The name Nano Patch Plus stands for integrated Nano Patch. It‘s a Nano Patch with additional connectivity
options. The Nano Patch Plus allows for integration with a larger number of third party products. Building on
the success of the original M-Patch 2 passive attenuators, the new Nano Patch Plus enters the market as one
of the smallest passive problem solvers on the market.
A great way to passively attenuate stereo signals from soundcards, CD players, pre-amps, and mixers, the Nano
Patch Plus is designed to allow precise level adjustments to analog audio source material. Featuring balanced
combo XLR/TRS input and a 3.5mm input jack and TRS and 3.5mm jack outputs, mute switch, and a good sized
rotary volume encoder, the Nano Patch Plus is simply one of the best improvements you could ever make to
your studio. No active circuitry, buffers, transistors, batteries, or power supply of any kind can interfere with
the main passive output of the Nano Patch Plus. It simply delivers attenuated signal. Pure, simple transparent.

The Nano Patch Plus‘s rotary control allows precise level adjustments
within 1dB from 0 to -40dB. Adjust the attenuation as required by rota­ting the encoder clockwise for little or no attenuation or anti-clockwise

The main stereo inputs are also located on the rear panel and feature XLR balanced combo connectors for
L&R input signal and a 3.5mm input jack. This input is perfect for connection to your main audio interface
device (soundcard, Firewire or USB audio interface, etc).

2. Mute Switch

The on/off mute switch on the front panel is for enabling and disabling
the Nano Patch Plus‘s built in mute function. All audio signal output is
disabled when the mute switch is in a depressed position.

3. Output Connections

The Nano Patch Plus stereo outputs are located on the rear panel and
features a pair (L&R) of TRS balanced analog output connectors and a

3.5mm output jack. Connect these outputs to your destination device
(active monitors, digital recorder, or wherever you need the attenua­ted output signal sent).

Application Ideas

The Nano Patch Plus really comes into its own when connected between your computer audio interface/
soundcard master outputs and a pair of active (powered) monitor speakers. One of the benefits of passive
volume attenuation is that you no longer have to control volumes with your software‘s master volume
fader. Reducing levels from your software only reduces the audio bit depth. It is much more appropriate
to keep your software masters at unity and attenuate the audio to your active monitors with a passive
controller like the Nano Patch Plus. This way you can maintain maximum audio resolution and attenuate
your monitoring volume with the confidence that the sonic integrity of your audio is not compromised.

die erweiterte Version des Nano Patch

und integriert durch seine Anschlussviel-

falt noch mehr Funktionen.

Er ist ideal für die Lautstärkeregelung
von DAWs (Digital Audio Workstations), nonlinearen Videoschnitt lösungen sowie perfekt zur schnellen und
unkomplizierten Lautstärke regelung Ihrer PC-Soundkarte. Endlich müssen Sie die Lautstärke an Ihrem Com­puter nicht mehr per Software-Regler absenken, was eine Bit-Reduktion des Ausgangswandlers bedeutet
und einen (oftmals starken) Qualitätsverlust nach sich zieht. Der Nano Patch Plus bietet einen komplett pas­siv aufgebauten Signalweg für eine absolut verzerrungsfreie Lautstärkeregelung von Audiosignalen inner­halb von Stereo-Abhörsystemen. Ihr Computer-System kann also vollausgesteuert bleiben und Sie regeln Ihr
System nur noch mit dem Nano Patch Plus, dieser ist dabei besonders flexibel: Symmetrische Eingänge in
Form von XLR- und 6,3-mm-Klinken-Steckern sind ebenso vorhanden wie unsymmetrische Eingänge (3,5 mm
Miniklinke). Ausgangsseitig finden Sie symmetrische 6,3-mm-Klinkenstecker und eine 3,5-mm-Miniklinken­buchse zum Anschluss an Ihre (aktiven) Lautsprecher-Boxen.

Nano Patch Pluss Lautstärkeregler erlaubt eine präzise Einstellung in
1-Dezibelschritten von 0 bis -40 dB. Drehen Sie den Regler gegen den

2. Mute-Schalter

Der On/Off-Stummschalter („Mute“) schaltet die Stummschaltfunktion
an oder aus. Alle Ausgangssignale werden unterdrückt, wenn sich der
Schalter in der gedrückten Position befindet.

3. Analoge Audioausgänge

Auf der Rückseite des Nano Patch Pluss befinden sich zwei symme­trische Klinken-Buchsen mit der Bezeichnung „L“ und „R“ sowie ein
Miniklinkenausgang („Stereo“). Schließen Sie diese Ausgänge an die
gewünschten Audiogeräte an (Aktivlautsprecher, HiFi-Verstärker etc.).

Sie können den Nano Patch Plus überall einsetzen, um die Lautstärke von analogen Audiosignalen zu
regeln. Ein mögliches Einsatzgebiet ist zum Beispiel die Pegelung von Ausgangssignalen eines Preamps:
Mit seinem hochwertigen Potentiometer beeinflusst der Nano Patch Plus das eingehende Signal in keiner
Weise und sorgt so für eine kontinuierliche Audioqualität. Zusätzlich kann der Nano Patch Plus zur Sig­nalanpassung eines D/A-Wandlers genutzt werden oder natürlich auch als lokale Schaltzentrale für com­putergestützte Recordingsysteme. Die Möglichkeiten sind praktisch endlos.
