Contact qualied SMSL service personnel when anyservice is needed. The cabinet should never be opened for any reason. When not planning to use this unit for long periods of time (i.e. when going on vacation), disconnect the power cable from the AC wall outlet. Before moving this unit, disconnect the power cable from the wall outlet. Be sure to use the AC adaptor supplied with this unit. Using an AC adaptor other th­ an the one provided may cause re or damage to this unit. Install this unit near the wall outlet and where the power cable can be reached easily. For added protection for this product during a lightning storm, or when it is left una­ ttended and unused for long periods of time, unplug it from the wall outlet. This w­ ill prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges. Note The plug severed from the mains lead must be destroyed, as a plug with bared exi­ ble cord is hazardous if engaged in a live socket outlet.

SA-50 plus uses professional TriCore-digital audio processor, 32bitRISC processor and dual DSP digital audio processing unit, can perfectly decode 32 bit /192kHz music. Using the latest TAS5766M amplier chip from TI company in USA. Built-in SDB sound desigend and owned by S.M.S.L(SMSL Dynamic Bass).
SDB: SDB is a special sound eect designed by SMSL that can dynamically adjust the bass and treble according to the input source to enhance loudness, stereo and delity of the sound.

*Please Mind the Micro SD card direction when insert it into the slot.
*If the red light flashes when you press a key on the remote but it doesn’t work, please press A key first and make sure the IR Receiver on the machine is not blocked.

2. Enter Menu & Settings:
2.1 Enter Menu: Long press Menu Key to enter the menu, and you’ll see the menu interface as “gure 3”
2.2 Select Function:
Press & to select the function you would like to
set and press to enter setting.
2.3 Exit Setting:
Long press Menu Key to exit setting.
2.4 Hidden Menu:
If there’s no input source connected to the device, the system will automatically hide some functions from the menu to avoid mis-operation, as “gure 4”.

1.Start to Use:
1.1 Before using SA-50 Plus, please install your audio system (USB/ MicroSD/Optical/Analog/AUX input, and speakers). Make sure all the cable and power connections are good.
1.2 Press the Power key to turn on the device, then you can see the interface like “figure 1” as follow
1.3 Press Audio Source Selection Key on the remote to select the input source you would like to play. (or long press Menu Key to enter menu > “Input” to select the input source) Then the display will turn to music interface (as “figure 2”).

3.Firmware Update:
3.1 Visit “www.smsl-audio.com” > “Support” to download the latest rmware. Save the “rom.upd” le to the root directory/folder of a USB disk.
3.2 Press Multi-function Knob
(NO. f key) for 5 seconds, hold it meanwhile press
Power Key on the machine till the screen turns on and show “NO USB
”.
3.3 Insert this USB disk to the U-disk port on SA-50 Plus, and it will install the new rmware automatically. When the system shows “100% update”, the update is nished.
*NOTE: SMSL will update rmware for SA-50 Plus irregularly, please visit www.smsl-audio.com to check.
