the pla tforms within time limits
through the exit holes. C aution, highl y addictive!

pauses the game.
Neverputt XL
Use the Motion XS controller like a golf club and comp lete three courses with 62 holes.

In-game contro ls: Define the direction of your hit by t ilting the cont roller horizontally, followed by pressing
button 1. Then set t he strength of you r hit by tilting the controller and pushing button 1
again. N ext swing the Motion XS C ontroller like a golf club i n order to carry ou t the
predefined hit. The space bar pauses the game.

Skating Penguin (Demo version)
A preview of the upcoming Motion XS soft ware title Skating Penguin wit h three levels.
Collect all penguins a nd lead them into s afety while avoiding predators and abysses.
Controls Start the demo with button 1. Control the penguin by tilting the controller. Collect the
young penguins a nd lead them home. By lifting the controller fitfull y your penguin
jumps, w hich allows you to leap across holes and tempora rily stun preda tors.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If you encounter any problems using the Snakebyte Motion XS Cont roller please read this section carefully before
contac ting our custom er support or your dealer.

1. My Motion XS Controller does not work correctly at all.
Make sure t he USB port you are using is U SB 2.0 compliant. The Motion XS C ontroller is not USB 1.1 compat ible. Please
also make sure the U SB port in use is in stalled correctly. Try to connect the controller to dif ferent USB por ts in order to
rule out any possible defects.
2. My game seems to receive input signals although I do not even touch the controller.
Use the Calibration op tion in your computer’s con trol panel as describe d above in the Insta llation sect ion of this manual.
3. The Games Collection is not running on my computer at all.
Make sure DirectX 9.0C is installed an d try to run the Games Coll ection again. Pleas e also make sure that your
computer’s hard ware complies with the Games C ollection’s minimum req uirements.

We issue a guarantee of two years af ter purchase of the Snake byte Motion XS Contro ller. Therefore, p lease preser ve
your invoice, e.g. together with this manual.
In order not to invalidate t he warranty and to protect your health never try to repair a nd/or open the device. There are
no user serviceable parts inside anyway. On top, the danger of electric shock or even fire is reduced considerab ly.
The guarantee is limited to defective parts or faulty assembly of the Controller exclusi vely, i.e. it only cove rs manufacturing defects.
Amongst others the following defects can not be ass erted:
• basica lly all defect s resulting from violation of th is manual
• defects resulting from improper use or cleaning
• mechanical and optica l flaws (e.g. scra tches, broken casing cau sed by brute force or carelessne ss)
• defects caused by force majeure
• any defects caused by co mponents that are not themselves par ts of or the Controller itself
