Read the safety warnings and instructions for the thermodisinfectors in which the rack is used
withcare, together with the safety instructions of the producer of the glassware and any other item placed on
the rack. Badly positioned items or glass which shatters during washing may cause dangerous injuries. If
necessary, washing results must be checked and subjected to non-visual inspections.
ZCS3 - INSTRUCTIONS FOR ASSSEMBLY AND USE
1 USE, PRECAUTIONS
SMEG has produced a medical clog washing system capable of washing up to twelve pairs of clogs
simultaneously. This rack has been manufactured SOLELY for washing clogs; it must therefore not be used
for washing instruments of other kinds.
IMPORTANT: To avoid poor washing or damage to clogs, use only the specific programme (see programme
chart).
This rack does not require assembly; simply take care to position the clogs correctly.
The system has been designed to ensure that no fluid remains inside or on the clogs, to provide the very
best hygiene standards.
With this rack only, a set of special filters are supplied, to be fitted before use of the rack. The instructions for
correct replacement are provided below.
The filter set consists of a circular filter with a filter cone, a micro-filter and a coarse filter. To ensure that the
appliance operates effectively, it is extremely important to keep the filters clean. They must therefore be
inspected often (e.g. after each cycle when washing glassware with labels) to remove any residues which
may impair operation.
