Step 1: Remove OEM top (if equipped). Remove the top skin only, not the bow assembly. Fold the front
header back. (Fig A) Remove the fiberglass rod in the rear window for later use.
Step 2: Attach the rear window to top. Drape the new top over the vehicle and bow assembly. (Fig B)
Note: Please read instructions entirely before installing this product.

Step 3: Slide the front of the top over front header. (Fig C) Hook the five clips into the slots on the bottom
of the header. Its easier to clip the middle three first and then the ones on each side. (Fig D)

Step 4: Snap the rear five snaps on the top to the snaps on the rear bow. (Fig E)
Step 5: Attach and hook the rear plastic corner on the top onto the corners of the vehicle. (Fig F)
The stop on the inside edge of the
plastic piece on the top hooks around
the corner retainer on the vehicle.

Step 6: Pull the side window retainer bar outward away from vehicle. Separate the Velcro around the
window on the top. Insert the front part of the retainer bar into the window and secure with
the Velcro. Then proceed to fit the corner of the retainer into the corner of the window and then
slide the bottom portion of the retainer bar into the window and secure with the Velcro (Fig G)
Note: Use caution when pulling the retainer bar outward in order not to break the factory clip
its secured into. There is also a web strap on the inside that needs to be disconnected.

Step 7: Locate the straps on the side of the top near the center sports bar. Pull them forward and slide
through the loops on the end of tension assembly located near the base of the front header
bar. (Fig H) Pull strap back and snap together.
Step 8: Locate the flap with snaps in the center of the top. This folds over and snaps to the center sport
bar around the down light. (Fig I) Note: The strap is used to secure the windshield header when
you have it folded back.

Step 9: Push the side windows back towards the vehicle and latching the retainer bar into the factory
bracket located on the vehicle. Secure inside with retainer bar strap also. (Fig J, K)

Step 10: Slide the rear window fiberglass rod from your factory top through the bottom of your new
window. (Fig L) Hook the rear retainer bar into the center bracket of the tailgate first and then
proceed to the side brackets. Note: It may be easier if you remove your spare tire.
Step 11: Pull down the front header bar and secure with the factory latches. (Fig M) Installation is now
complete. (Fig N)

Care and Maintenance
-TOP, The top should only be washed with soap and warm water. Do not use an abrasive cleaner or rag. Especially on the windows.
- SNAPS, Keep the snaps (if applicable) clean and a silicone lubrication will help prevent them from sticking together.
-SEAMS, If seeps happen to occur in seams they can be treated with a Scotchguard type of spray. Patches can also be applied
on the inside of the top in the case of a rip or tear.
-Zippers, Keep zippers clean and apply a silicone lubricant to them to help prevent damaged to them and keep them operating
smoothly. Zipper heads can also be repaired if they happen to spread apart by using pliers to gently squeeze the head back
together
LIMITED WARRANTY
Smittybilt (The Company) warrants to the original purchaser of this product that should the product or any part thereof, under normal use and conditions, be proven
defective in material or workmanship within the warranty period of 1 year from the date of purchase, such defect(s) will be repaired or replaced (At the Company’s option)
without charge for parts or labor. To obtain repair or replacement within the terms of the warranty, the product is to be delivered with proof of warranty coverage ( e.g. dated
bill of sale, receipt), specification of defect, freight pre-paid with Returns Good Authorization Number from Smittybilt to place of purchase. Items returned to Smittybilt
Automotive without an Returns Authorization Number will be refused and returned to sender at the senders expense.
This warranty does not apply to any product or part thereof which, in the opinion of the Company, has suffered or been damaged through altercation, improper
installation, mishandling, misuse, neglect accident or acts of nature. THE EXTENT OF THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT PROVIDED ABOVE AND, IN NO EVENT, SHALL THE COMPANY’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY THE
PURCHASER FOR THIS PRODUCT.
This warranty is in lieu of all expressed warranties and liabilities. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY
SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. ANY ACTION FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY HEREUNDER INCLUDING ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY MUST BE BROUGHTH WITHIN A PERIOD OF 90 DAYS FROM DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE.IN NO CASE SHALL
THE COMPANY BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR
IMPLIED,WHATSOEVER. No person or representative is authorized to assume for the company any liability other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this
product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, therefore above
limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser may have additional rights, which vary from state to state.
